Rouge lips pursed when the man in front of her won't stop talking about their dating era. Her eyes locked hard on him while she suppressed the urge to groan. That was until she felt Evie scoot closer to the point their sides squished together. Her heart started to increase its beat, only for it to get worse when she felt Evie's hand on her thigh. The area where the werewolf was touching prickled in excitement, feeling herself squirming in the spot. Her eyes never left Lewis, but her focus was on the other person next to her. Her bodyguard was acting rather mischievous, and she's doing it now of all things. Her leg that she was touching is shaking, unsure if it should pull away or remain firm. "What do you want from me?" She asked, the aggressive tone had gotten worse as she hated looking at the man across from her and suppressing herself from losing control. Rouge sharply inhaled as Evie settled her head onto her shoulder, then left soft kisses against her skin. Rouge chewed the inside of her cheeks, forcing her feelings into the trenches to keep her unbothered facade. "Nothing in particular, just wanting to see your lovely face." He winked at her, making Rouge scoff in disbelief. Even though the werewolf's actions was making the situation worse from her, Rouge didn't call her out or pull away. Could it be that she likes it? Rouge's blushing returned but at a lighter intensity. Her eyes widen in disbelief when the kisses went up to her neck, wiggling even more when the prickly sensation reached to her neck. Oh. That only gotten worse when the kissing shifted to nibbles, making the vampire arch her back slightly. Her mouth opens to a silent gasp, noticing the confusion on Lewis' face. "Ah," she says with a forced, "random spine spill. Guess your presence is unwelcoming to my soul." Attempting to make everything seem normal and that nothing frisky was going on. Rouge felt her hand dip further into her thighs, making her close her legs together. She stealthily moved her hand under the table, firmly gripping the woman's wrist. Oddly, Rouge didn't try to remove the hand, she left it there. Her fingers intertwined with Evie's, giving it a soft squeeze. She peeks I'm Evie's direction, noticing the upset expression on her face. Seeming to catch on to what she was doing. The vampire nodded her head, frowning as well then tilts her head in Lewis' direction. When Evie brought up about them meeting later, Rouge suppressed a smirk in satisfaction. Lewis glared in the werewolf's direction, disliking the fact she's ordering him to leave. He leaned forward even more, his body halfway over the table. "Mind yourself, werewolf." His eyes flashing for a split second, anger stimulating in his voice. The corner of Rouge's lips twitched before she slammed a fist on the table, causing small cracks to appear. Distracted by Lewis as she didn't realize their conjoined hands went up even further up her thigh. She was lucky that she held back most of her strength, or else the table would've split into two. The people in the restaurant gazed at them, confused yet intrigued as to what's going on. Their gaze darting away when Rouge stared daggers at them, silently telling them to mind their business. Rouge moved her head to face her ex, her eyelids narrowing. "You better refrain on insulting my bodyguard further, Lewis." Her anger only grew after he dared to speak against Evie, the two locking eyes as they try to dominate the other. Without further conversation, Lewis removed himself from the seat in front of them, then walks over to Aceline's side. He pressed a light kiss against her cheek, a culture tradition that his homeland does. "See you around, Aceline." He left the restaurant soon after, the unknowing tense air becoming lighter. Rouge sighed, using her free hand to pinch the bridge of her nose. Only for her eyes to shuffle to Evie, a heavy frown on her face. "What the Hell was that? Are you trying to get us caught?" She pauses her future rant when she noticed jealously heavy in the werewolf's eyes, making Rouge sigh and turn away. "Nevermind." Her fingers raked through her tussled hair, closing her eyes to think. When the waiter arrived with their drinks and food. He placed the cups of water and wine first, then the plate of food. "I didn't want to approach considering the warfare that happened," he joked, making Rouge chuckle before leaving to serve another table. On the plate was creamy tuscan chicken, Rouge's many favorite meals. "You have the first bite." Pushing the plate with two forks towards Evie, then grabbed her wine and took a prolonged sip. Evie only continued to grow more and more irritated as Lewis continued to speak. Rouge really didn't have good taste in men, that's for sure. She glanced under the table whenever she felt