After eating his share before getting up. Gunner and Frost stayed up, keeping watch. Going inside the den, he looked around before going to the old den where he found Hail. Laying down beside her he asked, "Would you like to turn this into our own den? Instead of sleeping with the others." He started running his teeth through her fur, grooming her.

"i'd like that since im exspecting pups" She said wagging her tail

Shadow froze. "Your expecting pups?! That's amazing dear!" He licked her head wagging his tail. "I will get this den cleaned up then." He said, with a proud look on his face.

She smiled then licked his head and fell asleep tired

Shadow fell asleep beside her before waking at midnight. Getting up, he woke Storm before they released Gunner and Frost from night shift. Sitting beside Storm, he let out a contented sigh as he watched alertly into the forest.

By Dawn Hail woke up and walked out of the den she streached and went to see how her litter mates were doing the hail walked up to Shadow wagging her tail

Shadow blinked, yawning. Seeing Hail wake up, he got up and stretched before walking to her and licked her head. "How are you this morning?" He asked, wagging his tail.

Hail smiled "good" "how are you?" She asked tilting her head

"I am doing good, sleepy but good." Shadow replied yawning. "I think I'm going to go take a nap." He started for the den before calling out, "Lightning, Ice, Gunner! How about you three go hunting?" Once they had responded and set off, did he go to sleep in the alpha den.
