Alexander sat down Lydia, as she was on his back. She blushed and smiled at Alexander. "Thank you, Alex!" She said happily. Alexander smiled. She was the only one to call him that. Manly because he let her.

Alexander sat in between Lydia and another wolf from his pack, Hazel. Hazel was blonde and had pretty hazel eyes. She was named based off her eye color because they were so bright. She was the betas daughter. Lydia is Hazels sister. Although, Lydia was blonde with bright sky blue eyes.

Alexander had asked his father if he could go run with the pack around the river and the boarder of the pack territory. His father nodded. "Now, don't be idiots. I don't want to be called because someone got hurt." he said. Alexander nodded.

Haven beat the boys to the lake and held her head hugh as she pranced around in a circle flicking her tail gloating as the boys caught up to her. Will growled "hey pierce you think ill get in trouble if I kill my cousin" he asked through the link. Pierce flicked his tail "not if we make it look like an accident" he responded and glanced at Will before the two of them pounced on her playfully. Haven huffed and shoved them off of her "you two are hippos its not my fault im the fastest one in the pack" she laughed before laying down in the sun.

Alexander lined up every teenager in his pack and planned on racing them. Not only that, but he's always been the most athletic. He takes after his father. Alexander gets in line to wait. One of of the older wolves was in the center. "I want a clear line and I don't none of ya'll punks to be cheatin' now, ya hear?" He said. He was one of the older wolves of the packs but he was close to Alexanders mother. In a way, he was the closest one to be a grandfather to Alexander. The wolves in line nodded to the old wolf. Alexander smirked, knowing he would win.. Again.

The old wolf counted down from 5. As soon as he hit 1 Alexander pushed his limits. Lydia tried her best to catch up to him but failed. "You are so cheating, Alex!!" She yelled. "Here let me slow down for you, slow poke!" He said jokingly. He slowed only a little. Just until Lydia caught up to him then he pushed himself harder than ever. He laughed. Everybody else in the pack was a lot slower than the alphas. The alphas and thier offsprings are known to be the fastest in the pack, especiually Alexanders family.

After a while, he pushed himself more and more and got to a riverbank. It was the boundry river between the other packs and his. Lydia looked and saw the river. "Alexander. NO!!" She screamed. Alexander turned his head, unknowingly the river was right there just a foot infront of him. He smiled at her and thought she was joking. Everybody in the pack stopped running. They all gave up. They knew Alexander was gonna win after all. They all noticed the river and all yelled for his name. The river was filled with rocks and sometimes sharp sticks that'll cut a wolf. He turned back and saw the river. He screamed and fell in. Everybody was in horror. He couldn't slow down in time.

Haven raised her head her ears straight up as she head a yell farther down the water where the lake turns into a river. Looking up at Will and Pierce she stood before taking off know that they were right behind her with some of the pack. "Haven slow down" she heard Will call but she kept running. Looking across the river she saw wolves from another pack and growled softly her fur sticking up. As she felt the others reach her Will and Piece came to stand next to her. Glancing around she looked at the water and saw a wolf, with out thinking she dash forward and jumped into the water, she swam all the time in her wolf form and human form and was a stong swimmer but even she didnt trust the fast moving river and stuck to the calmer lake. Paddling she reached the wolf and grabbed his scruff to start pulling him to shore. She caught his scent and realized that it was Alex. once she got close enough she saw WIll and Pierce come to help her and together they pulled him out of the river. "V what was that you cant just take off and go jumping in the river!" Will said turning on her his tail lashing.

Alexander was knocked around in the water a bit before Haven could grab him and save him from the current. Alexander was wounded. Scratches all over him, and one went over his right eye. Lydia ran over and the rest of the pack. They were concerned and saw how hurt he was. They noticed the other pack when they got Alexander out of the water. The old wolf, the one thats the closest to Alexander, and considered to be his grandfather, was worried sick. He was scared Alexander would be hurt badly. Once the pack caught up to Alexander and the other pack, the older wolf looked at Haven. "Thank you, dear." He said with a smile.

Haven narrowed her eyes and Will then turned to face the older wolf "it was no problem" she said "we must return to our side of the territory now" Will told them and padded back towards the water. Pierce nudged Haven and she followed him into the water quickly padding acroos the come out on the other side and shook out their pelts "no mention of this to my father understood" she told them looking at the two boys. Will narrowed his eyes but nodded along with Pierce. Glancing back she gave Alex one last look before dashing off back towards the house with the others behind her.