a hand around her wrist, fully expecting for her hand to be removed. Much to her surprise, Rouge laced their fingers together. Upon being responded to, her expression turned to one of anger. She was about to speak up, but quickly reminded herself that this wasn't her fight and Rouge could handle it on her own. Evie jumped slightly as the vampire slammed a fist down on the table, obviously pissed. She stared at the small cracks in the table, an uneasy feeling forming in her stomach. She truly didn't know what Rouge was capable of strength wise, and that just confirmed it. Evie didn't know what she was getting herself into at all whenever she was first told that she had to go act as a bodyguard for Rouge. She had an intense hatred for vampires and couldn't even imagine being in the presence of one, yet now here she was, all jealous and bothered. The uneasy feeling in her stomach was quickly replaced by something positive as she realized how defensive Rouge was being over her. She gently ran her thumb over the skin on the vampire's hand as a small act of comfort for them both. Mainly for herself, though. She hadn't even realized Lewis had got up until she saw him walking away, thankfully. Evie flicked her gaze over to Rouge, and then down to their interlaced hands. Upon being confronted, she just gave a sweet smile. Despite the vampire saying nevermind, she decided to give a response anyways. "I don't like sharing." Evie gave the vague, simple reply. Her words could have many meanings, leaving Rouge to interpret one of them. She used her free hand to absentmindedly twirl one of her curls around her finger, then stretch it straight and watch it bounce back into place. It was something she did quite often for a distraction or simply for the fun of it. As the waiter arrived again, she didn't look up, her gaze fixated on her spot where Rouge's ex was moments ago. Again, a flash of anger crossed her features before she looked back towards Rouge. Her gaze immediately softened. Evie stared at the food on the plate now on the table with a questionable look on her face. Eating had been a struggle for her ever since she had left Austria. Obviously, her tastebuds were equipped to German and Austrian foods so she struggled to adjust to the change. She absolutely hated almost every single food she ate here, but it's not like she has much of a choice. This food obviously is from a different country, but that didn't change anything. Evie picked up one of the forks and cut herself a small piece of chicken off, giving it a sniff before she ate it. Her other hand never left Rouge's thigh, and she still used her thumb to gingerly rub the vampire's hand. Her nose scrunched slightly in disgust as she took in the flavors of the chicken. She couldn't decide if she hated it or found it acceptable. Hesitantly, she ate another piece, giving the same reaction. Evie gently pushed the plate back towards Rouge, deciding that it was tolerable. Not good, not bad, just tolerable. Evie began to wonder if Rouge would have the same reaction to the food in Austria. It definitely wasn't made to everyone's liking and some things were pretty questionable. The more she thought, the more off topic her mind got. Her heart dropped as she finally realized Rouge would have to meet her family. Her father hates vampires and would never ever even think about liking one, and he instilled this thinking into her siblings. If it worked on her at one point, it definitely worked on them too. Oh, how she hated that man. How could she have been so judgmental without having ever met a vampire? That wasn't the way she was raised. Her mother had taught her to be a peaceful person and only hate for good reason. Slowly, she turned her head towards Rouge. "Are you sure you want to go to Austria? My family is.. not too accepting of vampires." She spoke hesitantly with a concerned tone. The last thing Evie wanted was for Rouge to be judged by them. Or, well, judged by her father. She still frequently talked to her siblings and let them know that he was completely wrong. Whether or not they felt the same, she wasn't sure. Evie cast a very troubled glance out the window, noticing a small flash of reddish-orange dart by. It was a small figure that couldn't exactly be made out from where she was sitting. It was probably a stray dog or something like that. Evie found herself gently pressing the tips of her nails into the skin of her palms, causing little oddly shaped marks to appear. She became hyper aware of every little feeling in her body, from the stinging of her lip to the feeling of the seams of her socks pressing against her foot. She brought her hand up to her lip, wincing as she ran her hand over the cut. Of course, her lips were still slightly swollen to make matters worse.

