~*ALEX*~ Beta Female | Azca | M: Storm, Killian, Iceflare _______________ Alex peaked her head into Iceflare's den. "Iceflare, are you awake yet?" She heard nothing from the sleeping wolf. She didn't want to disturb the Alpha's sleep, for last night had been a busy one, so she headed back out of the Alpha's den. In the air, she caught the scent of her father, Killian. She saw him just emerging from his den and watched as he sat down on a rock. Perhaps his leg was in pain, for he sat on that rock when it did. "Hey, Storm, let me know if the Alpha wakes, okay?" She said to the Beta Male as she trotted off to go have a chat with her father. | Edited at December 13, 2021 09:45 AM by Your Christmas Tree

¥ Killian ¥ Subordinate | Male | Azca | M: Alex He watched his daughter move towards him and he nodded at her for a greeting. He barked,"Morning Alex..." His green eyes looking down at her looking at her slowly. He sniffed the air for any threats. None so far. His tracking abilities were phenomenal with always scouting or search parties. Anything that will help with tracking. Killian felt his legs were starting to warm up and ready to move. It just took him to warm up. He barked,"Hopefully the alpha decides to get her tail up. Wasting daylight. But oh well.. Luckily we have no pups yet. No food only a small pile dwindling with bugs now. I can smell the starting of rot sitting all night and the heat making it rise. Just wait pup. Maggots. Gotta throw it out soon."

|-| Duches |-| Subordinate| Female| Soval| Crush: Wing __________________ Duches nodded as she headed West into the forest. As she got into the forest she started sniffing the air for any scent that may linger around. Duches did not see anything unusual in the forest but still sniffed around anyway to be safe. After a few minutes Duches looked up at the sun, she had plenty of time to scout around. She sniffed some more and smelled something, something big, she smelled an elk. She crouched down not wanting to spook it. Duches sniffed the air for the hunting party that left earlier but it seemed like they did not go in this direction. Duches knew this would be good prey for her pack, but she knew she could not hunt it alone. Unable to hunt the elk Duches sneaked past it and finished her patrol. Later that morning Duches smelled that she was at the end of her pack territory and turned pack to alert her pack of the elk that lurks West of the camp. When she got to the camp she saw that Achene, Turtle, or Cyclone were not back yet so she went to Axel, the alpha male, about the elk that lurked. As she approached Axel she bowed her head in greeting and said: "Axel I just got back from my patrol and there was no sign of anything strange from the Azcas, but there was a massive elk West from camp."

~*ALEX*~ Beta Female | Azca | M: Killian _______________ Alex sniffed the air at her father's words of rotting food. "You're right. I hope she wakes up soon." She sighed. Sitting down beside her father, she watched as the sun rose more above the horizon, slowly as the shadows seemed to retract and shrink. It calmed her. But her pelt, despite being sleek, was hot underneath. She wished it would cool down. "Ugh, it's too hot to sit and sunbask. I'm going for a swim," she groaned. "See you in a bit, dad." She stood back up and strode off toward the lake, careful to stay near Azca territory. She found a suitable little cove, with a soft shore of grass and clean, neck-high water. She took a running start at it and plunged in. To Alex's relief, the water was still cool from last night. She paddled around in it, enjoying the currents through her fur. She chose a spot where the water wans't as deep, sat down, and let the water cool her. She bent down to get a drink when she noticed a shape in the water. It was long, and silvery... A FISH! She swooped into the water with her paw and tossed it onto the shore. It was a good-sized trout, a small breakfast for two wolves. She picked it up, then, thinking twice, decided that maybe it would be better to try for more fish. After all, the pack needed to be fed, and someone had to do something about it if the Alpha wouldn't. |

*Lilith* Beta Female | Soval | M: Nuzha Lilith was slowly stalking a flock turkeys in a meadow. She was nearing the end of the territory. She flicked her ears in annoyance. Her yellow eyes watching the flock patiently waiting for a turkey to stray off. She sat still in the eye of the forest in the shade. A massive Tom started edging away from the herd nearing her each yard. She lashed her tail slowly. She calculated. It turned around and she lunged with fullmpower. The turkeys looking at her gobbled and started running. The Tom that was near was too late to run as she stepped on it. She bent down taking a chomp on its side feeling the fragile bones crumble in her mouth. She was satisfied with her catch and slowly made her destination to the Watering hole. Her eyes locked onto Nuzha and she barked,"Good catch. Now we wait. You can try to fish some trout or fish. You fish them out and I kill. I'm not getting in the water." Her emotions were cold and hard. She hated water with a burning passion. She couldnKt swim and she nearly drowned from a flood. She looked at Nuzha with a questioning look. Her nose sniffing for Cassia awaiting for arrival. She put the turkey down away from the bank. She sat down bending to take a quick drink. Then retreated away before she got wet from the stream.

