Brute l Male l Beta l M: Sundown . He nodded, he hadn't planned on walking anyway. But when he mentioned to put pressure on it, he gulped. It was going to hurt real bad. But it wouldnt get better of he didn't. He laid his muzzle across his foreleg. Bitung the will to releaae it. He winced, it felt like his leg was on fire. He could feel the blood in his leg, and it hurt like wildfire. He started whimpering, not caring if he looked weak. |

Oreithiya The Medic | Female | The Raven Pack | Mentions : Brute, Sundown An alabaster wolf roamed in the night. Her fur a stark contrast to the dark night, one may have thought her an Angel with how brightly her fur shone at times. But she was far from those day, she had gathered some herbs to add to the storage and teach Sundown about. She was rather fond of her apprentice, he was like a son to her, though she wouldn't admit it. As she entered camp she noticed the lack of wolves and thought that odd. She had some poppy seeds, used in moderation to ease pain and hurt. And she then caught a whiff of her apprentice in the den, and it was rather recent. It seemed that there was a medical need as she noticed some supplies were missing. So she kept the poppy seeds, and then took some lavender oil, and a salve for healing made up of a mix of herbs and began tracing the scent. And that's when she came up upon her Beta very visibly hurt, and her apprentice doing his best to talk to him and take control of the situation. She noted how he asked what was hurting and keeping him conscious, especially with a head injury and also the harsher tone when he was not obeyed. And she smirked at that a bit, he learned that from her. But she frowned as he chewed up a bitter root and placed it on a leaf, " Tsk, tsk, tsk." She said as she made her presence known, and she strode over with confidence and placed down the items, "you were doing well, but you just made a mistake. Remember, bitter root is used to heal toothaches and sore throats, not a possibly broken leg. Observe, my little apprentice." And she took off the leaf he used and examined the male . " The leg definitely is heavily injured, hard to say whether it's a fracture or break, your instinct to use a splint is correct but you need to do other things first." And with that she went to the river gulped some water and held in and then came back and sprayed in on the leg, the wound needed to be clean and visible and not open for injury. And she did the same to his head. And she hummed thoughtful as she looked over their Beta. The scent of lavender and mint coming off her fur and her copperish eyes boring into the males soul. " Always make sure to keep your patient awake, especially with a head injury and also make sure to keep them calm and in the loop with what you're doing. " she instructed Sundown as she then turned her attention back to the injured Beta, " your head injury doesn't look as bad as your leg, you'll love. But I won't be sure until we get you back to the den to get a much better inspection on your condition." She said calmly but with firmness and she then went to her lavander oil and placed some on her paw, " lavender oil, good for dealing with swelling, inflammation, and pain. Also a calming agent for the mind. " she informed as she placed the cool oil on the wound. And then she got the leaf holding the gouta kola cream, and she explained this one, " helps fight against infection and healing." And she wrapped the leaf around the leg and using a stray vine tightened it to make sure it stayed. She then nudged a singular poppy seed to him and said, " This see will relieve a bit of pain for you. However, I am limiting the amount you ingest because poppy seeds do help with pain and inflammation but are also deadly and poisonous if too many are taken." She explained and then moved to grab the bark and the other vines to prepare a splint, and she looked to Sundown saying, " Can you tie this up tightly, and then put the remaining herbal salve on the head wound and then help him up to make sure he doesn't have anymore injuries." |

Aquila|F|3|Raven|Lead Hunter|M: Orien, Killjoy, River As they reached towards the end of the trip, the group paused to discuss arrangements for sleeping. Orein offered for the girls to take his den, and Aquila quite agreed, but she felt bad. "I can sleep outside too!" She yipped, limping forward. "I really don't care!" She glanced a look ar Orein. He's so selfless! It's inspiring. She caught herself starting and turned her gaze to filter between Killjoy and River. She caught eye contact with River, and she offered a small smile, her lashes fluttering as she was exhausted. |

River | F | 5 | Hunter | Raven | M: Killjoy, Orien, Aquila River flicked an ear, listening the the males talk while she kept an eye on Aquila. At her statement, River shook her head, "Not with that injury your not." She said before flicking her attention to the males and sighed. "Since you two can't figure something out, how about this: You boys can share a den and me and Aquila can take another. Is that so hard?" She said with her normal playful tone although there was a tired note in it. She made eye contact with Aquila and blinked gently at the female. |