When the two seemed to calm down, Rouge let out a sigh of relief. She closed her eyes, brushed her hair back, and starts talking under her breath. Her hand still holding onto Evie's while her legs were crossed together loosely. She picked at the shared plate, devouring the chicken piece by piece. Human food tasted like dust to her, having little to no flavor. As for wine. That's a different story. She ate more before pushing what little was left towards Evie, then let go of her hand. "I don't like sharing what's precious to me either." She replied plainly, folding her hands into her lap. Rouge licked the sauce off her lips, her eyes shifting to the window. She went quiet, grabbed her glass, and sipped it. She kept going until none was left of either drink or meal before pulling out her wallet. She pulls out $50 to pay for the meal and drink, then pulls out $20 for the tip. "I have little care what your family thinks about me." She turns her body to face the werewolf, a cocky smile spreading on her lips. "Vampires hate werewolves as much as they hate us." Rouge throws in a wink before standing up, taking her bodyguard's wrist, and pulling her along. "To make you feel better, you can meet your family alone while I stay at a hotel. Just call me to let me know if you want to be picked up." Kissing Evie's knuckles, purposely extending the kiss. "I'll do anything for you, mein liebling." (My darling.) Rouge pulls away, her smile turning to a devious grin as she left the restaurant. Letting the werewolf know that she understood what she said in the car while they were arriving in the town. However, the vampire came to a halt at her car door and proceeds to twirl her car keys around her index finger. She turns on her heels, facing Evie with a smile on her face, "How about we take a walk around town? See what's new?" Her brows raised on her forehead, "If we see Lewis, I'll let you punch him." Rouge throws in a wink before laughing. [It's deathly short. Kill me now. :,)] Edited at March 19, 2023 09:29 PM by Tamesis

Evie followed along behind Rouge as she was pulled up, matching the pace but never moving to walk next to Rouge. "That wouldn't be fun. I don't want to be stuck with only them." She frowned, imagining how horrible it would be to have to deal with them with no support whatsoever. A shudder ran through her body as Rouge kissed her knuckles, and her eyes widened slightly. It took her a minute to register whst Rouge had said, and the fact it was in German. She slowed her pace, almost to a complete stop, and looked at Rouge with a horrified expression. Rouge knew what she said earlier, she knew German and could speak it. "You.. know German." It was more of a statement, not a question. Shock was evident in her voice as she spoke. Evie trailed closely behind Rouge as they walked out to the car, a pink tint covering her cheeks. It only worsened whenever the vampire suddenly stopped and turned to face her, causing Evie to nearly run into her. She took a step back, looking up at Rouge with a look of confusion. "Wow, that's an honor I don't deserve." She snickered, cracking her knuckles loudly in a mocking way. She suddenly perked up and grabbed Rouge by the hand, walking off at a brisk place. "There's this place we passed by earlier. I don't know what it is, but I want to go." Evie simply stated, letting go of the vampire whenever they reached the sidewalk. The flash of orange she saw earlier darted across the concrete and into an alleyway, but it was moving far too fast for her to be able to see it. She curiously peered down the alley as they passed, but it wasn't there anymore. Oh well. She continued on, speeding up whenever the store came into view. It was a little vintage jewelry store, and in the window was a mannequin with the most beautiful jewelry and vibrant gemstones she had ever seen. Evie paused to peer into the window before moving to the door, holding it open for Rouge before she went in. Almost immediately, her eyes landed on a necklace. It was gothic themed with a silver and black outlined pendant, etched with floral designs. In the pendant was a dark, blood red gem that she assumed was garnet. Evie held the necklace in her hand, examining the intricate floral etching. It would definitely stand out against the rest of her necklaces, which were varied in design and shades of silver but were nothing too unique. The prettiest one she owns is the tarot card one, which belonged to her mother before her and was given as a gift. It was never taken off, and that showed. The necklace was worn and had scratches on it, yet she still refused to take it off. Evie ran her thumb over the gem of the pendant, staring at her own reflection through it. She clasped the necklace in her hand and picked another one up. This one was plain silver, circular in shape. It had a white flower encased in the center of it, somehow still intact after god knows how many years of being in existence. Evie put it back down, staring at the pendant in her palm. Should she really get it? She didn't know how expensive it was, and she especially didn't need another necklace. The price wasn't exactly an issue, but still. She was more.. conservative with her money, oddly enough. Being from a well known royal family, obviously she's disgustingly rich. But that didn't mean too much to her. Evie furrowed her brows in thought as she stared at the necklace, absentmindedly running her