Elliot smirked softly as their gazes met, looking into the other's eyes with more intensity than necessary. He was enjoying seeing the other get so nervous from something so simple as eye contact. It was quite adorable actually…
Wait, what was he thinking? Adorable? It was a guy, he couldn't think in that way about a guy, was he crazy?
He let the other’s hand slip out of his as he stood up more straight, gazing down at the other guy as he spoke once more.
"Um....which side of the room is mine?"
Eli glanced around the room slightly, he didn't really like the idea that he would have to share his room with someone else, he had gotten so used to it being his own room.
"You don't have to call me my full name, you can call me Jay....It's what most people call me."
The brown-haired guy looked down at the other when he spoke up once again before looking around the room once more and motioning with his hand to the left side of the room, “Well, Jay, that's your side so feel free to start unpacking, I won't bother you any longer.”
He gave the blond one last glance before walking over and laying down on his bed, picking up the book he had previously been reading, prior to Victoria calling and disturbing him.
“Oh yeah, and make sure to keep it somewhat clean alright? If this is gonna work, I don't want any messes and shit in my dorm room, 'kay?” Eli spoke, glancing over at Bluejay briefly.

Jay's first thought of this male was unsure and unease. Why was he staring at him like that? Trying to study him? Figure him out? He wasn't all that difficult to figure out, anyways. He swallowed hard, pulling his hand away when the other let him go. Eli seemed like he was going to be trouble, and he didn't know how to feel about that. He took in a small breath, flicking his gaze to the left side before giving a small nod and moving over, setting his suit case up onto the bed as he did so. When he spoke, he turned to look, raising a brow as he did so. "I don't like messes." He said with a nod. Which was true; he couldn't stand messy people. He was by no way OCD, but he sure liked order and placement. He unzipped his suitcase, flipping the top open before glancing at his own night stand, moving to set a picture down. It was him and a brown haired male with green eyes, that male had his arm wrapped around Jay's shoulder, and Jay was laughing and kissing his cheek, both sporting pride gear. It had been from the pride parade; the first one he had ever gone too. His best friend, Malcolm, in that photo, had taken him. On malcolm's cheek was the bi-flag, and on his own was the rainbow. He said nothing about it as he worked to bring his clothes towards his dresser

Occasionally Eli would glance over at the other male, refusing to admit it but he was rather interested in the guy, there was just something about him, he couldn't decide if he liked him or not, he was different from him, that was for sure at least.
He watched quietly as the other guy placed down a picture on his bed stand and, as curiosity got the better of him, Elliot adjusted himself slight so that he could see the picture, having expected it to be of a family member or possibly a pet, the sight definitely caught him off guard and his attempt to discreetly peak at it in secret, became much less discreet.
Jay, the guy on the other side of his room, his new roommate, was gay? Was that guy in the picture his boyfriend?
His gaze shifted to Jay and once more he studied the guy. On closer inspection, you could almost see it on him, how could he have been so blind to miss that the guy he would now be sharing a room with was gay?
“Well that explains why you chose an all boys college,” Eli scoffed as he looked back over at the picture again, “Hate to break it to you but there's no other fairies here so you're out of luck.”
The brown-haired guy sat up in his bed as he put his book down and looked at Jay again, “And you better keep your hands in check, I have a girlfriend alright?” He told him.

Jay hadn't cared to so much as look back at Eli as he worked, getting too wrapped up in unpacking. Only when he heard him speak did he turn with a confused look. An all boys college? He flicked his gaze to the photo. Right, well, there goes that introduction. When he heard him speak about fairies and a girlfriend, he laughed softly. "Actually this school is the closest place I qualified for a scholarship too. As for being gay and you having a girlfriend, don't be so cocky. You aren't my type." He said with a soft chuckle. "And neither is he, if you must know." He added, nodding towards the photo of himself and Malcolm. "I have no interest in relationships or anything of the sort. I'm here to learn, to get my degree." He answered simply with a nod of his head. "I don't party, i don't do drugs, I keep things clean. I don't want any trouble with you, ok?" He said as he pushed his suitcase under his bed and turned to look at Eli. "So you can keep your borderline homophobic comments to yourself." He said with a nod of his head

At the mention of a scholarship, Eli grinned softly. So Jay got in on a scholarship? That explained even more about him, he was poor.
His face dropped slightly at the mention of not being the other’s type. He couldn't say why exactly though, like he gave a damn, in fact he was glad he wasn't.
“Well thank God for that,” he muttered. It did annoy him a bit though, what was wrong about his looks? Why was he not his type? He wanted to know. Although it didn't matter, he wanted nothing to do with him.
"I don't party, I don't do drugs, I keep things clean. I don't want any trouble with you, ok?"
Elliot held back a chuckle before speaking, “So you're fucking boring then? You're just gonna spend all your time studying? Probably for the best, I doubt you’ll find any people like yourself here to hang with anyway.”
At the other’s last comment, Eli frowned slightly, “I’m not fucking homophobic, I just want you to understand that you better keep your hands to yourself and not get any ideas,” he sneered.

