I glare at the speaker. Is that a real glare, it's a more of how dare you. "I can pay. I would not be here I couldn't pay." I grumble. I start fishing through my pockets for my wallet. |

I'm humble something under my breath but still take the drink. I speak up a little to say "Thanks..." So I was right. This guy is the owner. Not entirely sure what to do with that information now. I shove my wallet back in my pocket. One in the front so I can make sure no one steals it. I am slightly protective of the black leather rectangle. |

I take a sip of the drink and find it actually not bad. "I am not allowed a job." I say. "My BOYFRIEND doesn't want more than one set of income." I say, laying as much importance on that word as possible. "Something about needing the control." |