thumb over the smooth garnet. Decisions are never easy for her to make. She's incredibly decisive and half of the time she can't even decide what side to sleep on. Evie couldn't decide on something to save her life, which often results in her making the wrong choice and regretting it later on. Like this one time, after an hour of trying to decide if she should buy a black sweater or the brown one, she finally decided on the black one. Evie later realized it was fairly ugly and the brown one was definitely the right move. But whenever she went back to get the brown one, it was gone. It's incredibly silly but her heart was crushed, and she refused to wear the black sweater. Of course, that was up until a few months ago when she chose to start wearing it. It's the one she has on now, actually. Evie shifted her gaze to the sleeves of her sweater, a twinge of regret tugging at her. Finally, she put the necklace down and turned away before she could change her mind. (you're all good!! don't worry about it<3)

Rouge couldn't help but snicker upon seeing the bashful horror on Evie's face. Her eyes fixated on her darling werewolf, her arms crossing together as she tilted her head to the side. She allowed Evie a moment of silence to process what she said to her in German. Rouge threw in a wink before replying, "Indeed. I'm a master of languages darling. If you live as long as I have, then you have enough time to study other people's languages." She rolled her eyes, a scoff leaving her and she uncrossed her arms. She pointed a finger at Evie, "Don't be calling me grandma or anything that brings out my age. I'll have to ground you if you do," she earnestly added, a grin on her face while she settled her hands on her hips. Rouge hummed a singular note before responding, "I don't mind if you keep calling me that." Her cheeks flushed while her golden audits glimmered, "I found it to be. . .cute." Her blushing faltered when Evie cracked her knuckles, amusement filling the entire of her body. "A werewolf versus a vampire?" She chuckles, her laughter soothing to one's soul and mind. "How cliche. Although," her eyes fell to Evie's lips, Rouge aimlessly trailed her tongue over her own, "I find it to be exciting." She crossed her arms, her elbow propped over the arm that was wrapped around her side. Her fingers pressed to her lips, seeming to focus on the other woman's lips. "I'll be rooting for my knight in shining armor. If you win," her tone sultry with each word that slipped out, the vampire leaning forward so her lips are close to Evie's ear, "I'll give you a special kind of reward." She lightly teased, yet something in her words sounds like she was serious as well. Rouge pulled back, her brows raised while her smile grew. "Sound good enough?" Rouge's face redden when Evie grabbed her by the wrist, the woman blinking a few times in confusion and embarrassment. When Evie mentioned a place she wanted to check out, Rouge couldn't help but smile. "I'll be obliged to accompany you." She followed in behind the werewolf, feeling Evie's grip gone when they hit the sidewalk, Rouge felt herself frown. Instinctively, she grabbed Evie's hand, properly this time, her hands holding onto the other's tightly. Seemingly afraid to let go of such a priceless woman. Rouge kept her pace steady, wanting to keep each other close while giving Evie enough space to lead. Her stomach fluttered and she felt her body squirm in excitement. Rouge was on Cloud 9 at this moment, and she sees little to no reason to leave it. When her bodyguard increase her walking speed, so did Rouge. Her eyes were glued to the back of Eve's head. Well. Neck. When Rouge finally looked up, they were outside a vintage jewelry store, making Rouge curious. She peeks through the window, crouching slightly with her hands on her knees to take a look at the window display. Noticing that Evie was doing the same. She turned her head in Evie's direction when she heard her walk away to the door of the store. Rouge bit her bottom lip as she held the door open for her. Rouge straightens herself before strolling into the store, casting a thankful glance in the werewolf's direction. She gazed away to check out the place from the inside, her hands slipping into her pocket as she takes a walk around the store. She came to a halt to the ring cases, leaning on the glass counter as she stares down to look at the beautiful jewelry. Her eyes scanned each one, guessing the quality, price, and rarity. Finally, her eyes fell comfortably onto a silver ring with moon-like designs etched within them. In the center of the wonderful carved ring was what Rouge believed to be an emerald. The gem reflected the light wonderfully, with Rouge seemingly hypnotized by its seemingly unnatural qualities. Rouge shifted her focus to Evie who was checking out a necklace, noticing how her face falter and her eyes riddled with hesitation. She shuffled her feet anxiously before turning back to the ring, then back over to Evie. Her eyes settled on the werewolf's comfortable, her eyes full of warmth and adoration. Ugh. Rouge hopes the woman is too busy with the necklace to notice her loving stares. It would be embarrassing. Speaking of jewelry, the ring reminds her so much of the woman inches away from her, and she felt a pull in the back of her head, an inner voice that was telling her to get it. She gazed over to Evie, wanting to tell her what she found, but