Matt smiles gently before his body evened out into peaceful breath’s.His face was still pale, and his hands were twitching as he slept, nightmares causing him to twitch but not wake up.

Hope smiled softly, not having the heart to move him, and not wanting to leave him alone for long either. He needed rest, and she didn't want it to happen again. She slipped out of the tent and went into the sleeping quarters, seeing the thugs still tied up, terrified of Nox, and she saw a couple of the group in there. "Take care of them will ya?" she asked, gesturing to the thugs. They nodded, and Hope took Nox out of there, back to her tent. She picked up a pair of blankets and placed one over Matt, noticing him twitching in his sleep. She placed her cloak on the floor in the middle of the tent for herself, and lay down on it, wrapping the blanket around herself, trusting Nox to keep watch as they slept.

Matt sighed as he felt the blanket cover him. In his sleep he heard Nox's rumbling purr and he was instantly feeling safer. He couldnt quite mover yet but his hand reached out for Nox. He stroked Nox once and fell into a deep sleep.

Hope stirred slightly, the sunlight waking her up a bit. She looked around, confused at first, before the events of last night came flooding back into her memory. She got up and looked at Nox, who had his head on Matt's abdomen, purring deeply in his sleep, and she smiled, carefully going around the two to the fire pit, starting a small fire and then taking the deer the party she had sent out hunting had caught last night, and began to cook it over the fir. She sat on a log, taking a small knife from her belt and sharpening it before going back inside to finalize plans for the kidnapping, studying the map another time.

Matt stirred, awakening to the sun shining in his face. Looking down he saw Nox, and he smiled. " Okay Nox, up and at 'em " He wiggled out from under Nox, smiling. He spotted Hope cooking some deer and his stomach rumbled. " Morning " He said as he picked up the egg. It was slightly cracked and would hatch soon. He seemed hesitant to thank her for the night before. Without thinking he joined her at the map. He analyzed everything, though he didn't really want to participate. He just needed to appear interested. " How are you planning on getting in? "

Nox purred, getting up and shaking out his fur. Hope went out and got a couple wooden plates of deer. "Morning. Here." she said, giving one to Matt. She glanced at him when he came over to look at the map. "You don't have to act interested. I know you don't want to do this." she said with a sigh. She glanced over at him. "I'm not so sure I want to either, but it's the only chance we have of getting out of here." she said simply. That was how she took these kinds of things. One step closer to getting out of this nightmare of a home. Then....she didn't know what would happen to the group, but it wouldn't be her concern anymore. She just had to help Matt, Kai, and whoever else who wanted to get out, to get out. That was her goal at this point. "I'm not sure. Maybe in disguise." she said simply.

Matt took the plate and chewed thoughtfully. " The better we do it, the more we get. And honestly, it's more for the sake of my sanity then your's. " His tone was teasing, but there was a little truth behind it. He finished eating the deer, placing the plate aside. " I don't think a disguise would help, not with a the royal's and guard's with power's. " He looked around, but shook his head. " On another note, the egg might hatch soon. " He shoved her playfully. Maybe they could spear afterward's.

Hope looked at him at that, despite his teasing tone. She looked back ta the map, hearing the low clank sound the plate made as Matt placed it down. Hmm... she thought upon hearing him say that a disguise probably wouldn't work. "Well, do you have any ideas on it then?" she asked sincerely. She must admit, she'd been less and less trusting of people in the group as of late, but she still trusted Matt, probably him the most. Kai, she still wasn't sure about. She was a strong soldier for sure, but Hope wasn't sure just how much she could be trusted. She looked back at him when she heard that the egg might hatch soon, and excitement gleamed in her green eyes. Not a malevolent type of excitement, but pure excitement. "Really?" she asked, turning away from the map.

Matt smiled slightly. " We could.... Nah, never mind. " He almost told her about his second power he just developed, but decided against it until he learned more about it. " I could try to make them pass out, but I feel like the princess would rather be lured somewhere with a 'suitor' then some random woman. " His head snapped to her. " No Offense. " He looked down at the egg, which was cracking slightly and wiggling. " Yeah. " His eye's danced and for once, they didn't seem so bottomless. " I think i'll name it Shadow. " He said more to himself.

Hope tilted her head slightly when she noticed that he stopped himself from saying something, but shook it off. If he doesn't want to tell me, it's his choice. she thought, then listened to what he had to say. "Yes, that makes sense. Under the guise of a suitor, you could lure her anywhere under the illusion of wanting to get to know her better. You'd just have to watch out for the princes of the kingdom, and of course, the other suitors such as Prince Erisdar, the man in the town." she said simply, then chuckled when he said no offense. "None taken." she said with a grin, before looking down at the egg in excitement. "Shadow sounds like the perfect name, given the coloration and such." she said, and the sounds of pawsteps coming inside indicated Nox had entered to see what the commotion was about. He walked over, sniffing the egg before sitting down, understanding and excitement in his large amethyst eyes.
