⋆.˚ Riptide ran down the dirt path, panting harshly. His eyes wide with fear as he runs further and further. ⊹ ࣪ ˖ ``Here, puppy, puppy`` ⋆.˚ His ears drop instantly at the sound of voice, he looks over his shoulder at the wolf chasing behind him. He didn't reply with his own voice, knowing he would stutter. He looked back in front of him, worry filled his face expression. ⊹ ࣪ ˖
---
⋆.˚ Riptide continued running, his paws almost tripping over each other several times. His legs and forearms were beginning to give out beneath his torso. Riptide refused to give in for rest, there was no time for bullshit. He grunts, his legs giving out and cries out "Damn it!" He looks behind his near and see's the other wolf is gone. He pants harshly, jumping up but his legs give out once again needing rest. He pins his ears. ⊹ ࣪ ˖
---
⋆.˚ Riptide forces himself off the ground, shaking off very quickly and dashes away from the eerie scene. His paws pound against the ground. That ShadowClaw Warrior scared him badly after coming out of literal nowhere. He sighs softly, hoping he had lost the warrior. He makes his way home and lays in the clearing beside the den. His ear flicks softly and he lifts his head up towards the den. He stands up and crawls into the hole, curling around a small bundle of fur before finally, falling asleep. ⊹ ࣪ ˖

Vellack didn't hesitate, imediatly Sending Ashka after the Rouge Wolf knowing she would show no mercy. Vellack trusted Ashka to do her duty to hunt this rouge. Vellack circled back around, checking on his pack. Making sure the pups were safe with his Luna and sleeping soundly. Walking into their temporary den he saw Amanita (His Luna) awake. She had their pup curled in closely to her pelt keeping them warm.

Amanita was worried. Hearing the noise outside the den and seeing her daughter bolt off she couldn't help but question what was going on.
Looking to her mate she asks, "What is happening out their? Why did Ashka take off?"
Vellack walked close to her nuzzling the side of her neck to ease her worry "There was a Rogue, nothing Ashka can't handle. Everything will be find. I will Alert the other packs shortly of the rouges appearance"
Amanita was not settled with the answers she got but didn't push. She knew it was for the best not to push for more details while in this situation.

The second Alpha Vellack gave the command to head a chase She was off. Ashka had been waiting for a good while hoping for a wild hunt.
"Here Puppy, puppy" She taunts.
When the rouge looked at her she saw the fear in his eyes, making her smile as she didn't let loose on the chase.
She chased him for a while before she saw Ignatius in the shadows. Knowing he had better skills to track this rouge in secret then she did.

When Ashka fell back Ignatius took that sign to follow this rouge. We watched from the shadows watching as the rouge glanced around on edge before relaxing a bit thinking he lost Ashka.
Ignatius watch from a far as the rouge laid in a den and went to sleep. He knew he may not have much time before this rouge wakes up so he took off running back to the pack to spred the knews and hopefully set out a hunting party.

RIPTIDE
~Outcast of the Forest~
⋆.˚ Riptide was far into his sleep, but his body was tensed and he couldn't relax. He knew the packs would be after him, but he knew his younger kin needed rest. His sister was smaller and much younger than him ⊹ ࣪ ˖
---
⋆.˚ Sure he was somewhat a young adult wolf but Kyla was only a small puppy. She had no idea about the dangers of the large forest. And Riptide would never want her to see the spill of blood being drawn . ⊹ ࣪ ˖
---
⋆.˚ Riptide stays close to Kyla, keeping her warm with his fur. He huffs softly, lifting his head to open his eyes and look out of the den entrance. His ear flicks slightly, his eyes sharp. He looks down at the small bundle of fur beside his ribcage. ⊹ ࣪ ˖

