Fenriz is many things, but good in stressful and surprising situations? That one is not in his description. He did react quickly though and being that he was so close to him he was able to grab him before he hit the floor. Fen's wings spread to balance himself as he held the other prince up as much as he could. He was strong enough to support him for now, but not for long. ~~~ "Ah, Luc, you picked the worst moment.." He mostly muttered to himself, as the other was out cold. The nickname slipped out and didn't even register to him. When the Angel prince's wings hit the floor with a thud, it attracted people to where they were and fortunately they knew more about what to do that he did. ~~~ "Oh, dear! What happened?" A woman with long white wings gasped and rushed over to help him. King Loki was there before long and the look on his face was anger, but Fen couldn't worry about that right now. He assumed that seeing his son nearly carrying another man bridal style was not something he expected to see. ~~~ "I.. He just fainted. I don't know." With the woman,s help he was able to adjust the way he was holding Lucian and support his weight fully, carrying him with much effort, but getting the job done. ~~~ "Okay, come on, Come with me." The woman hurried inside and then into the castle further, going up some stairs. Fen tried to focus on the task at hand rather than letting it get to his head. Carry him up the stairs. Oh my god how am I going to do this. ~~~ Regardless of wether he thought he was going to be able to do it or not, he made it to the top of the stairs and brought the unconcious angel into a bedroom, he guessed it was probably Lucian's room. He laid him on the bed and it was then that he realized how heavily he was breathing. A medic came in instantly, checking his vitals, and Fenriz sat on a chair in the room to catch his breath. Without a word, the medic hurried out, he guessed that it was to get something to help, but it left him and Lucian alone again and he shifted uncomfortably. What if something else happens? What if he stops breathing or something, I won't know what to do.. please wake up. Please be okay.

He lay in darkeness. "Lucian..." He shot up. Who said his name? "Lucian..." "Who's there?" He called out into the darkness. Suddenly, he was in a room, a very familliar room. "Hello?" He called out again. "Welcome, Prince Lucian." A wispy figure appeared in front of him. "It is time to wake up." And with that, he woke up. "...Hello?" He spoke in a raspy voice.

Fenriz shot up when Lucian spoke, he hurried over beside his bed, his whole body filled with relief. "Thank the unholy lord." He muttered mostly to himself, "He's awake!" then the medic from before came sprinting in and to the bedside as well, making Fen back off. Along with the woman that had assisted him, Fen's father was next to come in the room. As soon as their eyes met, Fen new he was going to have quite the explanation to give and he wasn't looking forward to it.

"Ugh..." He groaned, touching his head. "What... happened? ...I don't remember anything." Lucian gazed around, his gaze catching on Fenriz. He tried sitting up, but failed. It seems he was too weak at the moment.

Loki motioned with his finger for Fenriz to come out of the room and follow him. He didn't want to upset him any firther than he aready had so Fen followed. Outside the room, his father grabbed his arm and pulled him all the way out of the castle and out to the coach, shoving his son inside. The medic took Lucian's vitals again, and when she looked to Fen for an answer herself, he was gone. "I'm not sure, I believe you just fainted. There was a young man here a second ago.."

Lucian finally sat up, wondering where Fenriz went. He nodded to the medic, before swinging his legs off the bed and standing up. Walking to the door, he wandered down the hallway to the Great Hall. He stared in wonder at the now empty hall, and asked a nearby knight where the families all went. "They have all gone home, m'sire." The knight bowed and went back to doing his job. Lucian went back to his room, then began to write on some papers that he had drawn on. He wrote it to Prince Fenriz of the WereDemon Kingdom. He asked at the end of the letter When can we meet again? Lucian then sealed it in an envelope, before sending it on its way. Edited at November 9, 2022 02:16 PM by Crystal Hills

