Emelote's eyes glow gold and a black mist starts to form and spread, and then it was all over the clearing. Hiding Emelote and the Guild from the Masks. Emelote spins on her heels, grabbing the two Guild and pushing them forward into the shadows. Where Emelote is barely able to teleport them through the shadows away. The black mist disappears, but by then Emelote and the Guild are gone. Emelote unable to transport all three through the shadows for long were now back in the open but away from the Masks. Emelote sighs with relief,"Come on, I've got a place we can stay."

As Emelote's eyes glowed golden and a mist started to form from her, Joshua instantly knew that she was about to use more of her magic, but before he could get her and interrupt what she was doing, the mist had completely enveloped herself and the two other Guild members, making it impossible for him to see as far as he could stretch out his hands. The other three members of the Masks launched forward and only found each other in the mist, but they weren't able to see at all, meaning that they were trying to take each other down instead of taking down the thieves. Joshua stumbled around and grabbed all of them, catching a wayward fist or two but he had to get in between the chaos to make sure that they didn't hurt each other seriously.

Emelote was completely drained, as a half elf she didn't have as big as a reserve to draw on for magic. And being half elf her magic wasn't as powerful as a full blooded elf, meaning teleporting anyone else with her drained her. Anviva was a different story because the phoenix could teleport herself, to a certain extent. Emelote looks over her shoulder,"Come on. The original Guild hideout is over here. We'll rest here. Then see if we can find more escaped Guild." Emelote grimaces,"Maybe we'll find enough to riot and get the rest of the Guild back." The two Guild glance at each other, before looking back and nodding.

Joshua had to grab and toss the three other Masks out of the mist so they would stop fighting each other and pay attention to the fact that the three Guild members were now gone. He had to adjust his mask and outfit for a minute before looking at the three, who were a bit worse for wear. "It looks like the Guild is trying to find each other and come together and make sure that they continue to be a thorn in our side. Spread the word to the rest of the Masks: the Guild isn't dead just yet." The three nodded their heads and left, leaving Joshua alone to inspect the mist that still lingered. What other kind of magic is that girl capable of?

Emelote hesitates as they approach the hideout, it had been many years since it had last been occupied. Who knows what was inside? Strange creatures? Heck someone might be squatting in it. The two behind her exchange a glance and ask,"Um.. Are we going in?" Emelote glances over her shoulder,"Yes." Then she leads the two inside. The hideout was small and not that great of a hideout, but it would do for now. Emelote turns to her companions,"You're James and Hale aren't you?" The two nod, and Hale asks,"And you're Ryan's right hand. Right? Rene? Nightmare Rene?" Emelote nods,"Call me Emelote, that's my name."

Joshua wasn't able to see anything with the mist as it dissipated, and he had to leave incredibly disappointed. And she ditches once again... damn it all! How can she keep getting away from me? If I can't catch her then she's going to make me look really bad... if she isn't already. He mumbled a few things to himself before walking out of the street and back on patrol, but he wasn't in the mood for it, so he instead walked all the way to the guardhouse and reported the incident to the captain personally, intentionally omitting a few details that made him look pretty bad. And even though the captain never spoke to Joshua about the fact that this girl has now bested him several times now, he knew that it was somewhere in the back of his mind.

Suddenly a loud cry echoes the air and both James and Hale cringe away from the noise while Emelote turns towards the entrance. "Calm down, it's just Anivia." James questions,"Who?" Emelote studies the door, watching for the phoenix to come swooping in. "She's a phoenix." Hale frowns,"You own a phoenix?" Emelote shrugs,"She's my companion. I don't own her, trust me." Hale and James exchange a glance and soon the large fiery bird comes swooping in, landing on Emelote's offered arm. Emelote reaches up and scratches Anivia,"Hey, girl. Find anything." Anivia squawks and gestures at the door. A few seconds later, two more walk in. Emelote's eyes light up, she knew these two. "Maddie and Kieran glad to see you."

Joshua walked out of the guard house, a bit deflated and plenty frustrated about the whole thing with the girl that kept getting away. He walked home and got out of his outfit before returning to the streets, now devoid of his outfit he was simply a citizen under the rule of the king, and he was fine with that; he thought the king was fair with how he ruled over the citizen, so he didn't have a problem with his laws, but it was impossible to ignore that there were a few, most notably those who were affiliated with the Guild, were against his laws, but that was for another time. For right now he needed to get some food for himself to eat, not wanting to deal with any criminals for the rest of the day.

Emelote sets up the small hideout as best as she could. Most all of the things that Ryan and her had left were still there, so she was able to make some makeshift beds for the five of them. But as for food? Well Anviva had flown off to hunt and hopefully the phoenix would bring back some food for Emelote to cook over a fire. Thankfully, it wasn't too cold or too hot so they weren't worried about that. But the four were huddled around muttering about plans for breaking out the rest of the Guild as Emelote works. And honestly some of the ideas weren't sounding so bad.

Joshua grabbed a basket and began to load it up with the food he would need for the next few days, and after paying the food, he took a breath ebfore pickign the basket up and began the walk back to his home. It can be so strange at times to walk around the streets and not being in my attire, not having to look at everyone and see what they're doing to make sure that they aren't breaking the king's law. I don't have to worry about keeping people safe... it's a nice break from my constant duties. He continued to walk with purpose, not wanting anyone to take the opportunity and mug him for his goods since he didn't have the authority right now to arrest.
