Age:
Five
Gender:
Masculine
Role: The Heir

Appearance:
d5vyu6m-d7ae8846-808a-4835-8a6c-da44ebcd6c82.jpg
[credit goes to Khalliysgraphy on da]

A male of behemoth proportions due to his genes, Bǫlverkr stands at over the average height at 35 inches and weighs over 120lbs. His physique is a lithe yet muscular one, his legs giving him much of his height, as well as his fur being long and spiked at his neck. His body looks lanky, almost awkward from a distance with hardly any muscle, but don't underestimate him. Bǫlverkr's muscle is hidden beneath his pelt and can be seen easily in his chest and hind legs. He is stronger than he looks. By all means, he welcomes all to test it out if they truly don't believe him.

In terms of colouration, the male has unique colours with a mainly red tint. His entire pelt has a red/orange hue with black being overlayed on the top in an almost peppered look. Upon that black is a white layered upon that, and so on. His legs and underbelly are made up of a cream that is tinted with red once more.

His eyes are an amber and quite menacing/intimidating. Bǫlverkr's voice is a deep, raspy sound, and his scent consists of a strong smell of smoke, almost like a forest. fire. Additionally, the male has several scars upon his pelt ranging in both size and depth.

Personality:
Cunning - Manipulative - Resilient - Skilled - Opinionated - Ambitious - Selfless - Slightly Malevolent (?) - Aggressive - Vindictive - Determined - Loyal - Quick on his feet

Bǫlverkr is a male of complex personality. Is he bad? Is he good?

Could be be both?

The male is cunning for starters, able to think quickly and come up with different plans for a certain situation. He could deceit anything and anyone and is rather good when it comes to trickery. So, in a way, he is fairly intelligent.. simply in a manipulative, scheming sort of way. Indeed, Bǫlverkr is fairly manipulative, able to twist words and control things in order to get what he wants. On rare occasions, he also gaslights. A simple, "I'm sorry you think that." Or, "I don't recall that." often escapes his lips in order to harm or confuse the one he's conversing with. Granted, there are times where he will admit that he's wrong, but if he strongly believes that he's right, then it's a difficult arguement to win.

Now, he isn't all that bad. After all, he has some good traits. For one, he's resilient, always recovering rapidly in difficult situations. The moment he gets knocked down, he jumps back up again. Bǫlverkr doesn't like showing weakness, so even if truly hurt or in pain, he will simply carry on as if nothing is wrong. Though it is a rare thing for him to get hurt. You see, Bǫlverkr is highly skilled. He's skilled in hunting, in fighting, in leading, in thinking, in killing, you name it. Does he think of himself better than others? Perhaps, though he strives to help others and teach them what he knows, so it cancels out. Right?

As if his cockiness isn't bad enough, he's also opinionated. Well, he has a high rank, he sort of has to be, but he jumps into conversations if he disagrees. He's bold with his words, too, and can be quite good with them. He deceives easily, so of course he could use his words well, always choosing the proper vocabulary and knowing how to twist words around. That's perhaps the most eerie thing about him. That, and the way he stares at others, as if he could see right into their very soul.

Slightly malevolent, Bǫlverkr is the type to inflict harm upon an enemy without a second thought. In fact, he is malevolent towards anybody not of his pack. Call him sadistic, but he simply thinks of himself as weary. These are difficult times that need difficult measures. He's simply adapting. So yes, he will inflict harm and pain upon another, sometimes out of spite, sometimes for fun. He doesn't really care. Would he kill another? Sure. He has no empathy towards a stranger or others. In a sense, he does act like a psychopath at times and slightly mad, but despite being complex and rather evil in a sense, Bǫlverkr is a good individual at times.

He has some good qualities. He puts his pack before anything for starters and can be selfless towards them. He does his best for them and himself, after all, he likes his rank and the power that comes with it, but that's besides the point. Yes, he's hurtful, manipulative, and so on, but he cares for his pack, and that should say something. I mean, Bǫlverkr doesn't care for anything, but he cares for his pack. Not to mention he's loyal, always doing anything for them to ensure that they have an easier life. He is also ambitious and determined for them.

