Kelly started shaking so much, her wings turning stark white.
“S-She’s o-ok r-r-right??” Kelly stuttered, as loud nosies and the tangy scent of blood filled the air. She whimpered, the gun shot bring back her earliest memory of her mothers death. She started shaking so badly she could barley stand up.

Luke then heard several dogs barking. "I hope she is. If Aspen is with her. They....s..should be fine." Right? Luke wondered. He ran towards their smell with Kelly following.

Maple saw as several dogs came at them. As they fought, Maple saw a dog carry something away. Maple looked down at Aspen who was missing a foot. Maple folded her ears back and looked around. Then, a dog came at her. Maple felt every muscle in her body tense up. The humans had destroyed everything that she had. Maple shed a single tear and barked at the dog aggressively. "YOU TOOK EVERYTHING FROM ME!!! MY FAMILY, MY FRIENDS, YOU EVEN TOOK MY PATIENTS! I HOPE YOU ALL DIE, YOU HURT MY PACK MORE TIMES THAN I CAN COUNT!!! THIS IS FOR MY FAMILY!!" Maple said as she pulled on the dog's leg, hearing the bone shatter. "THIS IS FOR MY FRIENDS!!!" Maple shouted, tugging at the dog's neck, breaking it as the dog stopped moving. "THIS IS FOR MY PACK!!!" Maple pulled the dog's front leg, ripping it off and tossing it toward Aspen. "AND THIS.....THIS IS FOR ASPEN WHO GOT HURT TOO MANY TIMES BY YOU STUPID, GREEDY, SELFISH, HUMANS." Maple ripped open the dog's chest, it spilling blood all over her paws. Maple reached in her snout, pulling out the dog's non-beating heart. She ripped it out, threw it on the ground, and pounced on it. She ripped it apart until the heart could no longer be recognized. Maple was then covered in blood. She had tear streaks down her face. She panted and tried to hold back her tears although it wasn't working well. She ended up crying and said, "I'm sorry." Maple looked at Aspen's leg. "We need to get y...you back to the rest of the p...pack." Maple sniffed, collapsing on the ground. She looked at the dog who was torn apart in front of her. "I hope you all die. You deserve it and no one likes you anyway." Maple growled, her hackles raised. She was mad but still crying. "Can you walk?" Maple asked Aspen.

Skadi gave a deep belly laugh having a good time then it was cut short by the sound of bullets and yelps. A machine was clearing its way into their area. She growled from deep in her chest launching from the tree she slammed into the bulldozer using her full weight to send it to its side. Her jaws lashing at the humans inside drawing blood untill she felt the jugular of the human operating it. Her eyes narrowed as she gave a fast bite forward clamping down. She jumped down as she felt a sharp pain as a bullet clipped her back hip. Dropping the throat of the human she had clenched in her teeth to the ground She jumped into the air and flew toward the fleeing pack " Alright this way". She led the way making sure they headed north. After she led them quite a distance she checked with Luna before circling back to find the others. She ran back covering the packs scent by running on the edge of a stream. She found a large Bull elk herd and quickly formed a plan. She slowly led the elk towards where she could smell her friends. Then she scented Luke with them. She projected her voice next to him "tell them all to duck". Waiting for them to listen Skadi then growled behind the Bull Elk making it sound like a large pack was about to chase them, they stampeded towards the humans and the last of the dogs sending them running with to many scents now to track. She ran up to the small group "come on we gotta go, Aspen I am big enough to carry you" she looked Luke up and down making sure he was alright

sky was shocked at maples outrage but she knew what she felt so she didnt say anything she just put her paw around her. Everything will be ok she said in a very quiet voice as she tryed not to pass out. when she saw Skadi running twards them she quickly removed her paw from maples back and looked at the ground as Skadi talked. She then nodded and carefully got on her and held on ready to fly. When Skadi took off she would flap her wings to help her fly easier and she would often look at maple to make sure she was keeping up ok. She didnt know how the bullet hole would impact her from flying.

sky woke up to air blowing her fur, it was like she was flying. Did i just fall asleep while flying she thought to herself. She then opened her eyes and was surprized at what she saw. The wolves where running again, probally from the humans she thought as she cleared the sleep away from her eye. She then noticed that she was on blue?! b, blue she said as her body tensed up.

Sky your awake blue said as he looked at her tenced body. It ok, i wont drop you he said as he chuckled a bit. Even though he was making a joke in his mind he hoped he wouldnt drop her.

w, where is Emily, and Aspen and they others she said as she looked around, she could see most of the wolves but she couldnt see luke, aspen, maple, Skadi or kelly. She then looked behind her and saw them, they were behind them, not to far away but she only saw their outlines. She held on to blue hugging him, then she jumped off and flew right beside him. She knew they were running but this was a magical moment for her. She glided closer, their wings touched as the glided together. She remembered looking at blue and he looked at her. They locked eyes then sky blushed as she looked down at the ground as they flew.

blue locked eyes with sky as they flew, the tips of their wings even touched. He saw as sky blushed and looked down at the ground. He couldnt help but feel blush spread onto his face. The rest of the flight they flew in silence.

aspen could see the outlines of the, wait no their pack in the distants. She hated running and how was she sposed to tell her brother and her friend about what happened. Anger and sad tears filled her eyes up. she felt like screaming like maple but no, emotions were made to be felt but not shown she thought to herself. She could feel blood leave her leg, getting Skadis tail bloody. She could also feel her eyes get heavier but she kept herself awak beacuse she knew if she fell asleep she might not wake up. She hated this, why did the humans have to do this to a whole pack of wolves. She shook her head to remove the thought and to keep herself awake.

Kelly padded quietly behind Luke. She was shaking so hard she could barley trot. The blood made her faint and Maple's outburst scared her. She couldn't even look at Aspen's missing foot. Her wings were shaking so hard they never stayed on a single color for long- every second they changed from white to black to light blue to orange and so on. Her mind was whirling, she needed fresh air away from the blood. She slowed down and slipped off into the woods, traveling until she came to a river. She sat down and watched the sunset in the reflection, getting herself back together.

Luke turned his head to see Kelly flying off. Her wings were changing every color. Luke followed her and landed in a branch not too far from the river she was by. Luke watched Skadi fly in the distance. He looked back at Kelly and he folded his wings. Luke sat on the branch and looked at the river. It was reflecting the beautiful sunset and the full moon rising in the sky. Luke sighed hoping that the humans couldn't follow them. He then looked back down to Kelly, "Are you alright?" he asked.
