After watching training a little longer, Emelote decided to go back to her room and catch some sleep. As she passed the entrance she spotted a teen, one of Maddie and Kieran's friends, head out. Emelote frowns slightly, typically the younger ones didn't go out by themselves. But perhaps he was just going for a walk or something. Emelote shrugs and continues on, slipping into her room. Locking the door, before taking her cloak off. Then Emelote proceeds to flop on her bed. Slipping into sleep quite quickly, despite all the troubles and stress on her mind.

In the scuffle that followed Joshua was thrown up against a few armor stands and weapon racks, causing whatever was on display to loudly clatter to the floor, but eventually the thief was captured by one of the blacksmith's employees, who took the liberty to get a few licks in himself for the trouble that he caused. Joshua quickly left the shop and walked to a nearby shop to get a weak healing potion to fix his arm. He didn't need anything very strong, but the cut did sting like hell, so it needed to be addressed. After downing the potion, which he could tell was on the lower end of quality because of how awful it tasted, he began to walk back to the shop, knowing that his shift wasn't up yet and hoping that it would calm down a bit, because he was not in the mood to be sliced again.

Emelote didn't sleep long and soon she was in the training room with her hands wrapped in cloth as she attacked a fake dummy. Then she hears a screech, and she glances sideways to see a phoenix sitting on a ledge,"Hey Anivia." The female phoenix opens her wings and flaps them, letting out another screech. Emelote chuckles as she steps back, she was sweaty and her hands were swollen from punching. But she felt alive with adrenaline and energy. "How's hunting been?" The phoenix had been out the last few days hunting for food. Anivia flies down to land on Emelote's offered arm, being gentle with her claws,"I assume that means the hunting was good." Anivia preens her feathers before rubbing her peak against Emelote's face. Emelote chuckles as she reaches up to scratch Anivia on the head,"Well, we've been having some troubles at home. So, it's been fun here."

Joshua grumbled some more as he stood in front of the shop, just wanting to let the rest of the patrol go without anything else happening. This is such a joke... just let someone else deal with the Guild for one day and let me have a day of peace. He looked at his arm and adjusted the bandages, making sure he wasn't losing a lot of blood from the cut and stealing glances at everyone that was walking in and out once again. (I know it's short but I'm low on ideas. I think it's time to send in the young thief...)

Anivia stretches her wings out again and Emelote chuckles,"Sleepy, aren't you?" Anivia lets out a little screech and Emelote takes the phoenix to her room, placing her on the little perch. "There you go girl, why don't you get some sleep." Anivia's beak opens in a yawn, then she ducks her head under her wing, her eyes closing.
(Will you control the thief, I don't really want to right now)

(Alright. I'll take control of him. If you want to take him over just put his movements in your post) From a side alley, a young boy stared at the blacksmith shop that Joshua was protecting. He heard rumours from fellow thieves that if a blacksmith's shop was to be raided, then this would be the place to hit. Sure they were forging weapons instead of jewelery, but there were more buyers as of late, especially considering that unrest against the king was rising, and if there was profit to be made in arming a possible rebellion, then he would be the one to make that profit. He emerged from his spot and drifted into the shop. Apparently there was something that the shop was cleaning up from, and this gave him the great chance of lifting some daggers and arrowheads. However, even though the kid thought he was being slick, Joshua had his eyes on him, but he wasn't going to say anything. It was risky, but he was hoping this young kid would reveal the location of where the Guild was at. If he lost the kid at all, then the goods would be gone and he would be yelled at... again. The kid left the shop and Joshua switched out with another Mask before tailing the kid at a distance, not wanting the thief to know he was being tailed.

(Alright)
Emelote hums as she heads for the canteen, she was hungry. The young women spent perhaps ten minutes at max in there, before she left, her stomach full. She was bored, and had basically been forbidden from going out and exploring and risking being caught by the Masks.
(Sorry, writer's block)

It was slow and careful business for Joshua to try to tail the thief without bringing attention to himself. His outfit nearly demanded attention from everyone around because of what it meant and the power that the Masks wielded, but yet he tried to act casual and without a real care as his eyes were still trained on the thief. It was somewhat hard to keep an eye on the kid because he was trying to wash himself into the crowd to make sure that nothing was able to track him down from the shop, and Joshua almost knew that it was a tactic that the Guild trained him in, but it wasn't going to work this time around. Finally affter much walking the kid dived into a side street, and Joshua was right after him. I'm so close... am I about to find where the Guild is located?!

Emelote hums as she heads back to her room, settling down on her bed as she glances at her phoenix who was still fast asleep. Anivia had been hunting, which meant she hadn't slept in a long while. Emelote had found the phoenix when the bird was barely hatched, with no parent in sight. Before Emelote had become closed and more or less emotionless, at least on the outside, she had found empathy in her heart and had taken the young bird in and raised her. Anivia becoming incredibly loyal to Emelote and the bird of fire and regeneration did basically everything Emelote asked.

It was almost too easy in Joshua's eyes. The thief locked in his sights was moving through the back streets, too carefree to bother looking back to be absolutely sure that no one was following him. Is this some kind of bait for me to be jumped by other Thieves? Joshua did hear tales about Masks being ambushed, their outfits stripped from them and their identities revealed, which almost guaranteed their expulsion from the organization. Now he was trying to figure out if he was being set up, but before he could check the thief stopped in front of a door, spoke a few words and waited for a second or so before heading inside and the door closing behind him. Without saying another word Joshua walked out of the side streets and alleys and made a beeline for the guardhouse, ready to show the captain of the Masks another potential blow against the Guild. Hell, it might be THE place where the Guild comes together. After knocking twice on the door, Joshua walked in and told the captain everything that happened and the hideout that he may have just found. Quietly the captain nodded and began setting in motion a sting on the building... tonight. (Want to skip to the evening... about midnight for the big bust?(