Fenriz kept his head down in the coach as his parents stared him down. His father with an angery expression and his mother with a worried one. It was minutes before anyone spoke, the only sound being the horses hooves on the pavement. ~~~ "Would you like to explain why you were spending the evening with a boy, rather than looking for your future bride? Like you were supposed to?" The King all but growled. ~~~ "Its not how it looks, I just.. I'm not ready! I don't want to be married to some woman I don't care for!" Fen defended. Internally he was panicking but externally his voice was loud and unwavering. Angry even. ~~~ "Well that's too bad, son! You are supposed to be taking the crown soon! You must be married!" ~~~ Fen was silent, just a scowl on his face for the rest of the trip home. He knew he wouldn't win this argument, there was no point in trying. Once home he went up to his room and stayed there for the rest of the night, thinking everything over. Trying not to think about his impeding doom that was marrying someone he would never love. Not romantically anyway. ~~~~ (I'm gonna time skip to a day later, when he gets the letter.) ~~ "Prince Fenriz?" A maid's voice called through his bedroom door. Fen was in his wold form, curled up on his bed, trying to forget his problems. At the voice, he shifted back, dressed in a robe and answered the door. ~~~ "What do you want?" He groaned. ~~~ "You have a letter." The maid handed it to him and hurried down the hall. She knew that Fen was in no mood for communication, and she'd rather not be yelled at or fired. ~~~ Fen opened the letter, eyebrow raised. "Hm." From Lucian? Maybe I should write one back. Or just go there. Yeah I'm just gonna go there. ~~ Almost as fast as lightning, Fen got dressed in his nice clothes, wearing red today. Without a word to anyone, he left the house and took flight, figuring his wings could use a good stretch. It had been weeks since he'd used them properly and they were aching.

Lucian had grown sick of waiting for a response, so he had decided to go out and practice his aerial archery. He'd now spent a couple hours practicing, when a maid came to him and said "M'sire, someone is here for you." He drew his arrow, then flew fast, barrel-rolling at the end while launching his arrow. He let it fly true and straight, hitting the bull's eye. After retrieving his arrows, Lucian flew back to the maid and said "Thank you. Where is this person?" She gave an air-curtsy, and at his words she led him to where the person was. She had apparently let them into Lucian's room. "Thank you, you're dismissed." Lucian nodded, waving his hand slightly to dismiss her. She curtsied again, then left. Placing his hand on the doorknob, Lucian took a deep breath and twisted it, opening the door and stepping in.

Fenriz arrived at the castle from before. The Angel's castle. He went up to the door and a maid met him there, and suddenly he felt very strange and awkward, like maybe he should have just written back instead of showing up. However it seems a little late for that now. "I'm Prince Fenriz, from the WereDemon kingdom. I'm here to see Prince Lucian." The maid smiled and nodded her head, "Ah yes, will he be expecting you? I believe he is out in the yard currently." "No, he's not expecting me, but I need to speak with him." "Alright, I'll show you to his room and let him know of your arrival." She lead him inside, up the stairs like last time, and into the room he had gone in once before. Ah, so this is his room. She then dismissed herself, assumingly to get Lucian, and Fen sat down on the bed to wait for him. He let his wings relax slightly and took a breath. This might not be the best idea, but the other prince had made it seem like he wanted to see him again. Before long, the door was opening and Lucian was walking in. "Hey." Fen said simply, then mentally cursed himself for the informality, grateful his dad wasn't here to chew him out for it. He stood up, and half bowed to him. "I got your letter, figured maybe I should just come here, rather than writing back."

He smiled when he saw who it was. "Hey." Lucian then chuckled a little when Fenriz got up and half-bowed to him. "You don't need to bow to me, it's okay to be informal around me." Ah, so the other prince had gotten his letter. "And that's alright. You can come whenever, I don't mind! It's better than just training or drawing or studying. It gets quite boring here when it's just me and myself." Lucian then realized that he had just came from practing and still hadn't changed or anything. A slight blush tinted his cheeks as he had the realization. "Excuse me, but I need to go change into new clothes. I've just come from practicing my aerial archery. Feel free to look at my drawings and paintings! They're over by the window." He quickly bowed some, then went into his wardrobe to change into new clothes.
