cobra got up and nuzzled lunas head in good bye luna stood up and walked back into the nursery she curled in her nest tired her pups where due soon she was just tired right now |

Damn. He had slept in. Ciro lept to his paws as soon as he noticed how late in the morning - possibly even afternoon - it was and the rain pattering lightly outside of his wooded den. The large shepherd stretched, yawning wide and long before he moved outside of his den, eyes scouring the packs camp and landing on the dogs who seemed to be going through with their daily activities despite Ciro's lack of instruction. Oh how he was so grateful for his Deputy. Trotting down the slope that led from his den to camp, his tail continued to hold high, same as his head. He greeted everyone with respectful nods, wagging slightly at some more than others. Looked like they were already taking care of setting up patrols, but it'd be good just to check in with everyone. He stopped by Cobra first. "Cobra. Good morning - I'm not sure you'd be planning your outings for today would you?" His tone was professional but warm and welcoming as well. |

The female's eyes finally fluttered open, awakening to the sound of pack mates coming and leaving the nursery in which she lay. The she-dog lay curled in one of the mossy corners, nose tucked into her fluffy tail and into her stomach. A small kick was felt beneath her snout and she lifted her head to sniff the rabbit not too far away from her, eyes softening. Someone must have dropped the prey off when she had been asleep, how sweet. Lady stood slowly, wincing at the grumbling of her stomach - she and her pups were hungry it would seem. It didn't take ten minutes for her to completely consume the rabbit carcass, contently licking over her muzzle before turning to the nursery's exit. She padded slowly, paws heavy from the extra weight her full stomach gave to her. Her mind wandered, she would be due any day now it would appear... Lady was met with the light dripping of rain as she stepped out of the Nursey, but she was also met with the warm sight of packmates and her mate. "Apollo." Her voice was light. Elegant and worn. Exhausted. Her tail swishing slightly behind her as the female brushed her head gently in greeting against his fluffy chest. Her soft gaze turned to the dogs around him, nodding slowly to say hello as well.
Apollo looked down at his beloved mate as she brushed her head against him. "Lady," Apollo said, his voice steady "Awake from your nap I see?" His blue gaze softened as he wagged his tail gently. "How are our pups doing, my dear?" He licked Lady's head gently, "Even in the rain you look beautiful as ever." He shifted his paws towards her. A soft smile spread across his lips. They were interrupted by a white and gray dog bounding into the camp, carrying a rabbit. "Pluto!" Apollo woofed towards the white dog. |

Staying beside her mate, Lady's attention turned to gaurd in front of her. The she-wolf nodded, sitting back on her haunces as she reponded, gratitude evident in her voice. "While I didn't have the smoothest sleep I was happy to see an easy meal when I came back around. I smelled dogs coming back and forth between the Nursery and camp so I'm very grateful. Thank you." Lady's tail swished loosely behind her, just as it did previously but targeted specifically at the husky. Then, as usual, the doting female's attention turned back to her mate. "They are doing fine, a little restless... Its almost time, I can feel it. Darling, did you sleep alright? I apologize if my constant moving woke you at all." She looked away, embarrasment lacing her gaze. |

"My dear, you didn't bother me at all" Apollo replied "In fact, the only thing that would bother me is if you didn't sleep." Apollo's mate and future pups were the only thing that mattered to him at the moment. He thought about what Lady had said about they're pups coming soon, and began to worry "Do you want me to get Lunar to check on you?" He asked, "She might be able to check in on you and the pups."

Comfort filled the she-dogs heart at her mates proposal but she shook her head, standing back onto her paws slowly. "Oh, no. Thats fine... I can go ahead and find her myself. I'm sure everythings alright, she'll probably just tell me what she has been. 'Take it slow' and 'Go gentle on yourself'" Lady look a sigh and let out a deep breath, eyes flicking to her body's side. She was thankful - for all the help the others were offering and how they've been offering her entire pregnancy. But honestly, she just wanted these pups out of her already. She had no desire to continue being of no use to the pack like the warriors or hunters were, and she desperatly desired the worried glances when she accidently tripped over a twig to stop. Giving one last affectionate nudge to her mate, Lady departed to go find Lunar, the packs Medicine Wolf, their Healer. First place to check... the healers den. If she ended up not being in there already sorting through herbs and such, Lady would take no offense to waiting until she showed up once more. That way the she-wolf could simply laze about this rainy day. |

cobra looked at his leader " yes sir i was hoping if your ok with if i cut them short for today lunas close to giving birth and i want to be there if thats ok?" he asked he normally never asked to cut them short but with his mate this close to giving birth he wanted to be there with her but of corce he wanted to make sure it was ok first |