Loyalty and respect is big for Bǫlverkr. He treats both with great importance. If somebody told him that they loved him, wonderful, but if they said that they trusted and respected him? He would take that information right to his heart. Thus, if undermined or seeing himself or another be disrespected, Bǫlverkr grows rather enraged, a sight one never wishes to see.

Despite being manipulative, bad, slightly cruel, Bǫlverkr is also honest. He is one to never lie. Twist words, yes, but lie? No, even a wolf such as himself knows not to. The male is a wolf that keeps his word and sees through it, yet another good quality when it comes to him. Not to mention he is also welcome to company. One need not ask to approach him for anything. Yes, he can kill without a second thought, yes, he is deranged, and a murderer, but he's nice towards those in his pack. He wouldn't do anything to them, not unless truly motivated.

So, while he's bad, he's also good in a complex, intelligent, psychopathic, twisted way.

Name: Nazar
meaning: evil eye sore

Age:
Five
Gender:
Masculine

Appearance:

[credit goes to Quiet-bliss on da]

Personality:
Angry - Vengeful - Menacing - Skilled - Bold/opinionated - Driven - Selfish - Greedy - Spiteful - Wishes to be the best - Determined - Doesn't think, simply acts - Tone deaf - Rude

Nazar is angry. He is angry with his parents, with his siblings, with himself, and with life. Why? Simple. He sees himself as the best. He sees himself as the heir, not his brother. Thus, Nazar is always furious when it comes to that topic. If one thing is clear, he wants to lead. He is spiteful and vengeful towards his brother, as well as their parents and other siblings. In short, Nazar is not a nice individual. If others believe Bǫlverkr cruel, then they should take a look at him. Bǫlverkr can be forgiving and is selfless. Nazar is anything but. He craves power. He craves to be respected and feared. He can't do that without leading.

The male is menacing beyond belief, full of coldness and anger, it's difficult not to be. He is also bold and opinionated. If somebody speaks, he'll speak over them. If somebody is telling a story, he'll interrupt them on purpose and steal the light. He is also cocky with a large ego, not to mention flirtatious beyond belief. Nazar is similar to his father in that manner.

The male is selfish and greedy, wanting what is best for himself and not the land he resides upon. Between himself and the pack, he'd sacrifice them all for his freedom. Nazar cares little for them. The only reason he acts as if he does is for their respect and devotion. Thus, while he is selfish and greedy, he will actually do things for them so that they love him. After all, he basks in attention.

Nazar does not think when he acts. He fights, he argues, he does stupid things without thinking them through properly. It's a wonder how he doesn't start a war among everyone with how little sense he has when it comes to important matters. Rude, spoiled, flirty, Nazar is certainly not a likable individual, so he puts on a show to others. If he can't win his father over, he'll win over the pack.

Name:
Yelena;
Often goes by Elle or Len
Age:
4 Years
Gender:
Female
Rank:
Omega
Desired Rank:
Anything Higher
Appearance:

Credit for Image Belongs to Khalliysgraphy on DA. Stock Image.

Yelena is a creature of naturally small stature, coming off as unimposing when seen. There is not a thread within the female that makes her come across as threatening, there have been fiercer pups seen than the petite she. Standing at a whopping 27 inches tall, at most, and barely coming in at 70 lbs, on a good day, the female is tiny, down right dainty really. If it weren't for her obvious lupine characteristics, one might mistake her for a coyote of unusual coloring at times.

Holding a more slender and slim build, there isn't a whole lot of meet to the female. Normally a female like her would look lithe and graceful, but, given her rank, and her lack of nutrition, the female comes off as skinny, near scrawny really. Still, the female isn't hard on the eyes. Due to her more delicate physique, the lack of weight doesn't look sickly on the female, and she's able to uphold a closer to normal weight on the scraps she's able to eat. If she were a larger wolf, it would be a different story.

Strengths wise, it's clear that Yelena isn't a she-wolf designed for power and strength. If she were at full health she would be perfectly adept at speed and agility, perhaps even stamina if she did get strong enough. She wouldn't be winning any wrestling competitions, but races? Definitely. It would be a wonder of who could catch her if she decided to run.