paused. Observing her checking out a necklace for a few minutes before putting it back, her face riddled with regret. Rouge clicks the roof of her mouth with her tongue, before approaching one of the workers. "I would like to pick out two pieces of jewelry for me and my friend there." She internally facepalmed herself for calling Evie her friend, her mind wanting her to label the other woman her girlfriend. The worker nods their head, following Rouge to display shelves. She grabbed the ring Rouge wanted, then approached the case where the necklace was settled on. The worker went to the back of the register, and Rouge sheepishly approached Evie. A faint blush on her cheeks, her eyes to the floor to hide the embarrassment lingering within her gaze. "I'm buying it for you. I don't want to hear any objects. . .alright?" She mumbled, her eyes dragging to the shorter woman, a light smile on her face. Edited at March 25, 2023 05:02 PM by Tamesis

Evie hummed quietly to herself as she moved around the store, checking out the other pieces of jewelry. They were all so beautiful and unique in their own way. Her head snapped back towards the door as she heard the little bell on the door ding, signaling that someone had come in. She eyed them carefully for a moment, taking in every little feature. It was a woman, late 20s probably. She wore designer clothing and carried some sort of fancy bag. Her hair was a beautiful auburn color, her eyes a stormy blue color. Evie couldn't help but admire her for a moment before she shook her head, moving to the next piece of jewelry. There was no need to obsess over some beautiful stranger when the literal love of her life stood on the other side of the store. Evie cast a glance over to Rouge, her gaze lingering for a moment too long. She couldn't believe the hold that the vampire had on her. It was so wrong, but she enjoyed it. Her mind shifted back to their moment and the car, and a wave of sudden embarrassment washed over her. Why did she let it happen? Why did she contribute to it? Evie was having an extreme amount of mixed emotions, causing all of her thoughts to swirl together into one giant mess. She was beginning to feel queasy, and there was a pit growing in her stomach. The pit continued to grow until it was almost painful, and her eyes widened for a split second. No, not here. Evie was visibly calm, but inside, she was freaking out and screaming. The intensity of her emotions triggered the wolf inside of her, and was about to cause a shift. While she couldn't control whenever it happened, she did know intensive emotions triggered it. Evie panickedly looked around the little store, her eyes finally settling on Rouge again. In an instant, the growing sensation throughout her body ceased and was replaced with an oddly warm feeling. Huh, that was something new. Prior to whatever just happened, she had never been able to prevent her shifts. Evie was now staring at Rouge with a loving expression, a full head over heels look. She only looked away whenever she felt the presence inches away from her. The woman from earlier. The woman was looking at a perfectly polished pearl bracelet that seemed to shimmer in the reflection of the light. Evie moved away, finding herself aimlessly browsing next to the garnet necklace again. She didn't look at it, firm in her decision to not get it. Every now and then she snuck a glance at Rouge, who was looking at a ring now. She was still a little startled from her almost shift, but had mostly calmed herself now. Evie perked her head up when she heard Rouge speak to the worker, a surprised expression crossing her face as she watched the worker take the ring Rouge was looking at, and then the necklace she had been looking at. Evie looked up at Rouge with a raised brow whenever she approached. She could feel butterflies in her stomach, begging to be set free through words of affection. Instead of going against what Rouge said and objecting to it, she instead smiled at the vampire. Evie pulled her into a hug, her arms wrapped around Rouge's midsection, her hands rested on her lower back. She stood on her toes for a moment and placed a soft, sweet kiss to Rouge's cheek before she stood flat again. Her head was now rested against Rouge's chest, her hands lightly stroking the woman's lower back. Evie breathed in Rouge's scent once more and pulled away, a smile on her face. "Thank you, liebe."(love) The look on her face displayed nothing but pure love, her tone gentle and genuine. She had really fallen for Rouge, and there was nothing she could do about it. She would never love someone in the way that she loves Rouge, she decided. Nobody is worthy enough. Evie gazed up at the vampire lovingly, not even minding how open she's being about her feelings. What was the point in hiding them, anyways? It's not like it's a secret anymore. While she's not entirely sure if Rouge feels the same way, she doesn't mind. Evie turned slightly to look out the windows of the store, racking her brain to try and remember if there was any other place she saw that seemed remotely interesting. There wasn't anything she could think of, other than the animal shelter. But she would break down crying and beg Rouge to bring home every single cat there, so that was a hard no. Evie decided she'd just let Rouge do whatever she pleased, considering the fact that the vampire actually lived here and knew her way around.

