Juno awoke with a jolt, her black fur bristling, her pointed ears pricked. She looked around the camp and took a breath, No wolves. She shook out her ruffled fur and saw some of the team awake as well. Juno shook her fur once more and stretched her legs. She grumbled as she walked out of the camp to take a walk to clear her mind. She had been burdened by the thought that no dog respects her. She walked out of the camp and trod through the thick snow into the forest. Juno hoped she wouldn't find a wolf or a pack of wolves as she walked, and she stayed on guard. She stepped into the forest, the snow dusting her pelt. She broke into a run, not thinking about her surroundings. The cool air felt good on her fur as she ran. Her eyes widened as she felt something hard under her paws.

Juno let out a loud yelp as she skittered on the edge of the ice, halfway submerged in the cold water. She slipped further, barking for help.

Dakota had eventually layed next to Niko, though she had been lost in thought most of the night. As she woke up she looked over to Niko who was still asleep, she looked around and saw some of the team awake, too lazy to get up and go to the fire, she inched closer to Niko and layed back down, though right as she was drifting back to sleep she heard very faint panicked barking. She opened her eyes in a panic and looked around, the other members of the team seemed to have heard it as well, "What was that?" She asked while looking around to see who was missing.

She opened her eyes in a panic and looked around, the other members of the team seemed to have heard it as well, "What was that?" She asked while looking around to see who was missing.

Alright she was tired but hearing the yelp had her running after apologizing to Leap about dumping Glacier on her. Echo's paws sped up as her ears were alert and right now it didn't matter if there were wolves about or not. Half the dogs were not awake and neither was the musher.

She saw a head though she didn't know who and began barking to attract more dogs while getting the attention of hopefully the panicking one. She even let out a howl which she cut short as she ran.

"Don't panic. It will make things worse", she barked as she focused on the ice.

If she could buy time then someone else could help the dog so she carefully while fast got on the ice.

Echo howled again in another attempt to get more attention followed by more barking. Where is the team?

Nosoi | M | Wheel Dog 1 | M: Juno, Echo

Panicked barking and howling captured Nosoi's attention. He stood, angling his head in the general direction of the sounds. They were faint, but not faint enough to cause him to ignore it. The mastiff huffed, considering. On one hand, it was really none of his business what was going on. On the other, it could be his teammate in trouble. He sighed and set off towards the sound. His pace increased the more he could hear the sounds of distress, and he felt more and more that it was one of his teammates. He charged through the forest, narrowly avoiding the frosted trees. Nosoi skidded to a halt at the bank of a frozen creek. The barks had come from near here. He turned, scenting the air. It was one of his team. Juno, to be specific. What was she doing out here...? Nevermind that. He shook his head and trotted along the ice, and broke into a run upon seeing her and Echo. He crouched down beside her. Did she not know how to swim? Granted, it was a bit difficult to climb out onto ice, but really. He sighed and leaned down, grabbing her by the scruff and hoisting her out of the water. Nosoi stepped back to give her some space. He turned to Echo. ` ` Do you need help getting her back to camp, or can I leave? ` `

Juno shook out her fur, she was obviously shaken from the near drowning experience. She knew how to swim, the basics at least, but scrambling out of freezing water was hard. She looked up at Nosoi and Echo, "Thank you." Juno said, "I'll be fine to get back to camp." She looked at the ground, embarrassed from the fall. She padded back to camp, Foolish me. Juno sat by the fire to warm up a little bit while she waited for the next time the musher would take out the sled to go on an excursion of some sort. (Sorry for short reply)

She looked at him feeling grateful. She could swim but she froze and was just grateful that Nosoi came. Letting out a sigh of exhaustion and turning back to to the male dog who helped.

"Thank you for your help. Looks like Juno will be fine. I found Glacier who wandered off last night. Dragged her back", said the husky feeling tired.

She was done with everyone because they need to be tied to the sled or tied down somewhere.

"Feel free to leave if you wish. I need some time alone but I will be here", said Echo with the words sounding flat.

He woke up in the warmth of his tent, the daylight from the morning peeking through the front.

He got up, stretched his limbs and got on his thick winter coat.

As he walked out of the tent he whistled for the team lineup.

He rolled over onto his back, his blue eyes fluttering open. He stood up slightly; bending his lower half to stretch.

After stretching out his limbs, he looked around. His brothers weren't in the cave anymore. He could go out and watch the team again if his brothers weren't around for the day. Again.

He walked out of the den and broke into a fast run towards the camp.

Nosoi | M | Wheel Dog 1 | M: Echo, Juno, Musher

Nosoi nodded curtly at Echo's words. He watched Juno trot back to camp and turned to follow suit. He traced his path through the forest and back to camp, keeping a leisurly pace. The mastiff was about halfway back when he heard a sharp, familliar whistle. The Musher was calling for them to line up. About time, too. He broke into a gleeful run and bounded up to him, eager to get to work. They couldn't leave until everyone was here, of course, but that didn't lessen his excitement in the slightest. He loved having something to do, even if it was hard work. Took his mind off of things, and it's always satisfying for him to look back and see how much he's gotten done. He stood still to let the Musher attach his leather collar and harness, waiting for the rest of the team to arrive.

Juno was almost completely dry now, she lifted her head to the noon sun and it warmed her damp fur. Her amber eyes glistened and her ears swiveled to where she had heard the musher whistle for lineup. Finally! She shook out her fur once more and ran to the musher, sitting in front of him, wagging her tail. She hoped he wouldn't exclude her because of her recent fall.
Her eyes followed the rest of the team lining up by the sled. Juno waited for the musher to put her harness on so she could connect to the sled.