KYLA
~Rouge and Kin of the Outcast~
⋆.˚ Kyla stirred softly, yipping tiredly. Her small blue eyes flutter open, and suddenly she loses all of her warmth. She whines sharply and hops up to her feet, pawing at the entrance for her older brother. She whimpers and her ears drop when there is no reply. She crawls, her claws digging into the dirt as she crawls out of the stump. ⊹ ࣪ ˖
---
⋆.˚ She flops down on the ground when her small body is out of the den. Her chest huffs from effort. She scrambles up to her paws, her ears forward and eyes sharp. Her head looks around the clearing quickly, scared from owls hooting in the distance. Kyla whimpers, her tail tucking between her hind legs. ⊹ ࣪ ˖
---
⋆.˚ She looks around, not seeing Riptide anywhere in sight. She begins wondering off, soon running into a fast sprint. She felt the wind in her fur, her small legs looking like she'd trip soon. She continued. Continued to run. Soon accidentally bumped into Ignatius. She whines, not reconnizing the wolf as her brother and backs away scared with her tail tucked. ⊹ ࣪ ˖

/She yawned, looking around the den, bleary-eyed. Looks like the rest of the pack is already awake. She stood and stretched, her paws sliding forward as her back arched. Then I better get moving too. She striaghtened, padding out of the den./
/As she headed over to the nursery, one of the pups came bounding up to her, eyes wide and excited./ "Zailee! You're finally up! Now we can go explore the forest togather!'
/She smiled down at the pup and licked her ear as she spoke in a calm, but stern tone./ "Now. Hold up there, little one. Did you get permission from your mother to go into the forest? She'd be mighty worried if you went missing."
/The pup shifted on her paws./ "Well, no...But I'm sure it would be fine if she knew I was with you!" /She bounced excitedly./ "Can we go now? Pleeease??"
/She smiled, but shook her head./ "I can't take you out into the forest without your mother's permission. Why don't you play in the clearing here, where no one has to come save you if you get lost?"

Mika

/She pouted, her tail dragging the ground. Why can't Zailee just let me explore? It'd be no harm. She huffed, disapointed until she got distracted by a leaf. She began pawing at it and chasing it across the clearing, until she was stopped by someone putting a paw on her tail./
"Zailee! My prey is getting away!"
"And you were about to run into our Luna. Apoligize, please."
/Mika looked down./ "Oh. Sorry Sonya..."
/She dipped her head, then scurried off to play again./ "Betcha can't catch me!"
"Mika!" /Zailee shook her head, amused, as she chased after her.

꧁⎝ 𓆩༺ Sonya ༻𓆪 ⎠꧂
Daylight Pack - Luna
· · ─────── ·𖥸· ─────── · ·

A good night's rest was something Sonya couldn't afford.

The Luna had shut her eyes for an hour or two, which had been nice, but the pups' kicking patterns had been getting more frequent and far more of a discomfort for the she-wolf to be able to lie in one spot for too long. As she and her mate, Tyrin, had gotten to their conjoined den a little after midnight, it was early morning when Sonya arose. Tyrin had shifted in his sleep when his mate arose from their curled-up positions next to one another. His eyes flickered open and widened in concern when he observed Sonya's discomforted state, the way her lips pulled back in a grimace. The Luna had noticed she had woken her mate and whined an apology

"Head back to sleep, darling. I'll just be a moment..."

A wince as one of the pups rammed its paws below her ribcage, eyes squeezing shut before opening slowly and giving the now wide awake Alpha what was supposed to be a reassuring smile. It came off as weak. Sonya took in a breath, pausing her ascent into the camp outside as she composed herself. She could feel the gaze of Tyrin bearing through her, even with her head turned to the exit. His low voice rang out in the silence, tender and slow.

"Be gentle with yourself, Sonya. Take it easy and don't go far."

All Sonya could do in response was nod before she slowly and stiffly made her way out of the den - a massive fallen tree that had been hollowed out by some critter before the Daylight Pack had settled here. Sonya was met with the cool, clear morning air, and immediately, the she-wolf's heartbeat settled. So did the pups kicking, it seemed. She let out a shaky breath, taking a steadier one in before turning her attention to the camp around her. It seemed rather empty this early in the morning, but the faint, warm scent of pack members filled her senses, and a sensation of pride soon followed.