The dark female has a coat of beautiful coloration that many often mistake for just black. Instead her base color is actually more of a very dark brown, like the darkest of chocolate. Through her coat though, are black guard hairs, making it appear even darker and taking on that near black appearance. There are lighter colors mixed throughout it too, primarily grey and a lighter brown, that help turn the medley of colors into one cohesive unit of mild darkness. Her fur looks like a living entity, highlighting areas to show off her more defined features, and darkening others to make her seem more fearsome than she is.

Her fur itself is more mid lengthed, but is rather thick, providing a fair amount of insulation and cushion to her thin frame. Her coat is nothing to scoff at, and should she ever be recognized as anything other than an omega, it would be obvious that she is an attractive she wolf.

Yelena's eyes stand out against her coat, a bright golden hue radiating within them. They are bright and burning, the truest shade of topaz that makes it hard to hold her gaze if she were ever allowed to. The female's scent, when not marred with dirt or blood, is something soft and soothing, like faint jasmine on a fall breeze, the herby but floral scent mixing with that of the forest leaves.

Personality:

Yelena is a female with a heart of almost entirely pure gold. What she lacks in size, the female certainly makes up for it in heart. Known for being incredibly kind, caring, and overall sweet, there truly isn't a mean bone in the female's body. She isn't spiteful, she isn't petty, she always is the first to try and help others, and only wants the best for them. Len is a rather selfless creature, almost too selfless at times. She's the type of canine to always put others before herself, her news and wants coming last, and she has never minded when her efforts for someone else's goals and left her own lacking. As far as she is concerned, she can work on her own things later. Yelena just likes to see other wolves happy, and she never hesitates to do what she can to help make it possible.

Highly compassionate, the female also can be a bit innocent too. She isn't the type to see the bad things about wolves, always choosing to find something good within them and focus on that. However, she's also accepting of others too. She never tries to judge people for their own flaws or issues, and is always the first to try and accept them for how they are. She believes everyone, no matter how bad they are, deserves compassion and love.

Len is a rather easy going and relaxed female, no one that is hard to get along with. She can be a bit quiet at times, perhaps even a little shy, but that mostly comes from her rank as an omega. She is a friendly wolf, capable of being social, but her rank limits that, and has developed her into being a more quiet creature. Still, though, the she-wolf is relaxed, not one who is naturally more uptight or strict like others. She likes to go with the flow, and sees herself as more of a carefree spirit. If Yelena had it her way, she'd live like the wind, following it where ever it took her. She loves to laugh and enjoy life, the little she's able to, and enjoys being in the company of others who don't try to bend her into some mold she can't fit into. She is a light soul, and she wants to be allowed to remain so.

Free spirted and a dreamer, Yelena loves to let her mind wander. She isn't rebellious in the slightest, often not found testing the rules of the pack, with a few exceptions of course. She is much more likely to be found going the path of least resistance, but it doesn't mean the female doens't hope or dream about a life in a different way. She often can be found day dreaming her way through the day, coming up with differeny scenarios of what could be. This often leads her to losing track of time, something that others tend not to be overly fond of. Still, the female is devoted to others, doting in a way to show her affection towards them however she can. She is supportive of them, and can even be a little naive. Keep in mind, though, that Yelena is often choosing to be naive about things. She is choosing to only look on the bright side of things. She refuses to succumb to the darkness and misery of what her life could be, instead focuses on any little bright thing she can find.

Affiliations:
Bolverkr - He is everything to her. Despite her rank and his, the two might as well be considered best friends. Having known him most of her life, there is no wolf Len is more comfortable with. He takes up a constant residence in her mind and heart, and she's happy to let him stay there. With all the rules of the pack, Yelena knows there is nothing there that could ever become anything, but she lets her heart dabble in a little bit of hope. Though, she isn't entirely certain her feelings aren't reciprocated.
Kin:
None;
She would have had six siblings but they've all left the pack, failed the trails, or died.
Crush:
Mayhaps a certain someone, but she dare not breathe about it.
Mate:
None, she isn't allowed.
Offspring:
None, see above.
Though it's all she wants one day.
Others:
Yelena was born the smallest pup of her litter, not quite a true runt, but small enough that the difference was noticable. This meant she lack the endurance, strength, and stamina of the other younger wolves to pass the trials. She got close the second time, but it just wasn't enough. That, along with her belief that the trials are foolish and barbaric and should be what decides if a wolf is "worthy" of being in the pack, are what has landed her as an Omega.
Thunderbirds are just storm Phoenixes.

