The naked molerat comment had me cracked up- thank you. . Who the hell did this guy think he was? Aracelia thought bitterly, moving a hand down to touch where the man had poked his stomach. Vaugely, he recalled when his dad would do that, teasing Aracelia about if he had hit puberty yet, or if he was ever going to have muscle. Aracelia straightened up, regarding himself for a bitter moment; he wasn't that skinny. Sure, he was definetly more feminine looking then most manly men in his neighbourhood, but he could easily lift his father, which was about 200 pounds. Plus! he didn't need to be muscular, he more then made up for it with his broad shoulders and height. The man's gaze traced Ambrose carefully, his eyes- reflecting almost a deep emerald green- squinted as he tried to understand the facts of the mans statement. "Listen man, love the custome- my sister would think it's cool and what not- but uh, I need help man," He explained, sighing as he ruffled his thick black hair and huffing again. "My name is Aracelia Wilkan, and I need to get home before my sister gets back from kindergarten. Otherwise she'll eat all of the cookies I just baked and be sick for the next week," He explained, hesitating. Without thinking much more then a simple I wounder, Aracelia reached out and laid a hand on the man's chest, gasping in surprise as his hand manuvered around the thin fur. It reminded him of a dog almost, the dog that used to chase him back from school every day when he lived with his mom, more specifically. But it was almost silkier, and such a beautiful brown Aracelia had seen. Lost completely in his thoughts, the male idly continued petting the mans chest, trying to figure out how exactly it looked so real. "Hey!" Aracelia yelped as the stick came into contact with his stomach. "Listen dude, love to custume, my sister would lose her mind, but uh... I need help man," Aracelia tried to explain. |

(I am dying at this random man just petting ambrose LMAOOO i love it) Ambrose looked at the creature with disgust. It must be a naked molerat, no other creature could be as unintelligent. Costume? What does that even mean? Costume. He wasn't a child! Ambrose's temper was rising by the minute, he didn't have the patience for this creature, nor did he have the time. He had a job to do, and he needed to get back home to ma. "Kindergarten?" The word sounded funny on his tongue. Ambrose felt a warmth bloom across his chest, the creatures hands wandering over his stomach felt oddly comforting. Ambrose almost melted into the touch before he realized what was going on. Immediately he bounded back a few feet, effectively using his staff to hit the creature square in the chest one more time. What sort of hypnotic prowess did this creature have? "What do you think you're doing?" Ambrose growled, "This is not a 'costume' you mole-witted rat." Ambrose ripped off his mask in annoyance and pinched the bridge of his nose, trying to will the headache of a creature away. "Fine. How can I help you? Sooner you're gone the sooner I can get back to my work." He sighed heavily. |

The breath from Aracelia's lungs was robbed, a wheeze escaping him as the wack of Ambrose's staff knocked the thoughts back into Aracelia's head. A low grunt escaped him as he doubled over, guarding his chest with his arms as he huffed, "Yea, okay, I earned that. I didn't realize your custome was going to be... warm?" He cringed. How weird did that sound! Shaking his head, he also took a step back, straightening up. "Kindergarten, y'know? The child garden? A place where parents dump their young kids off for socializing and what not?" He asked, shaking his head as he gently brushed a hand over where he was hit again. "Can we stop poking and smacking me? Or at least give me a warning?" He grunted, sighing as he shook his head before his brows furrowed. Who the HELL used mole-witted as an insult! Even his sister had better insults. "Listen dude, I just gotta get home before my sister gets home and I have not a clue where I am," He tried to explain. "I live at 1371 Ave, by the Queen's park and the church. Do you know where that is?" He asked, glancing around for a stick before sighing. "Do you have like... a shirt? Actually ignore that, of course you don't you're half naked." He sighed, eyeing the fabric of his clothes. Nothing made sense, this had to be a dream, he determined. Fluffy men, massive trees... All of this was a dream. But being hit sure as hell hurt like it was real. Silently, he ligted his head. At least it was a beautiful dream, the attractive man was an interesting twist, but he didn't really mind. He wondered, suddenly, what their garden shed would look like at this size. With a fond smile, he imagined jumping tool from tool, like a videogame. |

Ambrose looked at the creature in confusion. "It's rude to touch another's chest without even knowing him first, and I'm not wearing any costume." His nose flared with annoyance. "I don't know what your kinder garden is. And I don't know where you live." Ambrose fluttered his wings, a habit he developed long ago whenever he felt awkward or irritated. "I think hitting you is perfectly necessary. Shouldn't you mole-rats be in the ground anyway? What are you doing on the surface. You're not all that intelligent. Talking about queens and avey-news." Ambrose chuckled a little, "Why do you need clothes? You're a naked mole-rat aren't you? Isn't the point to not wear clothes?" Seeing the creatures annoyed expression, Ambrose sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose again, "Fine. I have some clothes for you. They're back in my home. If you're willing to follow me there." |