[Sundown]M]Medic Apprentice]Raven]M:Ore,Brute,Night] "Tsk tsk tsk" Sundown had never been so relieved to hear Ore's tsking before. He spun around "Ore! You are here!" He said, his multi colored tail wagging, breaking through the still air. He watched her intensely as she explained his mistake, and made mental notes as she spoke. He nodded, not taking his eyes off of his mentor, soaking up every word. He felt embarrassed that he had put the wrong thing on the poor Beta's injures, but he had to learn one way or another. He was even more embarrassed when he realized that he'd forgotten to clean the leg. He'd assumed that since he'd just been in the water it would be clean enough. He nodded again, making sure that it wouldn't happen again. As he stood next to her, he let the familiar scent of lavender soothe him. The scent was more of a comfort thing by now then anything. He always felt safe when he smelt lavender because it remained him of her. He focused on her again as she began to speak about how to make sure that the patient was always awake while doing things. Even though it was one the first things he was taught, he liked that she would repeat it over and over. He nodded as she spoke about the poppy seeds. That was also one of the first things he'd been taught. Better to understand the dangers of a poppy seed early then too late. He thought. He began working on the vines to tie the splint. He hoped that it wasn't too tight to cause the Beta any pain, but he knew that it had to be tight. He tried to make sure that it wasn't tight enough to cut circulation, but tight enough to hold its shape. After a bit he stepped back to review his handy work. He looked at Ore, waiting a split second for her comments on it. He then began to spread the rest of the cool salve on Brutes head. Once that was done, he spoke to the male in a gentle voice, almost one that you would hear a mother speak to her pup. "Okay Brute, I'm going to help you stand. I want you to lean on me as we do so, and if you see black dots, you need to tell me immediately so that we can lay you back down before you pass out." He looked at his mentor for her approval. "Also, Ore, Night is on the other side of the river. I think he may need some help as well. I'd be willing to swim out and see if he does." He tensed up at the thought of swiming through the murky dark water, but that was part of his job, and he needed to know that his Alpha was alright. |

[Killjoy]M]Alpha]Eastern]M:Aquila,Orien,River,Rags] Killjoy looked at Orien as River spoke. "It's settled then. You two will be sleeping in my den, and I'll sleep in Oriens den. Aquila, you are in no shape to be sleeping outside, so take that thought out of your mind right this instant." He said firmly. He stopped at the large rock walls that hid his camp from the outside world. He took a deep breath, and led the group in to the middle. Around them, the cliff walls were lined with den openings, and there were narrow paths leading up to them, warn down from all of the years that it had been used. Paw print after paw print, generation after generation. He walked over to the food pile, and pulled out two of the fresh rabbits that had been caught just that afternoon. "Follow me to my den." He said, his deep voice muffled by the grey fur that he was carrying in his jaws. He led the way, slowly towards the back wall. He slipped behind the large boulder that blocked his den from the rest of the camp. He'd done it so many times since we was a pup that he didn't even hesitate when his side gently brushed against the rocks solid form. He didn't even notice it by now, it was just something that faded in the back of his mind. He entered his den, and laid the two rabbits down before starting to pick up the moss with his mouth to make the nest larger. "If you need water, let out a bark, and someone will fetch you some." He said after he had finished. He stepped out of the way so that they could see their resting spot. "Feel free to move it around as you'd like it. If you need anything, once again, let out a bark, and someone will come to your aid. Orion's den is just a couple of dens down, so we should be able to hear it." He stopped to sniff the air. Illusion it seemed had retired to his den already. Brecken and Marbled seemed to be asleep as well. He sniffed the air again, seeing if Rags was out. He needed to thank her for sending Hondo out to check on them, and ask her who she was planning for patrol in the morning, as well as if she and Illusion had picked out who would be hunting in the morning. |

Brute l Male l Beta l M: Sundown, Ore . Brute was relieved when he saw Ore. Not that Sundown wasn't a good medic, it was just that Ore was great. He was overwhelmed with all the information but anyway listened. He nodded at Sundown. His leg was tightly splinted, but he used his remaining three legs. He leaned on Sundown as he tried to stand, but fell the first time. He felt like giving up, like he was just going to sit out here and die. But then Night's words hit him. Its your choice. With that he pushed harder at the ground, he wobbled but stayed up. Finnaly to his paws he waited for Sundown to guide him to the den. |

Orien|M|8y|Hunter| M: Aquillia, Killjoy and River Oriens eyes went wide as Aquillia offered to sleep outside too. Orien turned to Aquillia with a frown. He was about to say something when River and Killjoy spoke. He nodded in a agreement as he felt himself staring into Aquillia's eyes. As she quickly looked away so did Orien. He decided to just look to the ground. Orien then nodded to his alpha's words before getting up to follow him. About three minutes later Orien was at the entrance of Killjoy's den with the girls inside. He nodded with his alpha's words before speaking to the girls. "Have a good sleep." Orien then started to trot towards a nearby tree. He made sure to sit down by the tree closest to Killjoy's den. |

Hondo l Male l Beta l M: Orien . Hondo saw from his den the group return. He watched the girls go inside and Orien stay outside. He got up from his den and trotted over to him. "Is everything ok? Is yhere anything I can help with?" He asked, looking at Orien. He really and truly wanted to help. |

Orien|M|8y|Hunter| M: Hondo Orien circled around three times before he plopped down. He let out a tired sigh as he closed his eyes. Just then Hondo came up to him. He reluctantly opened his eyes and looked at his beta. "Everything is fine, we all just need rest. As for anything to help with, i dont think so but if the girls bark it means the need something so you should go see what they need if they bark. But if you really want or need something to do maybe you should go ask alpha." Orien said sleepily. |
