Of course this is how it was going to be happening and as more people stepped into the circle, her chances of leaving unnoticed lowered. She was muttering under her breath when the Queen entered. An eyebrow raised in curiosity that the woman would leave this lavish home in order to travel, but then maybe she was wanting to protect her child. With a quiet shrug for her own thoughts, the young woman barely heard the rest of the speaking until the brand seared into the palm of her weathered hand. Her eyes watched as it appeared, not feeling the pain immediately due to the years of calluses that she had built upon the tender area.
She followed behind in line with the others minding her own business, looking for a chance to possibly slip away from the chaos. Though it would be fruitless as the doors of the armory opened wide. Her whole body groaned as she hestitated for a few moments before finally crossing over the threshhold. Her eyes were watching what everyone else was heading to and she had been about to head towards the longswords when she was bumped into by the timid man that had arrived with the one very obnoxious criminal.
Sparks flew across her skin after the contact and she turned on him much as a wolf to hits prey. Her hand began reaching for one of the swords, stopping just shy of the pommel hearing his timid words. "It seems that is what everyone is saying to me today."
Her tone cold with annoyance as she let her hand return to her side. "Though if we are going to all be working together, you should probably keep your eyes up and where you are walking. Those two things" She points to the ears on his head. "should be sensitive enough to hear if anyone is coming up behind you. Focus your attention ahead otherwise I will not be the only one that you run into and many others do not take as kindly as I do to being jostled about."
An attempted at a joke as she let out a strained breath through her nose. Her attention turning once more to the longswords, finding a rapier that she lifted, inspected, then put back to pick up another one of the blades. Her movements matched one that knew what to look for a blade that matched with the handler. "Have you found what weapon you are going to be using for this adventure?"