It was like talking to someone who didn't know English! A soft sigh fell from his lips as he rubbed his face. "I'm sorry, I just... Didn't expect it to feel so real, I sincerly apologize for touching you without your consent," He apologized, dipping his head to show sincerity. "But I don't apprechiate being referred to as a naked mole rat, I'm human, just like you man. I got feelings and sh-crud." He corrected, jaw dropping as the man's- what he thought was a cape- moved and flapped. "Dear god," He breathed, both in awe and horror as he eagerly approached and eyed the mans wings. Staying just far enough away where he'd have a one step advantage on Ambrose. "Okay. This is a dream, definetly a dream," He whispered to himself. "Which means..." his eyes traced around the male, "I need to stop watching love island." He sighed in defeat before shaking it off. "So you're... a what then? Hybird? Science exoeriment? My deepest darkest fears personified?" He mused, pausing. Well, he was scared of moths as a kid... "Yea, a shirt would be great!" He added, humming softly and looking around. "Where exactly is this house?" |

Ambrose nearly laughed, "Human! Ha! That's funny! You mole-rats really don't know anything do you?" "Humans are sniveling giants. You couldn't possibly be one... unless?" Ambrose's eyes filled with sorrow as he circled the creatures body once more. Fear filled in his eyes once he had realized. "What have you done?" Ambrose struggled to keep his composure, but the heavy news he had just discovered shattered his stone wall bit by bit.
"You have no idea, do you?" His voice crackled with his words, Ambrose sighed, there was no use in explaining. Humans were always so dumb and selfish. But it was obvious that this one, whether he was human or not, had no idea of his actions as far as Ambrose could tell.
"Science experiment? What even is that? And don't. Call me a hybrid, it's highly insensitive. But you're a mole rat of course you wouldn't understand," he spoke with a slight waver in his words, he didn't bother with disguising his voice any longer.
Ambrose ruffled his wings and picked up his staff, walking back towards his home tree, not bothering to check if the human was following behind. "The house is back that way, follow me." |

"Unless?" Aracelia pressed, rushing to the man's side. "Unless what?" The fear did not help to soothe Aracelia, his stomach doing flips in protest as he tried to catch glances at Ambrose's face. What could he done that was so terrible that he could have deserved this! Aracelia tried to think of the worst thing he had done in his life, recalling when he was younger and used to get into screaming matches with his dad about his sisters living situation. Or perhaps when he had accidentally hit a mouse with his bike. Would that have led him here? "... Okay. Wait." He paused, trying to shape out his thoughts with his hands, drawing out the wings he had seen on Ambrose before he froze entirely. "You're a fairy! Wait- men can be faries?" He blinked, considering. "Is there like a... man fairy term? This sounds weird." He grunted, jogging back to the mans side. "So you're a fairy... which means you think that I did something that... mother nature didn't like and now I'm here?" He asked. |

Ambrose sighed, "In a simple manner of speaking, yes." Ambrose continued on the path. "Although I didn't believe something like this could even be real, just a story to teach children just how brainless and selfish humans are. I suppose you've proved that already," he said flatly. "And before you ask, no I don't know how to fix you." "Of course men can be faeries. You humans really aren't too bright. It's probably because you're all so big, your height makes you unintelligent." "We're here." Ambrose stopped abruptly in front of a majestic oak tree. Ambrose craned his neck up to the sky, squinting to try to find the well-hidden knot in the tree where he lived. Far into the distance, was a roughly arranged row of twigs and small branches, tied together to create a sort of balcony. "Do you think your fragile mole-rat body could get all the way up there?" |

Of course he didn't know how to fix his situation, he'd need to talk to the troll about that. Aracelia mused to himself, pausing. That option was both plausible and terrifying. "I don't know! I don't usually talk to Tinkerbell on Monday evenings," He sassed bitterly, shaking his head in helplessness. When Ambrose stopped, Arecelia couldn't help but cast a confused look to him, before guiding his eyes to the tree. "I'm sorry, you want me to do what!" He demanded. Sure, as a young boy Aracelia had climbed trees before, and more often then not, fallen right back down. But this situation was completely different. First of all, he was definetly more fragile. Second of all that tree would have easily compared to mount everest. Thirdly, how the hell was he expected to get himself up that high? Were all faries just gym nuts on steriods. He snorted at the mere idea of that, shaking his head in disbelief. "How do you expect me to get up there exactly?" |

(I think ambrose is just gonna keep calling Aracelia mole-rat if thats okay with you lol) He scrunched up his face, thinking. "I just assumed you would climb. Mole rats are supposed to be good at climbing. But now that I take a look at you better, you seem a bit too small to do that. Ambrose got closer to the creature's body, taking note of its scrawny form, and bringing one of its hands close to his face, examining the fingers. "You're not a very good mole rat. I could always carry you," he noted matter-of-factly. He circled around the creature, letting his eyes trace over his body, smiling even wider when he finds what he was looking for. A pair of beautiful translucent cicada wings. "Ah." Ambrose smiled mischievously, "Well you've got wings, don't you? Or would you rather me carry you? Ha!" Ambrose's eyes squinted when he smiled. |