[Bǫlverkr]

A male of tall physique and disposition stepped gingerly across the earthy ground. Behind him, a crooked tail followed, swaying and rocking against his hind leg. His large eyes were focused upon something. No, someone. A dame of shorter height with a darkened pelt in comparison to his own.

It was a female he was not meant to associate himself with, let alone speak her name, but he spoke it nonetheless.

"Yelena."

Oh, and what a smile spread upon his lips when her name rolled off of his tongue! And how he leaned towards her, so rapidly and suddenly, as if trying to intimidate her. Bǫlverkr didn't stop there either. He continued leaning closer, and closer, and closer, until his muzzle was inches away from Yelena's own, his lips completely peeled back to reveal a set of jagged teeth.

Holding the pose, the male tilted his head slightly, staring at her neck. A few seconds later, he lunged forward, teeth clicking together millimeters away from her skin, pretending to bite her. It was only when he pulled back did he do something uncalled for. The male began to actually giggle. Not a simple, short giggle either, but a lengthy one, full of snorts and chuckles. "Oh.. oh, I'm sorry, I shouldn't tease," he wheezed out breathlessly, left paw slapping against the ground to compose himself. It was an odd sight to behold, but Bǫlverkr was an unstable individual. It was to be expected.

"Walk with me to the meeting."

It was no request, no question. It was a demand, an order. Bǫlverkr wished for Yelena to walk by his side to the daily pack meeting. She couldn't deny him, he was her superior, not to mention closest companion. However, he knew that there would be looks. Gazes, followed by gossip and frustration.

Ah, what a pity she was of the lowest rank, and he one of the highest. He wasn't allowed to converse with her nor even look at her, but did that stop Bǫlverkr? Of course not. The male did what he pleased. He couldn't simply abandon Len based on her rank alone. They had been friends since his eyes had opened for the first time. To turn his back on her would be a crime itself.

"Tell me, has anybody come to harm you as of late? You know I'll have their head." He couldn't change her rank, not while his parents reigned. It was their duty alone to change one's title in the pack. As far as her role went, Bǫlverkr could do nothing. Oh, it wasn't as if he didn't try! He had debated, bargained, even claimed that Yelena had saved his life so that she may advance in the hierarchy, but it was useless. To change an omega's rank would show weakness, as his father would say. It would show the pack and enemies that they were merciful, and that was unacceptable. No, according to Bǫlverkr's father, he would prefer being a feared and respected ruler rather than a just and giving one.

So, if he couldn't change her rank, he could certainly check up on her ever so often.

Staring at her for a brief moment, he broke out into a leisurely stroll, paws making shallow imprints on the ground. His mouth lay agape, tongue lolling out to fight against the heat of the sun upon his back. Even the shade of trees did little to aid his discomfort. It was fall, but some days held more warmth than others. Today was one of those warm days.

"I'm dreading today," he suddenly declared, "my parents wish to have a conversation with me later. I can only imagine what it will be about this time." Confiding in Len, Bǫlverkr rolled his eyes with such force, it was a wonder how they didn't pop out of their sockets. Lips twitching, his eyes grew blank. "If they weren't my parents, I think I would have killed them already." Whether he was speaking the truth or simply teasing was unknown, for Bǫlverkr was known to be rather.. uneasy at times. The only reason his parents didn't declare him truly mad was because they were the ones that caused him to turn out this way. That, and because while he understood little about many things, he did understand how to lead and how to put the pack first.

Blinking, he turned to Len, "but don't tell them I told you that." Offering a simple wink, they strolled into a small clearing. The gentle sound of the waterfall located their dens could be heard, even this small distance away. However, his ears were not focused upon that, but upon the sight and sounds before him.

"I haven't got all day," came the bellowing of a deep masculine voice. "Gather, gather!" It spoke again, powerful voice screeching through the land, echo reflecting back in an eerie manner. "Please, everybody settle, we have some wondrous news!" Came a softer, feminine voice, though equally as firm.

