Daisy looked at the male and then turn to them. She said "Okay here is the plan Kelly you block its path and Maple you will chase from behind with Sky and try to pull the deer down." She then said " I will try and go for the throat but if I fail I need someone to step in. " She looked around at Sky, Kelly and Maple.

Kelly looked up quickly,"No! Don't! The wind is blowing the wrong way! Look at how the Buck is twitching, he knows we are there! Any sudden movements and food is out!" Kelly whispered frantically.

sky got on the ground, she was confused, she had never hunted in a group and so far it was confusing. She consentrated on what the other wolves were saying and tryed to keep up with what the plan was.

Daisy heard Kelly and got down flat on the ground motioning for the others to do the same. She look to make sure the herd wasn't spooked thankfully they weren't.

Maple laid on the ground. "You're good." Maple whispered to Kelly. She let her ears twitch everywhere, listening to anything that could be watching them.

Kelly nodded awkwardly, crouching right by daisy. "I understand if you don't want me to lead the hunt, but this is a hit-or-miss scenario."

Daisy nodded at Kelly and said "you lead them I'm gonna get in postion." Daisy started to move along close to the ground out of sight from the herd. She was trying to get in position and motioned the others to do the same. She positioned herself right across from the old buck where there was a few bushes.

Maple quietly crawled towards Daisy. They were positioned right across from the buck. Maple smelled the air. She smelled not only the deer and the storm but also a wolf. Maple pricked up her ears as high as she could. She didn't hear anything but she decided to ignore the scent for now.

sky was a bit confused but she crawled a few feet behind the buck. She looked twards Kelly, who she thought was leading the hunt, she wasnt sure but she just waited. She thought to herself, just wait, ill know what to do once we start the hunt, kill.

Kelly nodded setting down.

"It's about feeding time, so right about now... yup... the buck has changed positions, up wind. Daisy I need you to distract the other deers. Sky sneak up behind the buck and kick it's butt. Maple and I will go in for the kill." Kelly shone will pride, her wings staing black though. She wasn't so useless any more. Her paw was near darn healed, the pack was safe.
