Gus sat up quickly after him. "No, that's alright! You don't need to make anything, Ill be fine." He rubbed his face with a hand, the sudden realization of how late they'd been up the night before hitting him. "Shit," he whispered under his breath. "Im tired." Then he laughed, eyes half-closed. "We were up late last night, Apollow," he whispered again, smiling at the white haired boy. "I had a game, and I was up really late. How am I still alive?"

"No no, it's fine, you need to eat, youndo a lot more activity then me" he leaned over and used his right hand to hold himself up. "Yeah we were up pretty late weren't we" he laughed and looked over at Gus. "I'm not entirely sure, do you want to head back to bed? I can cook up something to eat and wake you when it's done" he made the offer, thinking immediately about how he'd have to let go of his hand. He really didn't want to, but he also didn't want to keep Gus awake when he needed more sleep.

Gus thought for a bit on the offer. On one hand, sleep is very important, and he would need it if he was going to face his team. On the other hand, he didn't want to leave Apollow's side. But he finally decided on one option. "I think Ill sleep a bit longer if that's alright. I need to clear my head to talk to the team today so I don't sound like a jumbling idiot." He sighed, letting go of Apollow's feathery grasp slowly.

"OH, alright, I'll go get started on breakfast then, omletes sound okay?" He stood up after Gus let go of his hand. The air was cold on it. He began walking towards the door, and stopped when he got to the frame, leaning against it while thinking of what else he could make, and what he'd put in the omlettes, he had bell peppers, and onions, bacon even, that'd be yummy. If Gus didn't want omlettes he could make pancakes, or waffles, or he even had cereal if Gus was that kind of guy. "Do you want me to wake you when I'm done or let you wake on your own?" He asked before turning to leave.

Gus studied Apollow in the doorway, the way he leaned against the dram and the way he seemed to hesitate. His eyes were drawn directly to Apollow's empty hand that he had been holding only moments ago. Even with Apollow that far away, he felt lonely and upset. When Gus was asked the question, he responded quietly, saying, "Wake me up, please. If you don't, I might sleep all day." He laughed at himself, watching Apollow leave the frame.

"Alright I'll wake you then, sweet dreams" he walked into the kitchen and began gathering up the things he needed, a pan, a knife, cutting board, the ingredients from the fridge. Onions bell pepper, bacon, cheese, eggs. He hummed along to a tune he wanted to use for a song in the future as he cracked the eggs and stirred in the cheese as he beat the yolk. He set the pan on the stove making sure he put the heat on high. Chopping the veggies while he waited for the pan to heat and the butter to melt.

Sweet dreams, Gus scoffed in his head as he turned onto his side to fall asleep. My dreams will only be sweet if you're in them, Apollow. He wanted to say it so bad, but resisted as Apollow left the room to cook. He fell asleep quickly again, breathing steadying despite his restless body. He tossed and turned a bit, uncomfortable in his sleep without Apollow there beside him anymore.

When the pan was fully heated he poured in the egg and cheese mix, stirring it while he finished cutting the bacon chunks. Once he finished cutting everything he grabbed out a skillet, beginning to fry the bacon chunks before he put them in with the rest of it. Once the outer layer of the eggs was done enough to be able to flip it, he sprinkled the veggies in, followed by the bacon he'd finished frying, he then flipped the omlette in the pan, letting that side cook just enough to be able to flip it again and roll it. He rolled it and let it sit so the eggs would cook all the way through. Once he was done he plated the omlette and starting walking to wake Gus.

Gus was half awake when Apollow walked in, the smell of food making his mouth water. Nevertheless, he still acted as though he was asleep to see what Apollow would do. His stomach screamed with the pain of waiting and smelling all this food, but knowing what Apollow would do was much more important. He waited patiently for the white-haired boy to enter the room again to wake him.

When apollow reached his room he walked to Gus's side of the bed and looked for a second. 'Cute' he though to himself. He reached out a hand and ruffled his hair. "Foods done sleepy" he let his hand linger on Gus's head, his hair was soft, and silky. He took his hand back trying not to be weird, and sat down on the bed beside Gus's legs. "I made omlettes, with bacon chunks in them" he was proud of his creation, it was easy, but still tasted and looked delicious.