Now that Sonya was out of the claustrophobic den space and able to walk steadier, the Luna made it a few paces into the middle of camp before the bright voice of a certain little one made her ears swivel behind her. She turned just in time to see Mika's little form being pulled to a stop by the pack's Pupsitter - Zailee. It seemed as though the youngster had been so busy chasing after... something, that she had completely forgotten to look further ahead. A soft expression filled Luna's face as the pup murmured her apology before bounding off to play once more. Sonya's attention then turned to the Pupsitter, tail sweeping closely back and forth to the ground as she nodded her thankful regards to the female.

────────────────────

⊹₊ ˚‧︵‿₊୨ Tiryn ୧₊‿︵‧ ˚ ₊⊹
Daylight Pack - Alpha
· · ─ ·𖥸· ─ · ·

The Alpha shouldn't have been startled to see his mate up in the middle of the night.

Sonya had been having difficulty sleeping this entire pregnancy, and it wasn't a foreign endeavor for her to rise throughout the night to get comfortable once again. The aspect that concerned Tiryn was that the periods she wouldn't be able to doze off again were getting far longer, and her discomfort seemed to be rising with it. So when his mate hadn't lain back down for a few good beats, Tiryn had gotten suspicious. He opened his eyes to see discomfort crease through Sonya's gorgeous maw, and it had physically pained him not to be able to help in any terribly significant way. He knew if he did offer his help, though, she would politely reject him. These last couple of weeks, his mate had been more assertive as to how she wanted to do things and who she wanted to assist her. Anything pup-related... she had made it clear that she did not want or need her mate's help.

Tyrin didn't offer his help like he had during her first and second trimester. Instead, he gave her some gentle - yet firm - guidance. Be careful, go slow, and give yourself time. Thankfully, Sonya didn't have the headspace to be able to reject that or spit it back at him, simply nodding before making her way out of the den. Tyrin lay there, on the soft dirt floor that had been warmed by the pair's bodies. He stayed chillingly still, eyes fixed on the exit of the den, eyes perked upright and alert. It took a few beats to be able to start relaxing once more. He hadn't heard any signs or sounds of distress, which was always a reassuring sign.

While he had been instructed to fall back asleep, Tyrin could not do such a thing with the racing of his mind. Sonya was close. Far too close for comfort in the process of pushing past the last few days, or hours for that fact, of her pregnancy. Tyrin sat up swiftly, resting on his haunches as his tail warmed his front paws. His gaze crept slowly around the different areas of the den, focusing on a spot close to the extra bedding in the corner as the idea, once more, hit him like a bullet train. He was going to be a father. The idea had seemed almost impossible to believe the first time Sonya had told him. That, and the weeks following. Gradually, though, he had seemed to accept the fact - but it was still... What kind of father would he be? Sonya had tried reassuring him time after time about his worrying state of mind, that he would be a fine father. But would he be? He'd never thought about growing a family until he and his Luna had become mates... Should he have thought about it before? He felt as though time was going too fast, as if he wouldn't be prepared when the time did come. And that time was nearing.

Chirp, chirp, growl. As usual, the chattering of the morning birds roused Velaris from his sleep. And, as usual, he would respond to their cheerful singsong with a soft growl. Their singing in itself didn’t bother him, heck, he’d quite often join in and hum along to their tune. No, it was the fact that the sun had barely stepped above the horizon and that he still had to wait a few hours until he could gather and dry new herbs. He stood from his bed, his fur taking half of it with him. He shook out his pelt, the debris falling back to the ground. He gave his ruffled chest fur a few brief licks to smooth it, before lifting his head and sighing. The cool morning air was still moist with mist and dew, the chill of it biting at his nose.

Velaris padded over to his storage, nosing through his medicinal supplies and taking mental notes on what he needed to restock, what he had a surplus of and what he didn’t need during the current season. Or shouldn’t. He stepped back from his stocks, turning to the entrance of his den. Wolves could be so stupid at times, especially young wolves who have gotten it into their heads that they’re invincible. Velaris shook his head to himself, stepping out of his den and into the fresh morning air, his gaze sweeping over the camp. He was either the first one up, or the first one to actually get out of bed. The latter seemed more likely.

