Shade shook out his fur before walking towards Jonah " It sounds pretty urgent if she need me this bad." he said before eyeing his brother Caden. " I'll be back" Then looked at the Alpha's " Thank you for metting me stay" then bounded out of the den bebfore eyeing Jonah " Does this have anythin to do with my other sister too?"
But he knew the answer. Yes. Of course it was with his other sister. Why else would she be calling him over.
" What ever she wants, I wont like it"
Dove was sitting up and groming her elegant fur when Jonah came in twith Shade " Ah...there you are Shade. COme sit. " then looked at Jonah " You can stay if you wish, Jonah, but if you have other things to do.... I wont hold you from them."
Em heaved a heavy sigh " Talking to them seperately seems like the only logical option. Putting them together first would be a grave idea. But if talking to them seperately doesnt work... then what? I dont want Hunter to get in the middle of a family issue. But he does seem to know whats going on right bout now. She had to think about his offer about each of them talk to one and then the other. She didnt like the idea of having a broken family, but what choice did she have?
Star stopped when Evan spoke. Thinking about what he said. " I dont know what is right or wrong at this point. If blood spills between us... the blame will be on me for not letting her into the new pack. But it is her fault for declining my offer. She knows there is more food up in the Western Territory than anywhere else. " |

Jonah looked at Shade for a brief second before walking over and sitting by Dove, giving her a playful lick. "Nothing is more important to me than being by your side Dove." He said, being genuine in his tone of voice. "Bringing in Hunter might be a good idea, but perhaps it would be better if we saved that option until there's nothing left for us to try. This is a family affair after all, and I don't think it would be wise to pull him into this immediately." Mikael said, leaning against Em, saddened by the divide between his two daughters. "So... which one do you want to talk to individually?" "Quite a lose-lose situation we find ourselves in." Evan noted. "Tell you what: if we can't get the Western Territory and we aren't willing to fight for it, I can roam about to some of the old areas I used to live in and perhaps we can live there instead." He definetely didn't want to get into a brutal fight with Dove and/or Jonah, and if fighting could be avoided, he would do it. |

" Then you may stay beside me" Dove said nipping him back for a few minutes before eyeing her brother " It has everything to do with me and your sister, Shade. I know what you will say before you even speak. But let me speak before you decide."
Shade rolled his eyes at her " Fine. "
She didnt know how to explain whats been going on between her and her sister, but she did it the simplest way possible " Shade... I want you to join me and Jonah. Star is really aggressive and just wants the Western Territory, the best place to get food and where there is plenty of water." then she looked at Jonah " she can have it. I can find a new place for us. But it will take you and Jonah to help me. I know about your defect, but it would be a good idea to strengthen your muscles. So... I was hoping that we could train you where mother trained Mikael." " But if its a tie, Dove... like.. You dont want it but Star wants you to have it. What would happen then? What would the next step be in a situation like that? " " I dont know. I suppose Hunter will have to come in and decide then. But that would mean, Star and I confront each other in his den and talk it out again. I hate the thought of it, but if it means that it ends our little fight about who gets what... then I can take it. You may go, shade. I need to be alone with Jonah for a bit"
Shade sighed before standing up and walked off but not before turning his head, looking at his siter and Jonah. Then he was gone. " You bet, Evan." Star said in agreement. " If we cant get the Western Territory.... I dont see why we cant go to the old ones, Evan. But what about other wolves... wouldnt they be a problem? " "Alright then. I'll go talk to Dove first. And you, Star. " Em said with a sigh "We will see how it goes from there. If all goes as planned, no blood will be spilled." She then noticed Shade walking out of the den and wondered what he was doing there. Then it came to her. " hey babe. Do you think that Shade went to go talk to Dove? I mean... they do get along way better than he does with Star" |

