Suka | F | Hunter - Suka woke up at evening wondering how she managed to sleep that long. She had had a nightmare that over the course of three days every other wolf was frozen. It was something she did not want to think about anymore. She stood up and stretched then looked at all the wolves. She saw Wendigo was awake. She was afraid because he was sweating and seemed nervous. " are you okay Wendigo? You dont look the best." She watched him carefully for a response. She wasnt sure if he maybe heard something or saw something that freaked him. Mabye he had a nightmare like she had. She walked over and lay beside him waiting for an answer. lStormrunner | F | Mother | Mentions: Tarril, Hades, Azalea ~ Storm woke up with a jolt. She looked around and realized she had slept through most of the day. She got up quickly, stretched, and trotted out of the den. She looked around, but nobody was really in sight. She wandered a bit more, trying to find other wolves. She was pissed that she had slept so long. She wondered if everyone else had already eaten, and saw that the hunting group had already returned, with only some food. She glanced at the Alpha and his mate, sleeping in their den. She walked quietly to the den. She whispered lightly to Hades, "has everyone else eaten?" She didn't want to be a burden anyways, so if she was the last to eat, she wouldn't mind. Hades shook his head, and Storm continued on her way. She wanted to go into the forest. To be helpful. She couldn't bear the fact that, because she was pregnant, she was purely an extra useless mouth to feed. She wished she was never pregnant, that Moon never died, that the Lurker never existed. I wish I could just leave this horrible place. But wishing gets you no where, she thought.l She trotted up to Azalea and laid down next to her. She could tell Azalea was tired. "I see hunting went all right. I wish I vouldve been there to help protect you," she said, disappointed. "You need to stay safe," Azalea replied. Storm knew that. She needed to stay healthy and alive so she could have her pups. But she didn't want pups. She didn't want to bring brand new lives into this horrible place. Storm and Azalea laid in silence, watching the pack. At least we get some peace for once, she thought, and for a brief moment, she felt okay. But it didn't last long. Her peace and quiet was disturbed by her rumbling stomach, and she realized she hasn't eaten. Storm didn't mind though, because everybody was ok for another day. Nobody was killed. Which was all she could ask for. And so, she drifted back off into sleep, strangly tired. ~ "Storm!" a voice called, "Storm" Storm looked into the distance, and she saw Moon. But that wasn't all she saw. There was a strange fog, heading towards Moon eerily fast. Storm started to run, as fast as she could. But the more she ran, the further away Moon seemed to get. She let out a howl, as she saw her mate get engulfed by the horrible fog. And at that moment, she saw her mate. Frozen. Dead. She collapsed to the ground, whining, whimpering, howling. Moon was gone. For good. "Stormrunner!" A voice said sharply. She heard it again. ~ "Stormrunner!" The voice said again, as Storm opened her eyes. "Oh, good you're finally awake. I've been saying your name. You've been howling in your sleep," Azalea said. "Oh. I- I'm sorry. I was having a bad dream," Storm replied. "Well, never mind that. It's time for dinner," Azalea declared. Storm looked around and saw the pack gathered around the food pile, eagerly awaiting their meal. She walked over to the food pile, waiting for her turn to eat. Nukka | F | Elder Nukka wokeup again and noticed that she slept throught the day. Oh well she thought she would only sleep another hour. She noticed Suka and Wendigo with eachother talking. She wanted to go over but she was still very tired so she stayed curled up. She lay there for awhile listening to the others talking. She saw Azalea over with Kodiak talking. She also saw the hunters that had gone out with Azalea were tired and seemed to be half asleep. She wondered how much they had been able to hunt since the prey had been scarce lately. She saw an eagle and some rabbits at the food pile. They hadn't gotten much hopefully everyone would be able to eat. She soon fell asleep again and dreamed about the prey all disappearing. Everything and everyone was frozen, not moving the snow was falling harder. It was almost like a blizzard. Then fog rolled in and there was a shadow in it. It could only be the lurker. Soon she wa slaying on her side slowly freezing and her vision started to blur. Everything she could still see was blue with ice.

Ivy, female, herbalist Ivy walked around the herbs, muttering under her breath, taking account of which supplies they had. She shared the role of herbalist with Star, another wolf in her pack. Life in the mountains were harsh and herbs could never be taken for granted, especially in the winter. However, when she tried to concentrate, the dream from last night kept on haunting her thoughts. "Star? Cordella? Sasha? Anyone?" Again, Ivy was in the vast mountains, unable to see anything but snow and snow for what seemed like forever. She was tired and wanted to sleep, but something inside her stopped her from resting. She trudged through the endless blizzard hoping to find the camp or another wolf. After what seemed like days, a familiar structure appeared out of nowhere in the blizzard. Squinting, Ivy thought she recognized the pack's camp. It gave her renewed hope as she trudged onward with a new speed and determination. Just as she reached shouting distance of a wolf, something moved behind her. Looking around was a mistake, as Ivy found herself face to face with the pack's worst horrors, the Beast. She found herself suddenly unable to move and slowly, her senses failed her and she would wake up twitching. Luckily, Star never seemed to suspect anything and Ivy never told anyone about the dream. She thought it was an abnormal dream, a bit realistic. It's just a dream, she repeated to herself as she finished sorting the herbs, wishing she could convince herself. She was always afraid of ending up in an helpless situation, she told herself. There's no reason why this dream isn't just reflecting that fear.

Azalea | F | Hunter | Mentions; Kodiak, Stormrunner - Azalea nodded a greeting towards Kodiak. "I'm doing good, just a bit tired." She replied. "How are you?" She questioned as he settled down. Azalea noticed her sister laying down next to her. Azalea attempted to reassure her that she needed to remain safe until the pups came. In all honesty, she was excited that she'd get to be an Auntie soon. She stayed next to her sister as she slept, getting concerned as she seemed distressed. Azalea gently woke her up. The rest of the pack seemed to be gathering near the prey pile for dinner. They just had to wait until the other wolves in higher ranks had eaten before taking their prey. Azalea licked her sister's head affectionately.

Kodiak | M | Warrior Kodiak watched the wolves forming at the prey pile as he responded " I think most wolves are tired with the wind and everyone seems to be getting nightmares about the lurker." He saw that the alphas had not come out yet to get their food first " Do you know if Hades and Tarill are okay? Their not out of their den yet." He was concerned for the two alphas. He started to draw circle in the dirt thinking something bad might have happened to them. Edited at October 8, 2023 09:54 AM by TheSkeletalHuskyPack

Azalea | F | Hunter | Mentions; Kodaik, Stormrunner, Hades, Tamill - "I'm not sure. Perhaps we should bring some prey over to them?" Azalea suggested. "They could have not noticed the time." She mulled pver why the Alpha pair might have not come out yet. "The eagle might be enough to feed the both of them." She added. The pair needed to keep their strength up, especially with Tamill's future pups due to arrive any day now. They would hopefully provide some joy in this dark time. Azalea glanced over at her sister fondly. "Speaking of, you should also go ahead and grab some prey. You need to keep your strength up too. Your pups will also be here soon." Her ears twitched. "I can't wait to meet them. You're gonna be an amazing mother, and I'll be the best aunt I can be." Azalea smiled towards Stormrunner.

Nukka | F | Elder - Eventually Nukka could not stand sleeping anymore with this nightmare. She got up and shook herself. Her coat was thickening for the winter. She got up and walked over to the food pile where everyone was gathering. She got up and went to her spot in line. She was okay with just getting even one bite because everyone needs to eat. Nukka sees that the alphas were still in their den. That worried her slightly.
