Emery was relieved to hear that there was nothing wrong and relaxed. Though now curious as to why he was here. Her curiousity was quickly answered. "Oh! Thank you" she said with a slightly sheepish laugh. "Yeah, I tend to get distracted and leave thing all over the place. I've lost quite a few of my stuff over the years like that" she admitted. It wasn't something she tried to hide, as frustrating as the habit it was. Not that it was something easily hidden, considering she was often going over to Emerald and Liri's rooms if she had been there to ask if she had left anything. Or them returning things to her. "How are you doing? It's been a rather..interesting, day for all of us" she asked, deciding to check up on him while she had the chance. Dinner probably wasn't too far off anymore and things would get busy then as everyone woke up or appeared from their rooms. Plus, it was nice to stop and have a conversation with someone from time to time while there was a quiet moment. Not that she would keep him he'd rather not talk ofcourse. As long as he stuck around long enough to answer question of how he was doing.

Delta was about to say goodbye and return to his room after returning the book to Emery. He was kept standing in his spot when Emery asked him about how he was doing since as she said, it had been an interesting day. "Well...hm," Delta crossed his arms as he thought about the day so far.
"Well, right now I'm kinda hungry...but I'm sure we'll be served soon" He started to say, "Besides that, I've been thinking about the agent Marks guy and the part of the argument the scientist had with him that we overheard." He said as he scratched the back of his head. "Other than that, I've relaxed in my room and I'm not so on the defensive like I was earlier" Delta shrugged, when it came to taking or giving orders he knew what to say and do. When it came to normal conversations, he wasn't how to give his answers, which was probably his own doing. Edited at March 8, 2021 08:49 PM by Moonwing

Emery listened calmly as Delta spoke, answering her question. She was in no rush, having nothing else to do until dinner arrived, so.her stance was completely relaxed, arms folded loosely. "I'm glad you've taken some time to relax" she said with a smile, knowing by now that relaxing was very important to all of them. Especially those of them that were more aggresive. "Well, I'll you go now" she offered with a soft laugh, "thank you again for bringing my book"

"Of course, don't be afraid to ask if you leave anything in my room again," Delta said as he turned towards his room. "Though, it will probably be a while before that happens at all. See you at dinner" He gave her a small smile before heading over to his door. Entering his room again and shutting the door behind him, and going to lay down on his bed until dinner.
Emerald opened her eyes as she sat up in her bath, she hadn't fallen asleep but was just enjoying the silence and warmth. She looked up at the clock that was in the bathroom, seemed she had been in here for at least 15 minutes. "mmm...5 more minutes, then I'll get out..." She mumbled to herself.

"Okay" Emery said with a smile, "see you then." She closed her door lightly and turned back into her room. Now finding herself torn between reading and completing her task of tidying her room. She glanced from the book she held, towards the clothes she had been folding neatly for once. Then finally decided she would tidy her room now and read some before going to sleep. She would probably lose track of time and not want to put the book down for dinner anyways, so it was best to read after. She put her book down and got back to what she had been doing before Delta had knocked on the door. Liri stirred slightly at the sound of the room doors closing, her ears flicking as her head lifted slightly. She had been dosing in and out of a light sleep for a while. Thinking about getting up and changing before dinner got here, she sighed and rested her head back down. She was too comfortable. She nestled down into the pillows and let her eyes close again.

It may have only been a few minutes, but Sombra was definitely fast asleep. He was snoring softly and his tail was even twitching as he slept, which was probably him starting to have a good dream. Sombra moved his head so that it was buried in the pillow he was resting his head on, he wasn't snoring anymore now, not with his muzzle buried in a pillow.
15 minutes passed until the scientist's door opened up as dinner started to arrive. Noticing the wolves laying on the couch, they were a little quiet as they set the dinner plates on the table. This time for dinner, they had made chicken with rice and beans for the candidates to enjoy.

Liri had dosed off again, but it didn't take much to wake her. Her eyes opened as the scientists came in, the scent of food reaching her nose. She lifted her head once more and gave a yawn, this time actually planning on getting up. She sat up slowly, glancing over at Sombra who still seemed to be asleep. The rest were still missing, probably in their rooms or something. Emery peeked out of her room when she heard something, spotting the scientists bringing in dinner. She'd been starting to get rather hungry and was relieved food was here. If she was starting to get hungry, the other definetly would be hungry.

Emerald was had gotten out of her bath and was drying off when she heard some rustling going on in the living room. This time, she had actually dozed off and was in the bath longer than she had intended to be. Quickly she finished drying off, drained the bathwater, and then put on her clothes. Once she was finished, she left the shower room and was greeted by a beautiful sight...food.
The scent of food drifted into Delta's room, the scent making his stomach growl. Getting up, he left his room and started to head towards the living room, noticing Emery peaking out of her room. "Dinner time," He said loud enough so that she and Wyatt could hear. As he went and sat down, Delta saw Sombra fast asleep on the couch, he decided to leave the sleeping Sombra to Wyatt.

Liri got off the couch as the others started to appear, most from their rooms and Emerald from the bathrooms. She stretched out and yawned before going towards her room. As tempting as it was, she wasn't going to eat in this form. Disappearing into her room and closing the door, she shifted back. It still caused a little pain, but it was dull. She found some clothes and got dressed, putting her hair back in a loose ponytail, leaving some hair out. Taking a moment to breath, she headed back out and went to sit on her usual spot on the couch. Emery came out of her room, it would be best to get settled before Wyatt appeared. He would have likely become rather bored in his room by now and would have revived his energy. She watched as Liri went to her room, guessing she was on her way to shift and get dressed. Emery curled up in her seat comfortably, settling to wait for everyone to get here. Wyatt perked up at the call coming from the living room, followed by the scent of food. It didn't take him long to come out of his room, finding Delta, Emery and Emerald already there and just seeing Liri disappear into her room...and Sombra still asleep on the couch. He grinned and snagged one of the particularly heavy pillows before wandering over and dropping it on Sombra's head. Making sure to get to a safe distance as soon as he let go of the pillow.

Sombra was having a nice dream when something heavy but soft hit his head, jolting him awake. Groaning, Sombra felt that something was on his face, which was probably the cause of waking him up. He pulled his head out from under and noticed that it was one of the heavy pillows, looking around in sleepy confusion he noticed Wyatt snickering, everyone else smiling, and food on the table.
Delta watched quietly from his chair as Wyatt grabbed one of the heavy pillows and dropped it safely on Sombra's head. Who in turn, jolted awake and then moved his head out from under the pillow as he looked around confuse. Delta just kept a smile, "welcome to the land of the living, where we enjoy the thing called food"
