I think Thomas has had enough. Or at least it seems that way, seeing that he scampered. There's no other word that could be used. He was gone. I look up at Lucifer and smile. "Thank you." My voice is quiet, and still a little waverly.

Did you know the ground is interesting? Because by the way I'm looking at it, it clearly is. "Why should I be telling a stranger about my personal life. If you need to know, because I don't have anywhere else to go." I say. "Not like I have money to go back home. If that's what you call it"

" I have a pretty ok home, you could live and work for me until you get enough money saved up for your own place, look I jut don't think you being with him is healthy "

I give Lucifer my best side eye. "Why would someone like you help someone like me. A total stranger. And why should someone like me trust someone like you?" I say. I don't want him to know I am actually considering taking his offer.

I slowly nod. "I guess I can try your offer." I say. At this I would have to deal with Thomas's morning breath.

" do you need me to take you home so you can pack and I stay there " he asked not wanting Thomas to end up hurting her

I nod. "I should pack. And get out of the abomination now that Thomas isn't forcing me into it." I say, glaring at the dress.
