The mastiff snorted. ` ` Sure, because fires just appear outta nowhere on a snowy night. ` ` He rolled his eyes. This kid. He lifted his head, scenting the Alpha Dog. Finally. He was just about to turn around to speak with Tyke when he noticed the outsider duck behind him, trying to hide. Nosoi forced down a laugh. If he thought he could hide behind him like a little whelp, he had another thing coming. With a grunt, Nosoi pushed the intruder out from behind him, towards Tyke.

` ` This little punk was sneakin' around the camp. ` ` He narrowed his eyes at the canine before him before looking up to his leader. ` ` I say we skin him alive and then leave him to the cro- Why are you looking at me like that, I'm just kidding. I would never do that. But seriously, he needs to bee taught a lesson. Now. ` ` Nosoi huffed, fur slightly on end.

Niko stirred and woke up as she felt the Dakotas warmth leave her she looked up yawning and spotted the wolf standing by the fire. Niko bolted upright and they shifted to the other side of the fire from the wolf.

He doesnt look very old so hes probably about her age so Niko figures if it comes down to it, she can pin him. She moved back over to where Dakota was next to Echo.

Tyke | M | Alpha Dog | M: Nosoi, Echo, Juno, Keith, The Team

The explanations contradicting words had Tyke stilling. With Echo being his right hand, and someone he was more drawn to trusting... Tyke eyed Nosoi, clearly unamused with his choice of words before his attention turned back to the wolf. He was quiet for a moment, gaze flicking over Juno briefly contemplating his next words before letting out a small breath that clouded around him. In some ways, the wheel dogs suggestion was far more tempting. The creature had indeed intruded on their camp, their safety... Then again, it was frigid outside and the winds were terrible so the idea that the animal had told the truth about believing their fire to be vacant was... A possibility. Tyke blinked, looked to Echo once before looking down at the intruder and let out yet another breath.

"Be thankful your pelt won't be another warmer for our mushers sled, wolf."

His spoke slowly, quietly to the animal - as if he wasn't entirely sure the creature would understand him. Then his head lifted, his words were clipped.

"This poor excuse of an animal is not worth our energy nor our time."

A pause,

"He will be seen out and we will go along with the night."

Keith ~ M ~ Delta Wolf ~Mentions: Echo, Nosoi, Tyke, The Team

He growls at Echo for calling him a pup but froze and his jaw dropped in disbelief when Nosoi had they'd skin him alive. He lowered his ears in slight relief when the mastiff said he was kidding.

He looks at Tyke and growls louder than he had towards Echo.

"Poor Excuse?! Says the Collared Mutt!"

He bites back. Despite wanting to stay close to the warmth of the fire, he turns on his hind paws and starts walking away from the team.

His chest lowers, no longer puffed out in defence, once he walks pass the treeline. He breaks into a trot after he passes a few trees.

The two eldest wolves sat hunkered in the snow a good thirty feet from where the stench of dog scented. Mingled with their brother. After Thanatos' recommendation to check out the faint glow they'd seen before, the two males had padded their way over and sat there - watching the commotion in silence. Brakah had been close to facing the group himself when Keith made the idiotic move to bite back. But he forced himself back into a crouch, biting back a growl of agitation.

Thankfully, out of the "kindness of their hearts" it sounded like - the dogs let his brother go. Or rather, Keith walked away. Sure, that worked too - whatever, the scolding he'd receive from Brakah would be no different. The younger brother had turned the corner the two other wolves had been crouched at and was immediately bombarded with snaps.

"Did you have a nice little outing? Sure looked like it, nearly got your tail ripped off."

Brakah scoffed, shaking his head is disbelief.

"How could you have been so reckless? You could have died - did you think-"

He chuckled to himself, tossing his head as he spun from his brother.

"Who am I kidding, of course you didn't think. Anyone who thinks, anyone who has any thoughts in their head would have been able to tell that the fire was obviously occupied!"

He rambled to himself in a flury of cursed words and disbelieving whispers.

Echo shook her fur feeling grateful that Tyke let the intruder go but her paws wanted to move. Run, scout, hunt. Do something because she needed to think and she couldn't rest now.

"Thank you. Who know's how close his pack were", said Echo sniffing the air.

She needed to clear her head now after everything. She needed to have a walk or do something to think but leaving without letting anyone know was not the best choice.

"I need to go for a walk to think and sleep isn't coming to me tonight. I will becareful and I'll be back", spoke Echo looking around.

The black and white husky began walking away while avoiding stepping on tails or walking into anyone. She needed out and hopefully everyone wouldn't mind. She will come back to sleep after her walk. She will stay close.

Thanatos | M | Beta Wolf | Mentions: Team, Keith, Brakah

"Honestly Keith. Why would you think a fire would be abandoned?" He said this with a soft snarled trying to not be so harsh towards his younger brother. "That was too dangerous and you had me and Brakah worried and youre lucky the dogs let you go without any injuries" this time a bit harsher. He growled slightly and turned to follow Brakah as they all walked back to their camp. The wind chilled Thanatos slightly and his eyes felt the wind making him blink a lot more.

Thanatos couldn't help worrying about what might have happened to Keith right then while he was in the middle of the dogs' camp. Thanatos was just glad they showed him mercy without him and Brakah having to be involved in any way.

Once Thanatos got back to the camp, he immediately curled down with his tail over his nose and eyes to keep away the cold and attempted to drift off to sleep.

Rizou|male|teammate #2| m: the team (indirectly) open

Rizou had been woken from a nap when the wolf had come into their camp. He had stayed among the edges of the group, ready to get involved if he needed to. He was beyond relieved when the wolf had left the area. He didn't know if the wolf had been a lone wolf or not, and he hadn't wanted it to get into anything big or out of control. Glad it was over, he tried to go back to sleep but he was too restless. Giving up, he sat back up and gazed around the area.

Nosoi let out a resigned sigh at the Alpha's decision, but dipped his head briefly in assent. He straightened, watching as the intruder left the camp. His sharp gaze followed his every movement until his figure was swallowed by the night. Turning back to Tyke, the male said with a slight grumble in his voice: ` ` You let him off easy, y'know that? ` ` He flicked the tip of his tail. ` ` You're right, he isn't worth our time, but still. It'd send a message. ` ` Nosoi turned away and returned to his spot by the fireside. It was no longer molded to his figure, a fine coating of snow blanketing the area. He huffed, plopping down. The wheel dog knew he should rest - he would need the energy for tomorrow - but the enounter with the foreign canine had left him more riled up than he'd care to admit. He'd never seen a dog like it, neither in color or stature. Nosoi lowered his head to rest on his forepaws with a sigh, closed his eyes and tried to find slumber.
