Special Agent: Soleia is a special agent, who works in the homicide division. She is a high ranked individual within the division, and often works high profile cases. She is incredibly sucessful, but that comes from the abilities her dragon provides.
Character ProfileAppearanceSoleia stands above average for women at around 5'10, and weighs around 147lbs. Most of her height comes from her legs, however there is a decent amount of length to her waist. She is well muscled, and very well proportioned. She is very athletic, having played sports throughout her childhood, and then even in school she enjoyed sports. Her career in law enforcement keeps her in shape, and having to scale a dragon multiple times a day to fly, also keeps her in shape. Although she is busy with her career, whenever she does happen to have free time, she still goes to the ice rink to still play hockey (her favorite one, and the one she was best at). She has broad shoulders for a women, but everything else about her is still quite feminine. She is right hand dominant.
She has long and wavy auburn hair that she keeps up in a braid or in a tight bun to keep out of the way. Whenever she is riding her dragon, if her hair is down, the wind blows it around too much. So she prefers to keep it up, it also just looks neater. She has dark forest green eyes, which are complimentary to her hair. They often look quite dark, and whenever she is angry or stern, they look even darker. However, whenever the sun hits them just right, they are a beautiful green. They also seem to light up whenever she smiles. She works hard to keep her teeth clean, not wanting cavities or braces. She has a radiant smile, however it is hard to get a genuine smile out of her. She has fake ones that she has mastered over the years.
Soleia's skin is a fair olive-tone, slighly earthy sun-warmed from many summers spent on the beach. She also seems to be evenly tanned across her entire body, possibly from nude sunbathing. She sports her fair share of scars across her body, mostly from her childhood shenanigans and her years in hockey. Furthermore, she has scars from her career in law enforcement, all of which litter her body. None of them are major and stick out crazy, except for a single one. It is one on her forearm, across a major artery. It is a long, thin line. It came from her rookie year in law enforcement. A mission gone wrong, where she almost lost her life from blood loss. Although she survived, it took intense physical therapy to be able to use her arm again. The scar still bothers her sometimes.
She has three different styles of clothes, that depend on whatever she is doing. They all circulate around the same colors, darker colors. She rarely wears bright colors, prefering darker colors like black, grey, dark blue, etc. Whenever she is at work, she wears formal clothing, such as a formal suit. She can also be found in decent jeans and a nice shirt. Whenever she is in the field, sometimes she equips a bullet-proof vest, depending on what the situation is. She always has her weapon on her, on her hip.Whenever she is not on the clock, but has to attend events, she has a formal outfit. Very, very rarely she will wear dresses. But she prefers formal pants and shirts, honestly, a lot like what she wears for work. But her hair is usually styled half up-half down or in some other nice hair style. She likes to add some jewelry too sometimes. Then, whenever she is at home, she is most often found in comfy clothes such as sweats and a sweatshirt.Tonal/Voice Soleia has quite a pleasing-to-listen to voice. It is not too high pitched, but not very low either. It does get higher when she gets excited and she usually ends up talking much faster. However, she usually remains quite calm and so her voice remains at an almost neutral pitch. There is always a hint of authority to it, especially whenever she is dealing with other agents, since she works in a high position within the division. Personality Soleia has two distinct personalities, she often keeps them separate, however, sometimes they meld together. She has what her family calls her work personality, and her home personality. Essentially, she is different when she is at work. Not in a bad way however. Her work personality revolves more around her being focused on her work. She is highly intelligent and observant which has been key to her career. She is authoritive, but not mean or cruel. She rarely reveals anything about her personal life while at work.
She is very controlled and precise while at work, focused on her cases and getting them solved. She is emotionally guarded, and while she bonds well with her coworkers, she prefers to keep certain things and feelings under lock. She is a strategic thinker, constantly thinking and working to stay ahead. She is quiet and authoritive, commanding others with only her prescence.
Her home personality makes her seem much warmer and welcoming. She is warmer, sarcastic, and even playful. She has much more emotional weaknesses and vulnerabilities, but still tries to keep control over it. She is more willing to show that she is tired or exhausted by things, and she has odd comforts, likes, and dislikes. Nothing weird, just things that make her seem more human.
She loves animals, and that is most often shown whenever she is with her dragon. She usually is much more open with her dragon no matter where she is. But, she is the most open with Kaldrax than anybody else. She is much more affectionate with Kaldrax and her family than with anybody.
Something that is common no matter which personality is present is her sarcastic side. It tends to be more jokey than harsh, however when she is mad, it gets a little cruel. She is incredible at interrogation and sometimes that carries over into personal life. She constantly watches people and observes their behavior.
Weaknesses and Flaws
Tactial Intelligence: She cannot turn this off, it is almost always present. Leading her to be a little untrusting, and overthinks.
Loyalty: Her loyalty is one of her greatest downfalls. People have attempted to exploit this, and it has unfortuately put the people she loves in danger once before.
Control Issues: She is used to being in control of herself, her environment, and outcomes. If things start to go wrong too fast, she begins to panic.
Emotional Avoidance: She avoids dealing with feelings, everywhere. Even though she can open up more whenever she is at home, she hates to. Only Kaldrax knows everything since they are bonded in such a powerful way. She deflects easily, and bottles things up much more often than she should.
Trust Issues: She has trouble with trusting, beside her family and dragon, it took a little bit for her to trust her coworkers. Thus, her unit she works with in law enforcement is small and consistent.
Independence: She prefers to do things herself, sometimes she forgets that she has a unit she can fall back to or ask for help. Kaldrax has to remind her that she is not alone.
Strengths
Tactial Intelligence: She reads situations and people fast, noticing details most people miss.
Emotional Compartmentalization: She can separate her home and work life, which is very beneficial for her, as it doesn't allow aspects from one to slow her down in the other.
Loyalty: She is fiercely loyal, and there is nothing she will not do for those who gain her trust.
Authority: She naturally commands respect and when she talks, people listen. This is benefical to her because she doesn't have to fight to make people respect and listen to her.
Resilience: She is very hard to break, she functions well even under pressure and recovers quickly. This comes from her bad habit of bottling things up, thus she is emotionally closed off. While she is hard to break, reslience can also be a downfall for her.
Patience: With an admirable sense of patience, Soleia exhibits composure and poise, even in the most trying circumstances. The ability to remain calm and level-headed allows her to evaluate situations objectively and make thoughtful decisions.

Bonded Dragon. Alive. There is nobody Soleia is closer to, they are bonded for life. Kaldrax is a terrifying dragon, however he is strongly protective with Soleia and the two share a deep connection. They are the most vulnerable and open with each other than anybody else.MiscellaneousTalents/Special SkillsAthlete: She played sports her entire childhood, and while she does not anymore, her career in law enforcement keep her in very good shape. She also loves to run and work out, thus adding to her athleticism.Master Illusionist: Soleia possesses an incredible sleight-of-hand, misdirection, and sense trickery. It has been incredibly helpful in her career, specifically in any undercover work, interrogations, and surveillance. The ability to misguide and trick suspects and criminals have led to many arrests.
Gun Marksmen: As law enforcement, she is incredible with a gun. However, she also relies on hand to hand combat and her dragon. She still goes to the gun range to keep her shooting skills on par just in case.
Hand to Hand Combat: She is incredibly skilled in hand-to-hand combat, having taken multiple types of defense classes. She never wants to feel like she is vulnerable and unable to protect herself. So she trained to be able to protect herself without a gun or her dragon. She has proven herself capable of holding her own against men twice her size, also using their strength against them.
