Emery nodded a little, there was atleast some comfort in knowing where they were going. She found herself automatically sticking a little closer to Delta as they moved towards the truck. Feeling a bit safer that way and also simply out of habit. Liri glanced over at Sombra when he joined her and spoke. Reminding her to actually breath properly. It had been a while since she had been this tense and the feeling frustrated her. She slowed her breathing, staying beside Sombra helped eased some of her tension. She wasn't sure why, but wasn't going to question it and just near to him for now. |

Delta didn't notice Emery sticking close to his side until he looked down to fix the shirt he was wearing. He sighed slightly and helped her up into the back of the truck and into a seat next to him when they got to the truck. Delta honestly didn't mind this new habit of theirs, if Emery felt safe being close to him then he would make sure that she was protected. Along with everyone else of course, he was just playing slight favorites.
Once he was sure that Liri's tension was easing up, Sombra walked with her to truck. He made a not to himself to make sure to watch her in case Liri to be eased or reminded to take deep breaths again. He hopped into the truck after her, as well as helped Emerald and Wyatt too before sitting down next to Liri.
Emerald was helped into the truck by Sombra, and she didn't mind that. She just quickly found her seat, which was next to Emery and waited for Wyatt to sit. As soon as they were all seated, the truck started to head to the building where the training was going to take place. |

Emery thanked Delta quietly when he helped her into the truck, relaxing best as she could in the seat while everyone got in and settled. She didn't really know what they'd be doing and how training would work, but hopefully it would go smoothly. Atleast they would have something.to focus on. Liri managed to stop thinking about things that stressed her out as the truck started move, letting herself instead watch the scenery they drove past. It all caught her curiousity. This was an entirely new world and she had always been rather adventurous when it came to being outdoors. Having been stuck inside of a building for so long hadn't helped that very much. Wyatt sat down comfortably, seemingly quite unbothered by it all. And he'd remain that way until he had something definite that could bother him. In his opinion, there was enough worrying in the world, so he wasn't going to add to it by worrying things he couldn't yet do anything about. |

It wasn't long before they arrived at a somewhat ruined but sturdy looking building after 15 minutes of driving. Sargent Hannes got out of the truck and headed over to the dog handlers while the guards helped the group of six out of the back of the truck. "Once they're all ready, introduce yourself and dog. I will explain the excerise" Hannes said as he watched the small group approach them.
Delta squinted his eyes as the sun shined brightly when he hopped out of the truck. It his eyes a few moments to adjust to the new light before he was alright and helped Emery out of truck, looking around at the very alive and a little loud forest. "This is somewhat new" He said to himself, he remembered hearing the forest sounds faintly through his window but out here he could hear it clearly. |

"Yes, sir" the one handler answered. The three of them had been waiting for a while, their dogs restless and bored. Their whining had seemed to only increase when the truck finally appeared and the six kids stepped out. The young newcomers hadn't been introduced to any of the marines since they had arrived the day before and the group of handlers were going to be the first to meet them up close. Aswell as the dogs, two German shepherds and one belgian malinois. The group of handlers were made up of Vince, a older and more experienced handler, then Sam and Raegen, both a bit younger. Emery took a deep breath as she was helped out of the truck. "Wow.." she said softly, looking about the area. She didn't remember forests being this alive. Then again, all of their senses had improved since being turned. Even Liri forgot about being tense for a moment as the new sounds and smells hit her. It was alot to take in and at that moment, taking off to explore and run sounded much more pleasant than having to focus on training. |

Sombra listened to the forest around him when he stepped out of the truck, closing his eyes to better listen. Somewhere nearby he could hear a stream or a river, a flock of birds singing, and some geese who were somewhat nearby. Only opening his eyes when Delta nudged his shoulder, "Out of space land buddy" Delta said to him before walking over to the Sargent and the dogs. Sombra sighed and walked over with everyone as well.
After he had his time in day dream land for a few seconds, Delta turned his attention back to where they were. Seeing as Sombra was the only one with his eyes closed, he nudged them and then walked over the dog handlers and Sargent. The dogs didn't seem to want to bark at them anymore which was good.
Emerald looked around when she saw a bluejay flying by when she got out of the truck. She was somewhat was an expert when it came to identifying birds, since when she was little she had a book full of everything about birds. Of course she didn't have it now, but she had read it so many times she memerized it. She followed everyone as they headed towards the dogs, while she would prefer bird watching, they had to do training of course. |

Liri reluctantly drew herself away from peacefulness of the forest and back to what they were here to do. Following after Delta with the others. There was so much more she'd rather be doing, but it would have to wait. Maybe one day they would get to have some more freedom than they did now. She warily looked towards the group of three handlers with their dogs. The dogs weren't barking, but they seemed a bit restless and uneasy. She couldn't really blame them. It had to be confusing for the dogs. Wyatt sighed and moved with group, for the first time actually paying attention to the handlers aswell as the old building that stood a little ways away. Making him rather curious what form of training they'd be doing today. And how it would go. |

"This is how your first training session will go." Sargent Hannes said and gestured to the handlers, "As you see there are 3 dogs and respectivly 3 handlers, you six will be getting into pairs of two and be assigned to guard one of the handlers to guard them while the dogs go through to building to find bombs and guns." He said to them.
"There are dummies that represent the enemy, they will be popping up anywhere at anytime to try and 'stop' the dogs from finding the bomb and drugs. You were all trained in firearms so shooting the dummies should be easy. Keeping them both safe." Sargent Hannes then looked at the handlers. "You can introduce yourselves now" |

"I'm Vince, this is Sam and Raegen" the older handler introduced, gesturing to each, "we're gonna let each dog come forwards to check you out so they know who you are." He motioned for Raegen to introduce her dog first. She took a few steps forwards, letting the dog go ahead on the leash. The German shepherd approached the group cautiously, going to the least threatening looking ones first. And when no harm was done, there was even a slight wag of the tail before the handler stepped back with the dog. Next was Sam and his young malinois, they did the same with fairly the same results, the pup just responded with a little more excitement. And last was Vincent and his German shepherd. Except this dog stopped within a few strides of the group and started growling quietly. |

Sombra was happy that everything seemed to be going well, he made sure not to move much when the first dogs sniffed him. He also made sure to stay quiet, since he felt that speaking would just startle the dogs more instead of helping the dogs get used to him. Sombra was a little surprised when the last dog started to growl at them quietly looking over at Delta he spoke, "I think you have to apologize for growling at them last night" He said to Delta.
Delta just seemed unbothered by the dogs, he had his arms crossed but he made sure that he looked at least approachable. He looked over at Sombra when he spoke as the last dog stopped and growled quietly at them, "How do I even apologize in dog?" Delta answered back confused "And they bothered me last night first, I just wanted some sleep" |