Velaris strode across and out of the camp with his head held high, trying not to look in a hurry. Which he wasn’t, but we wanted to make sure that no deer or rabbit had helped themselves to his carefully tended herb patches. Even just the thought of finding them gone bothered him. He shook out his pelt, clearing his head. Being stressed about anything this early in the day wasn’t healthy. He padded through the forest, going at a comfortable pace. His paws soon became damp from the dewy grass and leaves, but he didn’t mind. It’d give him an excuse to lay in the sun for a while. He wove through the undergrowth, noting where new bushels of herbs had grown and where old ones remained, thankfully, intact. Velaris stopped by a small brook, lowering his head to drink. The water was refreshing, and he took a moment to simply admire the waking forest.

Feeling much better, he turned around to go gather some supplies before returning to camp. There wasn’t too much he needed urgently, so one trip should be enough. Occasionally stooping down to collect medicinal herbs, Velaris made his way back through the forest, choosing a different path than the one he had opted for when first entering the woods. The sun had climbed a bit higher in the sky, just high enough to warrant his excursion and providing enough light and warmth to dry the things he had collected. Slipping back inside the NightTulip camp, Velaris headed straight for his den and set down the leaves and roots on a sunny patch of dry earth. After making sure they wouldn’t get swept up by the wind, he settled down on his stomach, stretching out his front paws to dry in the morning sun.

Slowly waking to a small soft ray of sunlight peeking through the entryway. Her den, nestled within a large ancient tree smelled softly of varying herbs and healing concotions, a slight steam wafted from the brewing pot in the corner. Standing Wuji let out a large stretch and finished it with a satisfying yawn, she shook the dust from her fur and inhaled readying herself to begin the day.
Making her way over to the pot, she'd let it simmer all night, various herbs and flowers boiled away inside to produce a warm healing potion, this one, her main potion was a rather unapatising green, almost a bit of a sludge once it cooled, it however worked wonders. Throughout the night the little fire she had prepped had burnt itself out in just enough time to get the potion just right.

Tekli rose just before the sun, she always loved watching the sunrise from her rocky den. The den was a little high up, nothing major but just enough she could watch the sunrise and sunset through the trees. It wasnt anything to special, or homely for that fact either. It was lovely and cool, with good views, inside she had a nice soft bed made of dried mosses and grasses (dried with the help of Wuji of course). When it rained there was a crevice somewhere in the roof that leaked fresh rainwater, keeping a bowl of sorts under the stream she tries to collect what she can of the water. Towards the back there was a small rock ledge where she kept various little trickets she'd found or been gifted.
Rising with a quick stretch she started off down the rocky almost staircase. Unsure of their lead hunter, she hadnt seen them for a while now that she thought about it, she started off towards the forest a little. Perhaps a quick rabbit or something might be nice for Wuji to wake up to. With purpose she snuffled the ground looking for something to share for breakfast, she noted the smell of an unusual wolf as well as a couple of her own. Odd, but anyways back to breakfast.

--Jag--
(Hunter)
/Jag padded out of the clearing, not bothering to check with the lead hunter as he made his way to his favorite hunting spot. He quickly arrived at the small, isolated clearing and settled under a bush, not making a sound. He sat stiff and alert, waiting for a sign of prey./
/After a while, the bushes rustled, and a rabbit stuck its twitching nose out. He heard it before he saw it, staying silent with his eyes trained on the rabbit. A little bit later, the rabbit hopped further into the small clearing, its nose still twitching, as if it was trying to smell for danger. The rabbit turned to run, but it was too slow, for Jag was already upon it. He leaped on the rabbit and swiftly gave it the final blow, sinking his teeth into its neck. This will do for a start.
He stood and made his way back to camp, the rabbit hanging limply in his jaws./