There, upon a grand fallen log, stood his parents. Karau, his father, stood in the middle. On his left, Kezia, his mother. "Good grief," Bǫlverkr muttered, knowing Len had seen it, too. There, upon his father's right side stood Chu'a, his newest.. affiliation. "Another mistress," he added on, his lips curling upwards in disgust. How many was that now? Three? Four? Truly, Bǫlverkr had lost count. Between him and his half-siblings running around, it was like a madhouse.

He wouldn't have cared so much this time if Chu'a was not younger than he himself.

And that was not all. Beside his mother stood yet another startling figure.

"What's Misha doing up there?" He spoke to both himself and Len, only to feel a sudden presence beside him.

"You're in for some fun, brother."

Turning, Bǫlverkr faced Nazar, his younger brother, who wore a satanic grin on his face, his body twirling around with excitement and pleasure. "Oh, wait'll you see what father and mother have planned for you! They even let me have my own say in it, they did." Grin widening, the sight only made Bǫlverkr's hackles raise. "What did you do?" He questioned, eyes meeting his father's upon the log before turning back to Nazar.

"Let's just say your days as a free individual are over, big brother." Releasing a satisfied sigh, it was then when his eyes rested upon Yelena, his smile fading. "You're with her again?" Muzzle wrinkled in distaste, Nazar frowned. "You," he pointedly spoke, muzzle jabbing in the air in her direction. "Get to the back of the group. That's where the lowest of the low reside, but then again, you already knew that." Stepping forward, Nazar continued ridiculing, eyes staring into Yelena's own with menace.

"That's enough, step back," responded Bǫlverkr, blocking Nazar's view, who merely smiled once more. "You won't be so bold if I tell father of what I saw. Conversing with her again? Who do you think he'll punish more when he learns, you, or her? And I'd hate to see how creative he would be."

Chest inflating, Bǫlverkr opened his mouth, releasing a small snarl. There was truth in Nazar's words, though that wasn't what frustrated him most. It was knowing that his brother would tell on him, rather than keep it to himself. He was known for that, always stirring up trouble. It was why Bǫlverkr hardly spoke to him anymore. He wished to change, and Nazar only brought out the worst in him.

That was why Bǫlverkr leaned forward, mouth open and prepared to take a chunk out of his brother's neck and-

"Bǫlverkr!"

Snapping his mouth shut, he glanced at his father, who wore a big smile. Did he miss something? Why was everyone cheering?

"That's right! On this blessed day, my son, my heir, is betrothed!"

Yelena

A slender figure rested upon it's haunches as it sat there momentarily, enjoying a moment of solace. It wasn't terribly often that Yelena found herself with time alone with only her thought, free of any nagging words or teeth from other wolves. Being an omega in the pack, she had long since grown used to their treatment of her, but she still enjoyed those brief breaths where she could pretend things were different.

A faux reality where she wasn't an omega, where she didn't have to worry about when her coat would get marred again but more so by who. A place where her best friend, the singular soul that made her chest constrict with unknown whispers of what if wasn't looked down upon for some much as breathing in her direction. A reality where her dreams could become true, and, perhaps, they could be together without the worry of what it might caught.

Her ears flicked at the sound of another approaching her and she prepared herself mentally for the on slaught of abuse. However, she recognized the voice immediately and a soft smile stretched across her muzzle. Turning her head, she had every intention of playing along, however the mock lunge for her caused her to instinctively flinch away, her head pulling towards her chest to protect her neck, while simultaneously tilting to show submission. It wasn't something Len did to insult Bolverkr, or to guilt him, it was an instinctual responce to protect herself from something that had happened far too often for her comfort.

A soft chuckle lilted from her lips and she swiveled her ears in his direction as she listened. "I'm sorry," she sheepishly apologized for her reaction and reached out to press her nose against his slightly. With him, she feared not the consequences of her actions.

Rising onto her slim paws, she treaded after him, keeping up with his easy pace with little difficulty. Her ears flicked back, though, when he asked if she had any trouble with any wolves. She knew he wouldn't hesitate to defend her honor, if she had any, but she didn't want to put him in such a position. Instead she shook her head, and was careful to carry her gait in a way that hid the relatively fresh wound to her left ride, right behind her front limb.