Mikael nodded at Em, but before he walked off to talk to his daughter about the escalating situation, he noticed Shade walking out of the den. "That is a possibility. Don't forget to mention that when you talk to her." He said, before walking to Star and Evan. "Star? I need to talk to you." A slight smile spread across Evan face when Star mentioned the possibility of other wolves. "That might be a problem, but I think we'll be more than capable to fend them off, especially when you are one of the strongest and most beautiful females I know." He licked and nuzzled her for good measure, before noticing her father walk up to them and asked to talk to Star. Oh gee... I wonder what this is about. Jonah nodded to what Dove said. "I agree. You might have the defect, but there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to train with us." He watched him leave before continuing the conversation with Dove. "I can definetely help you find a place for us to start our pack. I know a couple of spots where we could possibly go, as long as you approve of the spots, of course." He leaned into her and nuzzled Dove, licking her face and giving her plenty of affection. |

Star looked up and saw Mikael " Awe dad come on... Evan and I were just... " but she paused in mid sentance when she noticed the seriousness in his voice and face " Fine.. Evan do you mind stepping out for a bit.. go find that new place your were talking about...we can discuss this terrotory thing another time. Possibly tomorrow. I'll come find you when im done talking with father" She nuzzled him before he left. SHe had blushed when Evan said that she was the strongest and most beautiful females he knew. And she hoped he didnt see it as he was walking out.
" Dad... is this about the pack issue with me and Dove? Well, I suppose its time you know about what's really going on." She let him get closer and sit beside her before she spoke again " I dont think having the two of us be in the same pack is the right choice. She was right what she told me. It would just cause havoc and bloodshed. I dont disagree with that. I just wanted to give her a say in what she felt on what she wanted, And she had her say. There isnt anything else to talk about...is there?" she looked up at her father " Whats gonna happened between me and my sister? I feel like I am the one to blame for everything thats happened to this pack." Mean while with Dove and Jonah, Em was pacing back and forth before walking towards them."Dove... come take a short walk with me... it wont take long" " Yes mother" She said with a sigh. She looked at Jonah before nuzzling him and nipping him back playfully in return" I'll be back shortly. I promise. Make sure there is some food left by the time mother and I get back. I havent eaten in hours."
She then turned to her mother and followed her out of the den.
" Is this to do with the pack problem with me and Star, mother? If so, there isnt anything to talk about. She offered a spot in the pack..her pack... and I graciously declined because I know what would happen in the future" " You dont know what will happen, Dove. Nor does your sister. Or Shade for that matter. But all your father and I want is for the two of you to confront each other and end this... this...rivalry between the two of you. Its hurting this pack greatly. Hunter of course knows about it, but he is the last resort if this doesnt come to an end and his word will be final no matter what he decides. " They walked just to the Lightbringers border and stopped " I think I want to return home and think things through before I even confront her, mother. I understand what you are saying, I just want the time to let it all sink in for the night. Maybe even think it though during the morning meal the next day " " Alright. Whatever you think is best for you, I'll be here to help you. Now come on.. lets get back before we miss the meal. I hear its a good one" they nuzzled each other for a moment before turning around and headed back to the Darkseekers territory and howled their return. |

Mikael stayed still as Star talked, the serious look on his face not budging an inch before, during, or after her opening lines to him. Maybe the situation is more salvageable than I thought it was. Perhaps there is a way to avoid bloodshed after all. Star finished talking and he took a deep breath before speaking to her. "Well, I'm glad that the two of you have come to the same agreement about what could happen if you two started a pack together, as sad as that realization is." He looked down for a moment before continuing onward. "I'm not going to blame you for this Star. Yes, you and your younger sister have had your ups and downs in the past, however I am not going to force that you two stay together, whether it be in this pack or in one that you start. Sometimes it is merely better to give the other some room to think about things." He looked at his daughter for a second, knowing that it would only be a matter of time now before she and Evan would leave the pack, and even though he didn't like the idea of either of his daughters to go, he knew that they needed to live on their own eventually. Evan nodded and took off on his own, running through the territory to one of his old spots, and when he stopped to find one of his old dens, a few memories lingered into his mind and he grinned. Good times with this den in particular. Now I may start a whole new chapter here if we don't get the Western Territory. Evan closed his eyes for a moment and began to daydream. It was him and Star, and out from the den three pups bounded after them before tackling Evan and smothering him with licks. Evan smiled at the idea and his excitement for his future with Star only built as he cleaned up the den for a bit before heading back, knowing that the journey would be long enough for any conversation to happen. "I'll be waiting right here." Jonah said, nuzzling her in return as she walked away with her mother, leaving Jonah alone in his thoughts. Am I going to have to fight Star and/or Evan? It... it just feels so wrong to do so. I've known Evan for a little while now, and Star... In any case, I just hope that doesn't ever happen. |