Rouge smiled warmly, her smile reaching her eyes that shine with glee. The woman's heart was beating faster and faster the more Evie moved closer to her. With each inch removed between them, her cheeks became redder and redder. She covered half of her face with a hand when she was centimeters away from her. Their bodies brushing against each other was making her go crazy. It only worsened when she saw what appeared on the werewolf's face. A smile. A grin of adoration. One out of love. The entirety of her face grew red, Rouge lowering her hand to her side as Evie embraced her into a hug. When their bodies completely touched, she felt electricity course through her. Rouge shuddered, hitching her breath. Rouge's back arched slightly when she felt Evie's hand was lingering on them, making the vampire's pupils dilate. Rouge witness Evie stand on her toes to give her cheek a simple kiss, and that alone nearly made her knees buckle. When Evie's head settled on her chest, Rouge bit her bottom lip. She squirmed when Evie's hands started moving. Rouge's hands went to dangle loosely on Evie's waist, pulling her even closer. She pressed her lips on the top of head, only pulling away when her bodyguard did. Rouge's face altered to a disappointed frown. Wanting more affection from her darling werewolf than a simple kiss and hug. She internally shunned herself from demanding more without consulting with Evie about it first. Already she was being too stingy with the limited physical contact. Her mind dragging back to reality when Evie said her thanks with the additional lovey nickname. "You're welcome, puppy." She reached a hand over to grab Evie by the waist when she heard someone clear, her eyes sharp as she searched for the person who dared to interrupt their moment. Realizing it was the worker, she calmed down slightly, but was still on edge. "Will you be using credit or debit?" She asked, Rouge gently pulling Evie behind her to the counter. The vampire hesitantly let's go of Evie to pull out her credit card, and replying with a hardened, "Credit." Still angry at the worker who butted her way into their special moment. The worker takes the card and swipes it, placing the two pieces of jewelry into a simple brown paper bag with the printed receipt. Rouge took back her card and placed it back into her wallet. She peers down to Evie, smilingly affectionately at her. "Shall we walk the town more?" She grabbed the bag and rolled it up by the opening to close it. Rouge increased her place slightly, wanting to be the one to hold the door this time. When Evie stepped out the store, she was quick to follow and matched the others pace to be able to walk alongside her. Rouge wrapped an arm around Evie's shoulders, tugging her close so their sides were touching. ━━━━━ • ஜ • ❈ • ஜ • ━━━━━ Rouge and Evie returned home late at night from their weird day out. While returning to her car, they encountered a random man who asked for some. . .questionable things. She was close to pummeling him right then and there, but Evie stepped in to cease her attempts. Other than that, it was peaceful, relaxing even. Her undead life became better when the werewolf entered it and she was eternally grateful. Rouge was in her bedroom and was getting ready for bed. She tossed the clothes she wore in the morning into the dirty clothes to be cleaned for another time. Currently, she was wearing a set of red undergarments, with a silken red and black robe over it. She tied the lace around her waist, her gaze focused on the empty bed. She frowned on how empty it was, hating the fact she had to sleep alone once more. In utter defeat, she turned off the bedroom light and climbed into bed. She tucked herself under the covers, but sleep didn't came for her. Evie hummed to herself as she moved around her room, tidying things up. She had the overhead light turned off, but one side of the room was dimly lit by the fairy lights on the wall by her bed, and the small himalayan salt lamp on her nightstand. It was comfortable lighting, and she could still see somewhat well. She quietly made her way to her bathroom, squinting her eyes as she turned the light on. Clean clothes were laid on the bathroom counter, she had been putting off showering for a little while now. Evie carefully undressed herself, wincing as her hand brushed a cut she had obtained yesterday. Unfortunately, she was horribly clumsy as a wolf and ended up knocking herself with those horrific claws a few times. Evie had a relatively quick shower, with the majority of it just being her standing under the hot water and reminiscing on the events of the day. As she dressed herself, she paused to admire the tattoo running up her spine. It was arguably one of her favorites, and the most painful. She cried just 10 minutes into getting it, but she would never admit that. Her clothes were simple, an olive green lacy low