The omega she-wolf listened as he spoke of his family and she nodded gently, knowing how he felt about his parents and why he did. She wasn't terribly fond of her Alphas either, not that she could ever voice her disapproval. "I couldn't even if I wanted to," she joked softly, finding mild humor in the idea of her even being givent he chance to talk to the alphas. It really was amusing.

As the reached the meeting she was careful not to look at any of the other wolves, fully aware of the glares she was given, particularly from all the other females. Jealousy she had been told. They were all jealous that it was here side Bolverkr had chosen to walk beside. A lowly omega.

A chill crept up her spine then, followed by the anxiety inducing voice of a male Yelena was all to familar with. Nazar. The male terrified her. And his words bit into her like cold steel, actually, she imagined the steel would hurt less.

When his words addressed her, she found herself dropping her eyes and head a bit, though she did the opposite of what he ordered. Instead she shifted closer to Bolverkr, daring to press into his side a bit to take shelter from his brother. Normally she wouldn't have been so bold, but the male made her witless with fear and all she longed for was him to go away.

It wasn't him who caused her breath to get caught in her throat though. For her chest to squeeze and her blood to roar in her ears. Sudden nausea swept over her and Yelena found herself becoming dizzy. Had she heard that wrong? No. No she hadn't.

Taking a step to the side to steady herself, she turned her eyes onto Bolverkr, trying to keep the complete hurt and loss from showing in them. Unfortunately, she didn't have the same luck with her voice as she murmured brokenly.

"Congratulations."

[Bǫlverkr]

A series of cheers were heard, filtering through the air and breaking the eerie silence that stood within the shadowed forest. Murmurs, giggles, and whatnot were sounded, all eyes upon his figure. It was natural that everybody was excited. He was the heir, and a betrothal meant that he, in turn, would produce children of his own to ensure the pack and his lineage would continue. It was custom, filled with hopes that he would produce a son to continue his family's reign.

"Congratulations, brother," came the first words from Nazar, tone so cutthroat it made Bǫlverkr sound like a saint. "I curse you," he spat in reply, eyes boring into the figure of his brother's red coat as he watching him saunter off, a small prep in his step. It wasn't until the crowd had begun to disperse did the masculine notice how his nails dug into the ground, ripping up tufts of grass and trampling flowers to the point of no return. "This is preposterous!" Had he not been told since a pup that he was free to choose whomever he desired? That there would be no fixated alliance between himself and another?

Such anger had filled him, it felt as if he were physically ill. Thus, when Len congratulated him, his gaze settled onto her with such intensity, it was a wonder how she didn't cower. "Don't congratulate me over a betrothal that will never happen," he hissed, pure venom seeping out with his words. It was always the one closest to him who he typically projected his rage onto, but Yelena was an exception. She was one whom he could never hurt. After all, it was her expression that had caused him to release a jagged breath, composing himself.

"It was never discussed with me." His tone was softer, calming, even, when addressing Yelena. "I'll manage to talk them out of it." Bǫlverkr's eyes fell to the ground, his brows furrowing. They can't do this, his mind seemed to scream, his head bobbing along with his inner voice.

I have a right, they can't take that away.

Who do they think they are?

I'm the heir. This isn't fair. I can choose..

They said I could choose.

"They can't do this," he mumbled, eyes snapping upwards and shaking away his intrusive thoughts. A single laugh could be heard emerging from his throat, a disgruntled and manic one before it slowly transitioned into a growl. "I'll fix this." Nodding his head several times, his eyes twitched a singular time before finally landing on Len for a prolonged amount of time, as if memorizing her. "I'll speak with them, see if I can talk myself out of this." Yes, that's what I'll do.

"Wait for me?" He asked, staring at Len for a moment before gyrating, his pace quick and steps heavy. While the others departed, getting on with their daily duties, his parents remained, as if expecting Bǫlverkr's presence. Along them stood Misha and Nazar, Chu'a being the closest to the two leaders. Their forms were facing one another, conversing and boasting about the wonderful news.