Lydia ran to go to Alexander. She was worried for him. The old wolf nodded as the wolves went back to their territory. The old wolf looked at Alexander, he was knocked out and he was in pain. He knew that for a fact. "I need 4 strong wolves. Ya'll need to carry Alexnader. Lydia, you don't have to help carry him. You can stay by him. Everyone, surround Alexander. We have to go tell the Alphas about Alexander. But, no word of the other pack." He told them. They nodded and got 4 of the stronger wolves to carry Alexander back to the pack.

His father noticed the wolves almost huddling around Alexander. Alexanders' mother screamed and ran to them "What happened?!" She said frantically. She was scared her son was injured. His father, Cody ran with his wife. They both were worried. Some say Scarlett, the mother of Alexander was a softy to him. She cared a lot for others. The 4 strong wolves then sat him down gently and they went to go get the packs doctor and nurse. They had 4.

When they reached the house Haven shifted back and ran up to her room she could here the boys enter the house behind her. Shutting her door she winced as she saw a couple scrapes across her side and legs she had gotten banged around in the water as she was holding on to Alex but nothing as bad as he was. After she showered she bandaged her cuts and threw on sweatpants and a hoodie before heading downstairs to the kitchen. Seeing her mother at the counter with a couple other females from the pack she smiled and sat on one of the stools "do you need any help making dinner?" she asked. Leah looked up at her daughter and shook her head smiling "no thank you dear but i do know that your father wants to talk to you why don't you go find him" she told her. Haven nodded and jumped off the stool, padding out of the kitchen she went to her fathers office and knocked on the door. "Enter" opening the door she smiled at her father and sat on the couch in his office "Hello Have" her father said and looked up at her "tell me about sharing the school with the other pack" he asked and she nodded. "It was a good day there was some tension and I know a small argument had happened between one of ours and one of theirs but Will was there to stop it before anything went farther" she started telling him about the day.

The doctor and nurse got Alexander on a hospital like bed. They cleaned his wounds and tried to stitch him up, though some of the scratches were deep and would leave a scar. They tried everything they could. He was the only offspring of the current Alpha and his mate. It would be bad if he were to pass away this young. Especuially being the only child.

Alexanders parents, Cody and Scarlett waited eagerly. They were concerned about their son. The river has bacteria and can cause an infection if not taken care of right away. Minutes go by. The doctor and his nurse walk out of the room Alexander was in. Cody and Scarlet look at them crazily. "Is our son okay?!" They said together, as if they were the same person. "Yes he's alright, but he's gonna have to be off his legs for a while. He has some wounds that need to heal. If they don't heal right, his legs and all the scratches will heal weirdly and that can cause multiple things to happen." The doctor said to them. The nurse on the other hand, was a friend of Cody and Scarlet. She was concerned as well. But, she made sure not to fret.

Lydia and all the teens were scared for their future pack Alpha. They wanted him to stay in good health. Lydia mostly cared for him the most. They have been close since they were pups. She didn't like it when he was hurt or even close danger. She has had a crush on him since day one. She always thought highly of Alexander. She didn't wanna see the day he was so injured he couldn't run with her or hang out with her anymore. She ran off to the woods that was close to the den and she cried.

After speaking to her father Haven left his office and headed for the front door, before she could reach it Pierce appeared at her side. "Where are you heading to?" he asked raising a brow and smiling at her. Haven rolled her eyes "if you must know, my side got scraped up so i'm heading to one of the pack doctors for some salve" she told him heading towards the med building. Pierce narrowed his eyes as he followed her "and tell me againwhy you went jumping into the river to help another packs soon to be alpha" he asked his tone sharp. Haven stopped and turned to look at him she paused before answering as she didn't really know why she did it either "you saw his pack Pierce they were all frozen someone had to save him" she said and pushed him playfully "now go away and bug Will." Smiling at him she walked into the med building and found Dr.Jones Pierce's older sister "Hey Nat could I get some of that salve you made for cuts i got a couple bad ones running around and messing with the guys in the woods today." she asked "sure let me grab it" Nat said and left.