---Zailee--
(Pupsitter)
/She had just gotten Mika to wind down for a nap and she was exhausted. She padded out of the nursery and into the clearing. Who knew pups were so tiring? She smiled despite herself, as she headed back to her den./
/She found a comfortable spot near the entrance of the den and laid down, resting her head on her paws as she watched wolves come and go. She nearly rolled her eyes when a black and tan wolf came in, dropped a rabbit on the prey-pile, and pushed around one of the other wolves just to sit alone. Does he have to be so cold? It wouldn't hurt for him to make a friend or two./
/As if Jag sensed her thoughts, he looked straight at her. Zailee made up her mind and stood, making her way over to him./ "Nice rabbit." /She angled her muzzle, gesturing towards the prey-pile./
-------------------------
--Jag--
(Hunter)
/He angled his body away from her, hoping she would take the hint and leave. He nearly groaned when she sat beside him./ "You're a good hunter."
"I know." /He stood and started walking away from her, towards the den. She followed. Is she serious?? He entered the den and laid down in a corner, his back to her./
"You're not very social." /She pointed out./
"I'm trying to sleep."
/She finally took the hint and he watched her leave. It irritated him at how calm she was. Does she not care? He rolled his eyes as she spoke conversationally./ "See you around then. Have a good nap." /How annoying. He thought as he laid his head down to sleep./

The sun was already up by the time Monti awakened. Slowly he blinked the gunk from his eyes and adjusted them to the light with an unnessessarily large yawn. Stretching out all his toes he stood and shook the nights dust off his fur and made his way out of the den.
No one else appeared to have stirred yet and so he made his way silently through the dens to begin hunting, almost a daily ritual really, there are mouths to be fed and it's his job to ensure that happens.
Trotting out of the main living space it didnt take him long to notice a fresh scent, Tekli. With the slight roll of his eyes he followed it, sure enough there she was, stalking a rather small rabbit.
"You won't even feed a single pup with that" he huffed scaring off the rabbit.

·:*¨༺ ✮Tekli + Monti༺ ˎˊ-
·˚ ༘₊·꒰➳: ̗̀➛ LionsPassage
·˚ ༘₊·꒰➳: ̗̀➛ Hunter + Lead Hunter
"Well it won't be feeding anyone now." She half snarled back standing from her stalking pose, "nice of you to join me I suppose."
"Shall we find something actually worth our time and energy?" He moreso ordered rather than suggested, "I'm sure I saw some deer headed this way yesterday." He started off in a direction further from the dens.
Tekli knew better than to argue with her lead, and anyways he'd already chased off the rabbit she was aiming for for Wuji, with a stubborn sigh she silently followed behind, their gaits matched.
A short while later he halted, nose to the ground, a fresh set of deer prints in the dirt before him.
"Two?" Tekli knew this but questioned anyways, "looks to be a doe and a fawn judging by the sizes."
"Appears that way," he responded, "lets keep moving."

Not too far along there they were, a nice plump Doe, the fawn napping in the lush grass no more than two metres away. The pair of wolves exchanged a quick glance, gold and green eyes met for one split of a second, and almost as if rehersed they began their hunt. Splitting up they divided the small clearing, the doe was the goal, the fawn will come later. Monti lowered himself into a crouch, golden eyes locking on. He glanced once toward Tekli, catching her silhouette in the underbrush. A single nod passed between them — the signal.
Tekli burst first, streaks of grey fur and teeth, driving the doe into panic. It leapt to flee, but Monti was already moving, intercepting its escape with brutal precision. His weight crashed into its flank, claws raking deep, while Tekli lunged for its throat. The struggle was sharp but short; the doe collapsed beneath their combined assault.
Monti stood over the kill, chest heaving, blood streaking his muzzle. He glanced at Tekli — stubborn, proud, her jaws still tight with adrenaline. For a moment, silence hung between them, broken only by the fawn’s retreating scramble.
“Good chase,” Monti growled, not quite a compliment, not quite an order. His tail flicked once, steady.
Tekli snorted, licking the blood from her muzzle, a crooked smile tugging her lips. “You or me?” She glanced in the direction the small fawn was scrambling in.
"I suppose I need to let you learn, you go." He said.

Without a response she lept from the does' large carcass, in a handful of strides she had cought up with the fawn and in less than a heartbeat it was no more than breakfast too. Wrapping her maw around its kneck she proudly dragged it back to Monti.
He gave a nod of approval, "right well, lets get these two back, the others will surely be waking by now."
She dropped the fawn on top of the Doe and grabbed hold of the doe alongside Monti. It was heavy, but together they managed to drag the feast back to the dens.
"Breakfast!" Monti howled trying to wake any remaining members from their slumber.