"Leave us," Bǫlverkr's voice interrupted, snarling at the mistress and causing all five pairs of eyes to land upon him. It was his father who made the first move, nodding to Chu'a and shrugging her away, to which she released a single snort before sashaying away. It was only a few weeks ago that she was humble and quiet, though given the role of mistress and gaining his father's favour had caused Chu'a to adapt an entirely new persona.

If she kept it up, she'd make a pretty rug.

"My word is final," came the voice of Karau, voice deep, one suited for a king. "And what of my word?" Countered Bǫlverkr, standing his ground. "Have I no right to choose who I'd like by my side?" -- "You mean somebody like your little omega?" Sneered Nazar, not even daring to say her name, as if it were a curse. As if it weren't even worthy of speaking. "Nobody asked you, Nazar. Why are you even here? This conversation has nothing to do with you. Father, dismiss him. I wish to speak with you and mother. Alone." That went for Misha, too. He had nothing against her. He didn't hate her nor did he like her. She was neutral, and like Nazar, she wasn't a part of this.

Karau took a moment to take in his son's request before releasing a singular tsk. "No, I don't think I will," came his response, staring down Bǫlverkr. There was an unsettling pause. "Why so sudden?" Came Bǫlverkr's next question, gaze hardened and lips twitching. "There was never mention of me being paired up. I want to know why now."

It was Kezia, his mother, who spoke this time. "You're around the age your father and I were announced to be paired. We felt as if it were right." --"And look at you now, you two hate one another. I mean, he has mistresses to please him because your mere presence annoys him so." Just like that, what was meant to be a formal conversation escalated. That had caused his father to release a growl, his figure stepping forward. "Remember who you speak to!" He thundered, pupils nearly slits.

Snake, Bǫlverkr couldn't help but think.

He cared not for his father, but it was his mother's reaction that had caused guilt to spew from within him. Her small flinch and sudden silence at his cruelty, but were his words not true? "I'm sorry," he mumbled to her, but she would not meet his eyes. "You need to learn responsibility. You've spent too long fooling around, and I've let you.."

"..You've grown weak. I can't have that for a son." -- "Karau!" Came a gasp from Kezia, fear etched in her voice as she gazed with uncertainty at both her mate and eldest son. Nazar only leaned in, always a lover of drama. "Like father, like son," sneered Bǫlverkr, all sense of manners vanishing. This was no longer a talk, but an arguement. "I want you to revoke this. I want you to hold a meeting and cancel this news. I will find someone. There doesn't have to be a rush-"

"The pack wants confirmation. A betrothal means strength, it enhances your power as the heir. You should be thanking me rather than insulting me. There is a reason why our line has been the leaders for decades. Now, I won't hear any more about the situation. It's final." -- "I'm not done," snapped Bǫlverkr, only to be cut off. "You're dismissed. Don't make me have others remove you from my presence physically."

Stiffening, Bǫlverkr stared at all four figures remaining. "I won't let up on this." He spoke a final time before whirling around and stalking off, head slouched and lips peeled back in a silent snarl.

Where was Yelena.

Misha

The pale female stood in a relaxed manor beside the leading pair, her betrothed's parents. Glee quivered within her very frame, and it took all she had not to shake with anticipation. She had done it. She had successfully secured her place a high rank within the pack, and it was all because of Bolverkr's fascination with that pathetic omega that often followed him everywhere.

Her lips twitched as the mere thought of her seemed to present her very image in her vision. Of course, it became obvious then that the little wolf was actually there, and with Bolverkr too. Her lip twitched, and her eyes narrowed as she thought of the different ways she could have the female's head torn from her shoulders. Would it be hard to simply have her thrown out of the pack? Could she get his parents to see her reason? A distraught mate-to-be that their son is already engaging in a nefarious affair with an omega. Yes, she probably could.

Her eyes drifted to Bolverkr, and she snorted slightly at him, but remained still when his father said he wouldn't send his brother away, which, in turn, she assumed meant her. After all, she was now his intended, and he had no right to order her around. Still, his reaction and dissatisfaction with the pairing was beginning to get on her nerves, and part of her had wished she had walked away so that she didn't have to hear him protest their pairing so much. Surely she was favorable to that omega. He had to see that, or, at least, in time he would.