cut crop top and her usual pair of shorts. The crop top was almost entirely backless, which she loved due to the fact she overheated easily. The entirety of her stomach and hips were exposed, as was her lacy black thong. It rested comfortably above her hips, as per usual. Evie muttered to herself as she turned the light off and made her way back to bed, sitting on the edge before she laid down. She stared up at the ceiling for awhile, knowing full well that tonight was going to be another sleepless night. Her hand rested on her bare stomach, tracing over a relatively large scar. Evie continued to stare at the ceiling until an idea popped into her head. She moved back to the edge of the bed, standing and making her way to her vanity. Evie stared at herself in the mirror, debating if she should cover herself up more. The final decision was not to, there was no point. She approached her door, inhaling softly before she opened it. She didn't bother to bring her phone, anyone who texted or called could wait. Evie crept quietly to Rouge's room, running her fingers through her wet curls. She hesitantly stood outside the door, relishing the cold air on her skin. Evie raised a hand to the door, giving a few knocks. She didn't wait for a response, it was only to let Rouge know she was there. She quietly opened the door, just in case the vampire was asleep. Upon seeing that Rouge was in bed but not asleep, she smiled slightly to herself. She leaned against the doorframe, her hands rested on her hips, fingers messing with the fabric of her shorts. "I can't sleep, as usual. Do you um.. want to watch a movie or something?" The tone of her voice was hesitant, as if she was scared Rouge was going to tell her to leave. Instead of just straight up asking if she could sleep with her for the night, Evie felt the need to make up some excuse. Plus, it did beat laying in her room alone for the night. She waited a moment before speaking again. "If you don't want to it's okay." Evie let out a yawn, using her hand to cover her mouth as she did so. She wasn't that tired, but it wouldn't take long for her to fall asleep next to Rouge. The effects the vampire had on her were odd, and vice versa. Earlier in the day whenever they were in the jewelry store, Evie couldn't help but wonder how Rouge felt towards her. Her gaze moved around the room, making out the shapes of everything there. She had no difficulty seeing at all, but it still took little effort. Again, Evie did not fully wait for a response from Rouge. She quietly shut the door with a soft click, moving to sit on the very edge of Rouge's bed. The bed they had shared the night prior. Evie wanted nothing more than to share the bed every night, really. It was the most energizing sleep she had in years and she longed to experience it every night.

Rouge sat up in bed when she heard knocking at her bedroom door, her eyes glued on it suspiciously. She was unsettled about it as she didn't hear footsteps approaching her door. The vampire was about to jump out of bed and yank the door open to figuring out who it was until Evie's voice called out to her. She sighed, rubbing her forehead in disgrace for being this jumpy. When Evie asked if she can watch a movie and sleep with her again, Rouge's stomach became fuzzy. "Yes," she immediately replied, slapping a hand over her mouth in embarrassment at her urgency. She cleared her throat, returning her composure to a moderate level, yet her excitement didn't settle. Hearing the other words that Evie spoke made her cringe in anguish. Not wanting to deny Evie in any way, knowing she'll beat herself up over it. So, she nodded her head with a loving smile while her eyes beckoned the werewolf. She watched her bodyguard yawn behind her hand, making her chuckle, "You won't be able to finish the movie at that rate." Rouge lightly teased, the smile never leaving her face. She sat up further to settle on her knees, her eyes surveying the other's figure meticulously. Unable to see what she was wearing, only the form of her figure. It's clear as day, well, night, that the vampire was in a trance. Night vision has its perks-especially when gazing at something so. . .breathtaking. When Evie settled on the edge of the bed, she scoffed in joking offense. "Why sitting away from me, puppy?" Impishly smirking now, her tone good-natured, "Afraid I'll bite you?" The manner in her words was highly flirtatious, and it was ever-increasing. Rouge crawled over to where the werewolf was settled, grabbing her side and pulling her closer. She placed teasing kisses along her neck for a minute before gently biting her, leaving a small mark on her neck. "You were right," she whispered before climbing out of bed to get her flatscreen TV remote. When she pressed the power button on the remote, the television lit up and illuminated some of the room. When she turned to face Evie, the