Shadow flicked his ears listening before saying quietly, "I am going to go hunting. I will be back with prey." Quietly going out of the cave, he loped a ways before hearing the sound of rabbits. Going into a crouch, he pounced snapping ones spine and breaking the other one's neck. Picking up his prey, he trotted back to the den where he laid one rabbit in front of Hail. "Once we have eaten and rested, we will head back to my old territory. It has a good prey system that can work for the two of us." |

She nodded and ate some of the Prey but gave the rest to the pup ahe curled up around him and both of them fell asleep quickley |

Shadow watched them for a moment before looking outside. Flicking his ears, he layed down before falling asleep quickly. |

Hail woke up the sun pecking through the cave onto her fur she flicked her ear and got up and walked out side and went hunting once she came back Hail left a rabbit by Shadow gave one to the puppy and ate one herself |

Shadow woke up, the scent of rabbit making his belly rumble. Yawning he stretched before eating the rabbit, "How are you this morning Hail?" He asked, looking at her before at the pup. "And who is this little buddy?" |

"good" she said wagging her tail licking her lips "this is Jack" said Hail licking the pups head |

"Well hello there Jack, welcome to the forest." Shadow said smiling playfully. Looking around, he said, "We will have to go on a slower pace back to save our energy and not bounce this guy around a lot. If we start now, we can pass the wolf's territory before nightfall." With that, he got up and started in a fast lope into the forest, making sure Hail was close by. |

"okay" said hail as she picked jack up and followed Shadow she was right behind him and didn't get behind to far because she didn't know the territory |

Shadow weaved the trees before coming to the wolf border. After sniffing it, he scented that a patrol had already come through here. "A hunting patrol will be here soon, we need to hurry." He quickly started through, trotting past the trees making for the pond on the other side. If we get past that, then we will be in the safe zone. |