" I am giving it some room, Dad... I just think this isnt the way anyone had planned. Not since Father died. But having him gone did release some of the tention between us. I dont ever have to worry about being hurt again. And I feel grateful forher doing what she did that day. She stood up to him, when I know I couldnt."
She looked at her father before talking again " What if... we did start a new pack.. two new packs... but visit every so often to chat and have fun? Would that sound fair enough?" Dove and Em finally came back and Dove stopped " Thanks mom. For everything you have done for both of us." he nuzzled her before heading back totheden and grinned " I knew you never would leave, babe" she teased as she walked over to him and layed beside him " I think I am going to talk to Star either tomorrow or tomorrow night." then added " But after eating of course. I cant handle talking to anyone in an empty stomach." As Star finished off with her father,she nuzzled him for the first time in days before racing off in search of Evan.SHe howled every fiveminutesto let him know that she was on her way. But so far, she was on her own. As she walked, she had time to think things through. A new life with the one she trully loved more than anything else. " Evan, darling? I think I have a plan for us and my sister and Shade. I just need you to hear me out. " Star said as she then stopped and spotted him. " Evan...wow....it's.. its perfect. It may not be the Western Territory, but its perfect..did you spot any one else around?" she walked up to himand nuzzled him. |

Mikael looked at her with a bit of curiousity. Even when wolf packs were started by leaders who knew each other and were friendly, they generally didn't help one another unless the situation was dire or they were getting something in return. "I will leave that decision up to you and your sister. This is your future you are talking about, and I do not have much say in the matter, however I have full confidence that you will make the right choice." He watched her head off and turned to Em, who was walking back with Dove after their talk was over. When they split apart Mikael walked over to her and sat down. "Well... what did she say?" Evan nuzzled her in return and smiled when she said it was perfect. "I didn't find anyone around here. And it's rather fitting; A perfect den for a perfect wolf like yourself." He said, giving her some more affection before sitting down beside her to listen to her plan. "What do you have in mind my love?" "Of course I would stay put. By the looks of things, it appeared that whatever conversation you and your mother had wasn't going to have a third to talk to." He nuzzled her a bit more as she lied down beside him and began to groom her pelt for her while she lied there. "Good things come to those who wait." He added, his tail wagging a bit before he got back to the general conversation. "Do you have any ideas about what we should do now? I'm at a loss at this point." |

Em sighed " It's best if I keep it confidential. Im sure you understand, darlin. She knows that talking to Star would be difficult when the time came, but I have faith in both of them that they would come to terms with each other. No matter what happenes, I know I will always be there for both of them, As you should as well. Like you always have been" Dove chuckled as she nuzzled into Jonah and placed her head on her paws,looking at the den entrance as he gently groomed her. Thinking. " I think we should take the Western Territory, Jonah. I know its far away from this pack, but it will help being there in the future. Imagine when there is no more food here and we get all the food. This pack would come to us, for who knows how long and wait out the food shortages." then looked up at him " We can help in the biggest way possible, Jonah. Dont you see? we have the biggest area. More food and space.
But then she sat up. " What if you, me and Shade left today? I know its last minute, but we might as well get the den and area cleaned up and workable." Star nodded. " Good. As long as we have this to ourselves, we should be safe. As for my sister, shade and Jonah... I have decided for them to take the Western Territory. I know they get all the space and food, but I want to let them have it. After everything Dove did for me when handling Lilac... its the best I could do to repay her." |
