"You coming or not, Jonah?" she teased. Jonah couldn't help but chuckle and nod, following her to where her father and mother trained. "So... where are you taking me Dove? We're not exactly hunting, are we?" Jonah asked her. Dove grinned as she continued walking, eventually stopping at the destination. Jonah looked around, not noticing anything special about the area. "I don't get it... nothing about this place looks special to me." He said, confused as to why Dove brought him here out of all places.

" Its not special... but this was where my mother trained Mikael before they started a family. " Dove explained " I know its covered in snow.... but wait till spring and fall. it looks fabulous!"

Dove walked to the top of the hill and sat down, trying to think of what else to say to him " Just so you are aware... my sister can be a pain in the tail, so dont go near her. She''s in punishment mode for dating a Lightbringer." her eyes then fell on him when he sat down beside her. " she loves breakign the rules... as for me... not so much"

Jonah was surprised when he heard that Dove's sister star was dating a Lightbringer. Wow that must not have been fun to think about. Jonah nodded his head as he mentally noted about what Dove said about Star and about where they were. "Oh... so this is where your mother and father trained before they started a family?" Jonah looked around, but the snow made it hard for him to appreciate the scenery. "I'll take your word for it that this place normally looks fabulous. So... why did you bring me out here by myself Dove?" He said, looking at her.

" yeah. it was. she trained his tail for hours" Dove chuckled " Just you wait til this are is filled with flowers."

She turned her head and looked at him " Im so sorry about your parents, Jonah. I.. my pack wouldnt ever hurt anyone. I promise you that. except for my biological father, Lilac. He's a Lightbringer.

Jonah stopped for a brief moment upon hearing that someone outside of the pack was Dove's father. "Wait, Mikael isn't your biological father? I thought he and your mother Em were mates." Jonah tilted his head slightly at her, confused that Clay left out that interesting detail when he went over the pack. "Your biological father was a Lightbringer? That's... interesting." Jonah knew he had to be careful with his words when talking about Dove's family situation.

Dove turned away " Yes, Lilac is my bilogical father. A really evil one to be honest with you. I dont want to get into the details about all that, but yeah... my mother left him for Mikael. Someone who cares about her for who she is. "

After awahile though, she looked back at him and smiled " Its just... my past hasnt been a happy one until my mom, sister and I moved here. Been happy ever since. Now my sister is dating at Lightbringer, things kinda changed for her... she cant go without clay on her tail."

Jonah frowned upon hearing that Dove's biological father was evil, to the point where Em left him for Mikael. As for the part about Star dating a Lightbringer and being punished by way of Clay following her, he wasn't surprised. "I'll be honest, if I was the Alpha, I would've given her a harsher punishment for dating a Lightbringer. But, it's Hunter's decision and he decided, so I won't go into any more detail about it. However, I apologize for how Lilac treated you, Dove. He must've been very unkind to you three if Em left him behind." Jonah couldn't help but look away from Dove, feeling out of his place that he was talking to her about something that he knew nothing about. Hoping to change the subject, Jonah took a breath and looked at her again. "So... why did you ask for me to come to your pack Dove? I was just a loner, and yet you asked me if I could join the pack."

" a harsher punishment? What would you mean by that, Jonah?" Dove asked with a chuckle " Not that you wouldnt be a wonderful alpha and all" then she said "I mean... it wouldnt hurt to have someone look after the pus here... my moms having hers soon and Daria, Hunters mate, is having hers.. " she puased for a few seconds before continuing " I... dont know either, Jonah.. but its gonna be worth it"

At first, Jonah wasn't very satisfied with the answer that Dove game him, but eventually he just shook it off and laughed a bit. "You're definitely an interesting one Dove, I'll give you that." Jonah stood up and walked around the area. "Being an alpha... that would be nice, however I don't think that's going to happen for some time." Jonah continued to explore the are, before walking back to Dove. "If the pups do become a handful, let me know and I'll help out. I like helping out with pups and playing with them. I guess, more than anything else, I'll need that experience if I ever become a father myself." Jonah stretched before turning to Dove. "Not that I'm getting bored by taking to you, but I'm in the mood for doing something fun. Got any ideas?"
