He got down to the broken stick and took it out. "You shouldn't need it I had it there for extra support but it should be fine with out it." He said as he re worked the bandage til her wrist was wrapped again. He looked up at her searching for any sign that she might be mad.

Wisp took deep breaths, trying to steady her racing heart. Glancing at Emrys with a hopeful expression, she smiled shyly. "You wouldn't happen to have any more of that herb, would you?" She asked hesitantly.

"I think I might have something better but if it doesn't work then yeah I have more." He said. He lifted her chin up a little before pressing his lips against hers. After a moment he pulled away and asked "Still need the herbs?"

Wisp froze. Emrys, her childhood crush, had just kissed her. He was right. Her whole body, including her wrist, went numb as she sat there dumbly, staring at him with her mouth slightly open. She shook her head fiercely before looking at him again. She held out her good hand. "Help me up?" she asked with a crooked grin.

Emrys let out a small chuckle at her shocked expression. He stood up and grabbed her outstretched hand pulling her to her feet. "What's wrong? Should I not have done that?" He asked looking at her worriedly.

Wisp grinned at Emrys, her thoughts dissipating like mist in the sun. "Nah, you're good!" She said cheerfully, practically skipping back to her room, seemingly forgetting about her wrist. As she reached the hallway, she turned back to look at Emrys, her blue eyes shining. "Stay with me?" She offered, holding out her good hand.

Emrys smiled and took her had. " as long as you want me." He followed her down the hall and back to her room. "You ok?"

Wisp smiled, leading Emrys down the hall. "Yep!" She said brightly, in an impossibly good mood. Reaching her room, she let go of Emrys' hand and took a running leap onto the bed with a squeal, being extra careful of her bad wrist. She rolled over and looked at Emrys happily, knowing he probably looked at her like she was a child. "Oh, I gotta change-" She remembered out loud with a laugh. "You can come in instead of just standing in the doorway," she teased Emrys as she hopped off the bed and went over to her dresser to find something comfortable to wear.

Emrys smiled and shook his head. He walked in and looked down at his clothes. "Okay you change then after we are going to my house so I can change. Or we can go to my home and you can wear some of my clothes." He said with a shrug of his shoulders.

Wisp laughed. "I'd prefer my clothes, thanks," She teased. She glanced at what he was wearing. "I do want that sweater though," she added as she turned back to getting her clothing. She picked out a pale blue crop-top with little birds on it and some dark blue jeans. She took the clothing into her closet and came out a moment later, dressed. She struck a fake pose with a grin. "Ta-daa!" She said, laughing. "Aren't I so pwetty?"She grinned before turning to grab her backpack and stuff a couple of books into it.
