Liri glanced up at the Sargent's voice, announcing that their short break was over. She gave Sombra a small sympathetic smile before stepping away to assume her position at the starting line. "It'll be over before you know" she said encouragingly as she glanced over at him. Only able to hope that all would go well from here. Being hit by rubber bullets could be handled just fine, it was mostly Sombra that she worried about.

The hours passed and lunch was finally called. They were finally headed back to basecamp to eat. Liri glanced over the others to check if they were fine. Emery was seemingly off in some other world, and she could only imagine Wyatt was plotting his next deeds of mischief. He had mostly taken to making the guards miserable throughout training so far and constantly sparked playfully banter among the small group of wolves. Sombra still seemed out of sorts and was leaning against her. A break would do them all good. She reached over and gently squeezed his hand.

After Wyatt's little challenge about whoever finished last would have their sheets stolen got Emerald's tail wagging that he was still there to make them smile. Unfortunately, though, she ended up being the last one to finish that round. Emerald didn't seem to mind it though, the friendly competition seemed to put a little pep in their step as they ran the course until lunch. Emerald had fallen asleep on the ride back to the base and woken up when Wyatt shook her as the truck stopped. "huh...?" She mumbled.

Sombra held glanced at Liri and smiled a little when she squeezed his hand after he leaned on her on the truck. Thanks to Wyatt's little challenge, it had helped him keep his hope and energy up until they were in the truck and on the way to camp. Even if it was just 15 minutes, Sombra closed his eyes and fell asleep on Liri until she moved when the truck stopped. He reminded himself as he slept, to apologize for falling asleep on her when he was feeling better.

Once the truck had come to a stop in the base, one of the guards hopped out of the truck and ran to the Wolf soldiers sleeping quarters. He was going to retrieve Delta and bring him to the lunch area while everyone else went on ahead.

Emerald yawned and stretched as Wyatt woke her, telling her that they had finally arrived at the base. At least they would see Delta in a few minutes since a guard left to get him and also they'd get to eat, which will mostly help Sombra out more than the rest. She accepted Wyatt's help out of the truck and stood next to him and helped him with Sombra.

Sombra blinked his eyes open a few times when Liri nudged him awake. He rubbed his eyes and yawned. Finally, they were here. Any more time training and he might have just passed out on the course. He quietly thanked Liri for waking him, the smell of food made him really want to run and go eat but he didn't have the energy for that. He got up and had to be helped out of the truck by both Wyatt and Emerald, "Thanks guys" Sombra said to them as they all started to walk to the lunch area.

As they were walking to their usual spot in which the group sat away from the marines, Emerald accidentally bumped into one of them. "Ack!" She got knocked into Wyatt, "Sorry! I wasn't looking where I was going and-"

"Hey watch it!" The marine snapped when someone bumped into him, one of the strange arrivals no less. Richie, already a sour bastard all around, couldn't understand how a bunch of youngsters had been brought onto the base without much of the proper procedures and the like. "Just watch where you're walking shrimp. Are you blind or something?" he cut off, his tone holding only hostility.

Wyatt had been distracted the moment Emerald bumped into a marine but snapped to attention when she was knocked into him. He reached out to make sure she was steady on her feet. "Relax. It was an accident, buddy" he stepped in at the hostile reaction from the marine, trying a friendly tone to defuse the moment of frustration. Apparently though, he had overestimated the marine's level of maturity. "Does it look like I was talking to you? You look about as smart as a rock. How'd the bunch of you even get here? Probably could even hurt a fly."

The insults and attempts at humiliation Wyatt could handle, even laugh off. It was when it turned into harassment and the smaller pair of their pack was targeted that his blood started to boil. The marine's final mistake was when he made a move towards the girls. It didn't matter what his intentions at that point, his actions were taken as a physical threat. "Back off man" the warning growl wouldn't be audible to human ears, but he made the warning clear by stepping forwards and firmly shoving the marine back. While he didn't set out to fight, he was ready for one. The first punch came from Richie and this ofcourse did no more than get rid of the last bit of patience the wolf had left. His eyes darkened dangerously and Wyatt lunged forwards at the marine. A marine who would quickly find out exactly what the group was capable of if Wyatt couldn't be reigned in.

Liri saw the oncoming disaster just a bit too late and was unable to react in time when Wyatt lunged. In all honesty she didn't exactly want to stop him either, but by the looks of it he was set on more than just throwing a punch. "Wyatt no!"

Emerald was going to apologize again but, wasn't able to as Wyatt stepped in. Then it wasn't long until the insults from the marine started, first towards the whole group and then mainly towards her and Emery. She had gotten frightened and backed away and stood behind next to Emery, Emerald did flinch when Sombra growled and stood in front of them and Liri. Emerald closed her eyes as soon as the punch was thrown and then Wyatt retaliated.

Sombra seemed to have been pulled out of his foggy state of mind when he picked up Wyatt growling. He looked over and saw the marine and heard everything that went on, and as soon as the insults started Sombra growled and stood in front of Emerald, Emery, and Liri. Even if he was weak right now, that didn't mean he was just going to stand there and let this guy try and attack his friends...or were they more like family at this point? He pushed the others back a little once the fight started, it wasn't like he had the strength to pull Wyatt off.

Delta was walking with the guard on the way to the lunch area when he faintly picked up the sound of a commotion. Now that he had slept for a good while he was in a much better mood and didn't feel like a zombie. Since he also didn't eat breakfast he was starving and he also wanted to be with the others again. As they got closer, he suddenly heard a fight going on and started to run to the lunch area, reaching it only to find Wyatt and a Marine in a fight. He glared and clenched his fists, Wyatt would never get a serious fight like this unless he needed to. Something had happened while he was away and Wyatt was protecting everyone when it should have been Delta.

Not wasting another second, Delta rushed over and separated the two, and took Wyatt's place. Only this time he pinned the marine to the floor and held him down, glaring at the marine and growling loud enough that it could be heard by those who were close enough and watching. "Who do you think you are attacking a member of my pack!? When you attack one of them you mess with me!! Give me a reason for your attack before I fling you over the wall!!" Delta snapped at the marine, he had to keep his anger in check less he wants a repeat of this morning.

Delta seemed to make his ice-cold glare even more intense as the marine attempted to apologize and get away, he wasn't going to let him try and get away. So he tightened his grip on the marine, not enough to hurt him just enough to keep him still. "Try and attack or insult ANY of my packmates again. And I'll show you what we're capable of. That's a promise." Delta said in his rare cold calm voice, usually, he yelled but his friends knew he was serious when he talked like this. He lifted his head and looked at the crowd that had gathered "That goes for all of you. We were being quiet, but it seems I have to get our voice out." Delta let the marine go and stood up and went over to Wyatt and put his hand on his shoulder, silently telling him to calm. "Don't underestimate our strength. We're only basically here to make things easier." He finished talking and finally led them to the table, where their food was already waiting for them.

Emerald opened her eyes when she picked up Delta's scent, she saw how he pushed Wyatt back and took Wyatt's place in the fight. Quickly, she latched onto Wyatt's arm as a sad attempt to hold him back but to mostly calm him down so he didn't go back in the fight. She got chills when Delta stopped yelling and started to talk coldly, making her grip on Wyatt a little tigher. She almost wanted to back away when Delta placed his hand on Wyatt's shoulder but he knew it was just a slight gesture to get him to calm, after that they went and sat at their table in silence.

Sombra was so relieved Delta had appeared that he almost sank to the ground, but he didn't as he had to keep up an appearance. Though no one really said anything as Delta took control of the whole situation, He knew that this would affect how the marines would look at them but in all fairness, one of the marines started this fight first.