Cassia Soval Pack | Subordinate | Female | Mentions: Open
Cassia moved as quietly as she could as she searched for any signs of the hare she was tracking. Her ears swiveled and she was mindful of her steps, careful to keep from stepping on anything that would be too loud.
The scent had become fresher, causing her to move deliberately and slowly, eyes scanning as her nose quivered excitedly. She knew she was getting close, it was a matter of when she saw it, rather than if. The female was confident in that.
The barest whisper of grass being flicked, and the soft thud of flat feet against the ground froze the she-wolf in place. Her ears lifted and swiveled, quickly locating the source of the sound. Sitting quietly to her right, about two yards away, a plump hare sat. It was unaware of the wolf that was downwind of him, and was contentedly grooming his face with his paws. He would lick his paws, rub them over his face, and then up to his ears, pulling them down one at a time with the motion. The little tyke was blissfully unaware of the impending doom slowly stalking her way towards him.
When she was a merely few yards away from him, Cassia crouched and then immediately sprang forward as soon as her muscles were coiled. The lanky she was fast, her legs barreling her forward at top speed. The hare's reflexes were slightly faster and he sprang into movement shortly after she did. Unfortunately for him, though, it didn't give him too much of a head start, and quickly the lupine caught up.
Snatching the helpless creature in her jaws, she tossed her head up, and then swiped down, violently shaking him while crunching down with her jaws at the same time. An audible snap! filled the air and she dropped the limp body to the ground with a triumphant pant. Her tail swayed back and forth a bit with her success, and nodded gently to herself.
Knowing that one plump hare was all she could realistically carry at a time, Cass picked up the deceased creature, and turned. She knew she was expected to meet them back at the water, but decided to take a bit of a scenic route. She still remained in the northern portion of the territory, but she allowed herself to half heartedly scout while she did.
Moving towards her destination, the female took in tid bits of information, some of it useful, some of it just for her own knowledge. It didn't take long for her to arrive at the chosen spot, and she emerged from the trees, her gait a refined trot, her tail swaying behind her like a proud banner.

Crow Azca Pack | Delta | Male | Mentions: Esmra, Killian, Betas, Alpha
The male was enjoying his sun, though the apparent scowl upon his features would likely give the opposite idea, when movement around him caught his attention. His head swiveled a bit to identify who it was, the snow like coat giving it away quickly. Esmra, one of the pack's subordinates had found her own place to rest in the sun.
In another direction, one of the older wolves in the pack, Killian, had also moved into view, finding his own spot. Crow assumed that, like him, the wolf was letting the sun warm his bones, his muscles, so that movement was easier. For Crow it was not so much due to age as it was injury and compensation. His hind leg was always painfully stiff, and the constant compensation his good legs dealt with on a regular basis made them groan with reluctance too.
Truthfully, if Crow didn't get to partake in his morning ritual of sunning himself, it meant for a very irritable wolf. Those were the days no one wanted to venture into the male's line of sight.
His ears flicked as one of the betas, Alex, departed from the scene after apparently waking the Alpha. Who exited shortly after and over to the other beta in the pack. He could hear words be spoken, but he didn't bother paying too much attention for the moment. Not a lot was going on, and he assumed if it was important he would be called to or addressed.
For now, the male let his eyes close, enjoying the warmth of the sun and the day for just a moment longer.

.`* RUSKIVALIA *`. .`* AZCA PACK SUB *`. .`* Mentions: open *`. ... The wolf awoke. He hadn't even been dreaming, in such a deep sleep, yet something seemed to call for him. Ruskivalia got up, shaking moss and scraps off of his luscious, thick, moonlight colored pelt. He stepped out of the den where he slumbered, ears pricked, wondering what had awoken him from such a comfort. He gazed around the clearing, feeling hunger. He couldn't wait for patrols, his paws itched to go out. He may be half blind, half deaf, and pure luminosity, but he longed to go outside and tear at something, whether it be rabbit, elk, fox.. or wolf. His claws dug into the dirt, hostility rising from Ruskivalia's pelt as he slipped out of the den's entranceway. Wolf. Yes. Ruskivalia longed to tear into a wolf's pelt, feel the blood and bone beneath his teeth, feel the muscle squirm as they shrieked, aching to get away. His mind floundered back to his first and only battle. He had been shocked by the ferocity of which his enemy's fought, yet thrilled to find wolves as fierce as he longed to be. Sure, his hind leg had a bite mark scar etched into it permanently, but he had trained until he was strong enough to probably challenge the alpha's themselves and win. Maybe that was his own cockiness talking, but that was how ambitious Ruskivalia was, and how he would go to any length to rule his pack, how he would protect them with his life. Ruskivalia felt the aggresiveness fade, as he sat at the edge of the clearing and awaited for the alphas to send out patrols.