Jay moved, sitting on the edge of his bed and crossing his arms as he looked at Eli, watching him quietly. He seemed almost offended, which just confused him more. What the hell was this guys issue? He didn't get it, and doubted he would, anyways. "Boring?" He said without thinking. "Tch," He said with a soft huff, once more turing his head away. "I wouldn't say boring. I'm here to continue my career, that's it." He said with a shrug of his shoudlers. He didn't see anything wrong with doing school at school. Although, when Eli spoke he lifted a brow with a smirk. "You called me a fairy." He said matter of factly. "And youre saying just cause I'm gay I can't control myself around guys. How would you take that?" He said with a raised brow as he looked at him. "Unless of course your insecure and projecting." He added amused

Eli rolled his eyes as he laid back down with a soft thud before he turned his head towards Jay once more, “That's exactly what I mean, college is like your last chance to actually have fun before you have to work for the rest of your life, so yeah, boring,” he stated.
“I take that as setting clear boundaries, so whatever the hell you're insinuating, forget it,” he sneered as he glared at the other guy. The amused look on the other's face only pissed him off further, who the hell did he think he was to make such claims?
“I already told you, I have a girlfriend, how the hell could I be gay when I have a girlfriend? Wouldn't make sense now would it?” He muttered. No, he didn't love Victoria, but this guy didn't know that, and that didn't mean anything anyway. He was straight, he didn't like guys in that way, not one bit.
This guy was getting on his nerves, he shouldn't have to be defending himself and his sexuality like this. “Even if I was, someone like you would never be my type, I have standards. And you should just watch it, not come in here and start making assumptions about me when you know jackshit about me.”

"I'd disagree with that one." He said, speaking of college being the last piece of freedom they'd have. "Some of us actually want to grow up," He said crosing his arms and eyeing the male before him. "And I already told you, you aren't my type." He said rolling his eyes once more. What was his issue? "You keep saying you have a girlfriend and I don't care. So doesn't he, doesn't mean he didn't have a boyfriend at one point too." He said simply as he looked back at his photo of him and Malcolm, still not speaking the other males name. This jackass didn't need that information. When Eli mentioned not coming in here and making assumptions, he laughed, an actual heart felt laugh. "So when you do it, it's ok?" He said raising a brow as he looked at him. "But when I do it, I'm an asshole?" He said with a laugh and a shake of his head. "First thing you did when I walked through that door was eye me up, call me a fairy, tell me to keep my hands off you, and when I said no problem; you aren't my type, you yell at me?" He said voice calm with undertones of being totally pissed off. Who pissed in this guys cheerios? They really weren't off to a good start. he huffed and stood, grabbing his phone and keys, before making his way towards the door. He wasn't going to deal with this, he needed to go for a walk. Taking a stroll around campus seemed easy enough, get used to it now, anyways.

“I’d watch it if I were you, I can make life hell for you here so cut back on the attitude new guy,” Eli sneered, clearly done and tired with talking to this guy.
Elliot got out of bed and walked closer to the other guy, towering over the blond, “Yelling? Oh so now I’m yelling?” He questioned, “I have not even begun to raise my voice but if you would like me to start just say so.” His voice was cold as he spoke, you could clearly hear just how done he was with this guy already.
“If you have a problem with me, you're free to ask the office if there's a different dorm you could move to,” Eli stated as he glared down at the shorter guy. “Or better yet, just move schools all together?” Elliot muttered as he crossed his arms over his chest.
“While you think, get the hell out of my sight,” he finished, eyes still locked down onto the shorter guys gaze as he glared at him, waiting for the guy to leave.

Jay glanced back over his shoulder, a soft scoff of amusement leaving his lips. He could make life hell for me? "Nothing can be worse than the hell I have already been through." He said simply as he looked back towards Elliot. "I don't have an attitude. This is simply how I am faced with cocky guys." He said simply, figners resting lightly against the door knob. "You really are full of funny stuff, man. A problem with you? I don't have a problem with you. You are the one who apparently has one with me, thinking I'll be touching all on you. You aint all that." He said with a huff. He ignored the school thing, reaching forward to pull open the door before grunting, shutting the door all over and turning to go back towards his bed. "Well," He started, looking up towards Elliot and meeting his eyes. "Now that you told me to leave while I was leaving, I don't want too." He said simply as he moved to sit on his bed, his gaze not leaving the other males.