Her ears lifted when the Alpha Male dismissed him and Bolverkr turned, storming away. Quickly she dipped her head in respect to the alphas and towed after him, paws carrying her to his side quickly.

"Bolverkr, my dear," she purred softly, trying to keep her voice soothing. "I know this comes as new to you, but why don't we go and talk about it? I'm sure it'll make your parents happy to see us spend time together, and you can get some things off your chest," she gently rubbed her head into his shoulder, and looked up at him throw her lashes.

To her side she could see a pair of bright, sad eyes watching her and she smirked slightly, her teeth flashing at the female in warning. Bolverkr was hers.

[Bǫlverkr]

"You shouldn't have done that," came a singsong voice. "I mean, I knew you were unstable, but even I got secondhand embarrassment from that," it continued, rambling on, and on..

..and on.

"Father hates you now. You shouldn't have spoken to him like that, not to mention mother's face when you insulted her. She'll probably weep over it later on."

..and on.

"You need to control your anger. Tch, that was kind of pathetic. It was like a child throwing a tantrum. You should know better than to question what is asked for you."

..and on.

"Such a temper."

A flash of movement advanced. Such a sudden action could never have been predicted, not until the blur of brown stood upon Nazar, pinning him against the ground. "See? That's my point precisely," the voice continued. "Like I said, temper. You need to.. skdfskgh!" A singular black claw ran up Nazar's chest, stopping at his throat until Bǫlverkr's paw as a whole pressed down on his throat. "Enough speaking," he hissed between clenched teeth, saliva coating his muzzle and dripping upon his brother's face.

"Gurslhgks!" Came Nazar's response, eyes narrowing before widening. "You speak too much for somebody's whose name means eye sore." This time, Bǫlverkr was met with silence. "You have no right to insert yourself in my business. What I say or do does not involve you, are we clear?" -- "Asjfhka! Gdsh!" -- "I'm sorry, what was that? I couldn't quite understand?" Bǫlverkr taunted, leaning farther in. "Yshe!" -- "One more time, I misheard.." He continued, enjoying the predicament.

"Yes!" Came a gasp from Nazar.

"Good." Pressing against his brother's throat for a moment longer, Bǫlverkr released the pressure, resulting in the younger canine rolling onto his stomach and gulping in air. "You're crazy!" He hollered, picking himself up shakily. "You tried to kill me! My own brother!" Crawling, Nazar slunk away, leaving a farther distance between the two. "You're dramatic. I barely did anything." -- "Don't manipulate me!" Quipped Nazar, waving a paw in Bǫlverkr's direction. "I know your tactics," he hissed, still gasping and gagging.

"Good, behave, and I won't have to use them. You know, as the heir and your future leader, I would advise.." Trailing off, Bǫlverkr's ears flickered, twirling around to catch approaching steps. A singular chuckle could be seen coming from Nazar, his expression no longer angry, but full of amusement. "Oh, of course. You're right, brother. Anyways, I should truly be going. Like you said, your drama is none of my business."

There was only one thing that could have caused such a dramatic shift in Nazar's tone, and that was-

"Misha," Bǫlverkr stated, releasing a heavy sigh before spinning around to face her. By then, Nazar had scurried off, though he probably wasn't far. The male enjoyed feasting on the worries and pain of others. "This truly isn't a good time," he added on, only to be silenced by her next words. There was nothing enjoyable about her presence, which could clearly be read upon the masculine's face. His maw scrunched up in disgust, body tense from contact as his eyes stared at her with pure.. Well, dislike.

"Talk? Whatever is there to talk about?" Did she truly believe that he would speak to her about his feelings? "Misha," he began, "you listened in to my conversation with my father and mother." His eyes studied hers with a sense of blankness, digging into her. "Do you truly believe I wish to make them happy by being seen with you?" Releasing a tch, his maw wrinkled further. "Obviously you haven't been listening, so here's a gentle reminder." Bǫlverkr stepped back, setting boundaries between them. "We don't belong to one another, nor will I have any affiliation with you. All I can offer you is my friendship, but let me make one thing clear."

Motioning to her with his snout, Bǫlverkr shrugged. "This.. will never happen."

Without another word, he continued to walk, not expecting her to follow. Then again, knowing Misha, he was sure she would.