smile on her face dropped, replaced by an appalled expression. Her eyes greedily trailed down the exposed parts of her body. Starting from the neck, grazing down to the stomach, and finally, her hips where her thong was settled. Rouge's face reddened, her eyes transfixed on the goddess's body. "I-I," for once, the vampire was at a loss for words. Unable to formulate a complete sentence. Unaware that she was blushing heavily. She forced her gaze away, breaking eye contact with Evie to stare at the TV. "What movie genre do you want to watch?" She inquired, a lump in her throat while her words flopped wildly. She hurries back to her bed, climbing under the covers. Rouge carelessly tossed her remote in the werewolf's direction, offering her a strained yet amorous smile. She's trying her hardest to focus on anything other than Evie, with her eyes gazing over her head to stare at the television. "I'm down for whatever." Finally, she locked eyes with Evie, that itching feeling only growing. Her mind is begging Evie to catch the hint of what she wants, which is most certainly her. Outer Rouge, however, was stiff as a board to refrain from further actions. Edited at March 26, 2023 10:23 PM by Tamesis

Evie rolled her eyes at Rouge's teasing comment, settling a hand on her knee. A confused expression crossed her features as she stared at Rouge, who seemed to be in some sort of a trance. Odd. Her confusion only worsened whenever Rouge had spoke again, and made her way over to where she sat. The confusion was immediately replaced with surprise as she felt a hand on her side, and lips on her neck. A noise of pleasure escaped her as the vampire gently bit her, and Evie instantly covered her mouth with her hand. Her eyes were wide as she gathered the courage to look at Rouge again. She was blushing intensely as she watched the woman got up out of bed, and her nails were dug into her knee. Evie couldn't even look at Rouge as the woman turned back around, and instead looked down at her lap. She brought a hand up to her neck, gingerly poking at the small mark Rouge left. She couldn't even respond when asked a question. Upon being tossed the remote, she caught it with one hand and eyed the vampire carefully. She noticed the look in Rouge's eyes, and immediately broke eye contact. She moved so that her back was completely turned towards Rouge so that she couldn't see how intense her blushing is. Evie crossed her legs and sat up perfectly straight, absentmindedly running one hand through her hair while she flicked through movies. Evie continued this until she saw something interesting. Some horror movie about exorcism and murder, how perfect. She hesitantly moved to lay under the covers with Rouge, only covering her legs. One hand was rested on her stomach, the other being used to rest her chin on. She had laid in a way that put space between them, but she quickly decided she didn't want that. She needed to get back at Rouge for that little stunt she had just pulled. In one swift movement, she moved her entire body so that her head was now rested on Rouge's chest, and her arms were wrapped loosely around the vampire's torso. In one ear, the only thing she could hear was the beating of Rouge's heart. At first, she was genuinely interested in the movie as it played. It quickly grew dull, though. She patiently waited for one of the scarier scenes to pop up, and she made her move. Evie acted as though she was genuinely startled, and moved her head so that it was now pressed against Rouge's collarbone. The tiredness she felt not too long ago was completely gone now, replaced with a strong feeling of desire. Slowly, she turned her head so that her lips were close to Rouge's ear. "Payback." She whispered in a sultry tone. Evie began to kiss Rouge's neck, softly at first. Soft kisses quickly turned into needy ones as she trailed them down to the woman's chest, stopping only when the fabric of the robe blocked her. Evie trailed her way back up again, this time with gentle bites. With each bite, it grew harsher to leave more visible marks. Any interest she had in the movie vanished. She pulled her head away to admire her work, a smirk forming on her features. Evie slightly pulled the collar of Rouge's robe down to expose more skin, and immediately began biting there too. They were harsh, but not to the point where it would hurt. She moved a hand to rest on the vampire's hip, pausing what she was doing to look at the television again. Boring. Evie finally decided she had done enough, for now at least. She just simply rested her head back down on Rouge's collarbone, exhaling softly onto her skin. She was torn on whether to take her actions further or not. Evie didn't want to push Rouge's boundaries, and since she didn't know what the woman was comfortable with, she stopped. Rouge's response to what she had done would tell her enough, she decided.
