"I know. I didn't think about it meaning anything..." Moonlight hung her head. "I wish I knew. Now Volcan is dead...I could have done something. I could've..." The words caught in her throat.

solar looked at her trying to contain his anger "still you should have told us that and this could have been prevented....but its done now next time you see something or think you do you come straight to me do.you.eunderstand?" he growled softly

Danny was bringing more prey back to camp and heard Solar growling at someone as she added the food to the food pile before heading back out to get herself something to eat she was hungry after a bit she came back with a rabbit in her mouth to eat

Divus/M/New Alpha of Forest Pack

It was almost a normal day. The birds were singing normally, the sun was shining and the wind was blowing just enough to make Divus shiver as he made his way through the woods. What wasn't normal, however, was that the large, brown male was drenched in blood.

Keres, Alpha male of Forest Pack, was dead.

It was a shame, really. A shame he had died so young. A shame he had died without a mate or pups. A shame that he had died without appointing who the next alpha would be. That therein laid one of the problems with pack structures.

It was a shame, too, that Keres hadn't listened to Divus when Divus had tried to explain these drawbacks to him and gain his favor. Divus had tried to get them to work together. Keres had responded less than favorably.

But, he knew the rest of Forest Pack would believe him when he claimed that Keres had made him the next alpha male with his dying breath. They had no reason not to. Divus was everything an alpha should be: brave, fair, logical, even merciful, in his own way. Keres' death had been quick, after all.

Now, Divus made his way to the small stream that separated Volcano and Forest packs' territories. He needed to wash this blood off him before he returned to camp.

Trackstar lays her head down after Tara licks her and lets out a sigh of relief. Making sure to be careful, she slowly shifts to ensure her paws aren’t under her anymore. And falls asleep. When she wakes up she notises Tatra still laying next to her but she realizes that hey are too close to the entrence of the den and are soaking wet, Trackstar looks up and whines then nudges Tatra to try and get his attention so they could go to the back of the den and lick themselfs dry. Getting a little frustrated since Tatra wasnt showing any signs that he was awake, she nuzzles him with her nose under his chin trying to wake him up.

Tatra woke the next day soaking wet his dark grey pelt now almost black and covered in mud the two white rings on his tail were now brown in places from the mud. He'd sigh quietly I need to wash this gunk off. He then exited the den to head to a nearby stream. Once he reached the stream he'd splash water all over himself. He did this for what he felt like was forever getting most of of it off exept for the bits that were just to sticky. He'd then look around for something warm to lay on to speed up the drying process.

Moonlight, tired and angry at herself, went back into the medic's den to think. I should have told him sooner, if there weren't so many distractions. She thought angrily.

Moonlight looked up at Viper. "Hmm...I think he headed back to the Alpha's den but that was probably before he left...so no, I haven't seen him."
