There conversation had been cut short as both fallow and soma's attention drew twords the bushs and her heart panicked for a moment as a male emerged his tall shadow soon casting over as he inspected her carefully. She bowed her head in his presence and fallow had already introduced her before she could speak keeping her tail low to the ground but not tucked like before though his pacing made her anxious. "I.. guess im not opposed to the idea of it. I cant say im exactly familar with a packs way of life as ive spent the majority of mine alone on the moor." * she could smell him but she hadnt been eagar to meet him his scent still rather unfamilar, her stomach growled its noise alerting her to what she had forgotten in her restless curiosity. It then dawned on her that there might actually be something useful in choosing a pack, hunts would be much easier. "Hey is anyone else hungry or is it just me?" *she had hoped that hunting together might show more about these strange wolves personalities and if staying was really the right choice *

Relic peeked inside the den first, "Okay but we need to bring some back for her." He said mentioning Zara as he brought his nose to the air wafting it for any scents of a good hunt. "Hm, the meadow should be plentiful in elk if they've moved back from yesterday." He added thinking maybe she didn't want left overs. Without anything else to say he started to pad off into the forest his sister closley running by him snapping at his maw playfully. His tail was wagging as he managed to ignore his sister while making his way into the cleared meadow. There were elk slowly grazing their way back into the prairie. Strategically he turns at them, it seems fallow already knows what to do as she stalks off into the tall grass. His eyes land on Soma, "You help chase down an elk with Fallow. I'll be waiting to help bring it down." He barked before disappearing into the tall grass. Quickly he hid waiting for fallow and Soma to find a suitable elk to hunt.

"I think that injured wolf would also enjoy something..different" *she was grateful not having to eat the leftovers as the carcuss they had there reeked, she much prefered something fresher*

She followed behind close to fallow stalking the grass as she did also ingnoring her playful behavior with relic only giving a slight smile as she bit at his muzzle. Once they had reached the clearing she crouched down just nearly touching the dirt with her belly tasting the air with a quick lick. "You think we should go for element of suprise?" *She lifted her head up in a short sudden nod her muzzle pointing towards a mature but sickly looking doe elk hidden near the middle outskirts of its herd seemingly protected. *Soma edged forward a body length placing herself next to fallows side, she was dilgently focused on the herds moving pattern as the two creeped closer.

Fallow gave an uncertain look to her, "Are you sure? My birth pack says sickly meat gives terrible disease... Momma learned that the hard way." She whispered as her eyes loomed to a stubby yearling whom seemed to have some meat on them. Her tail pointed at the yearling cow elk. Without any confirmation from Soma she had already stalked off her mouth watering. Looking back at Soma quickly before clamping her jaws over the leg of the cow elk. The elk let out a bugle of alarm as they tugged trying to loosen the grip that Fallow had on her leg. She could see Relic in the distance sprinting towards her and Soma.

You have a poin-" Her words cut off as fallow ran to the herd quickly securing the first bite. Soma's eyes darted to fallow then relic sweeping in from afar, her own paws soon picking up the pace as she lunged for the yearlings throat. As her canines punctured its asophagas she felt its lungs colapse under her jaw's tug though not for long as the corner of her eye noticed the angry hoofstomps of its elderly mother charging straight for them. She had to let go, in quick thinking she swung around in defence moving out of its path and distracting the old cow from pumbling them. However soma's grip on the earth nearly slipped, trembling from the thrill of the hunt and nearly taking devastating hit to her spine. She continued manuvering around the cow ellk for what felt like hours "I just need to do this long enough for relic to get here" she panted her energy quickly draining.

Relic was hot on their heels making a powerful lunge at the older elks haunches. He secured a heavy blow, the angry elk had stopped its pursue on Soma. The elk aimlessly struggled starting a bumpy ride for Relic. His jaws were dug into the elk with a strong force as he saw Fallow slip beside the elk at a fast pace soon snapping at the legs trying to make the elk stumble. The elk furious and unstable let our a alarmed sound of yelp as they managed to miss place their hoof and stumble. He gave Fallow a look telling her to wait till Soma could help, he felt Soma would like to make the kill.

Relic had joined the party at nearly perfect timing with admirable speed. Once she had gathered her breath once more the elk was nearly fumbling to ground with relic's firm grasp above and fallow right at its hooves, the oppertunity for the kill was open but she hesitated at relics genuine offer and friendly glances where exchanged. 'Perhaps that was a proposition she was a member of the pack now?' she thought. She didnt waste another second unwilling to loose this kill as the panicked stampeed ran for safety around them, she closed in grabbing the elk the same way as the calf before. Its legs flailing about until they finally went limp with muffled cries. She gave a silent thanks with closed eyes and pinned ears before releasing her grasp, its short and damp ruffled fur clung to her muzzle as she pulled away blood staining her muzzle.

Relic licked the blood around his muzzle, jaws parted panting heavily. He slowly lowered his snout to the cow elks hide taking in its scent with grateful thanks. His eyes laid on Soma, a new found respect for the suddenly stunning she-wolf. Sighing he raised his head up, snout faced at the falling moon. A long victorious howl bursting from his parted snout. Soon the howl was harmonic and soft with the additional singing from Fallow. His eyes closed as he embraced their victory.

"Your howls are angelic" * a light smile appeared as she joined in song. A long, low and sturdy howl erupted from her chest like a talent she never knew was there. *She waited for eveyone to finish the song* "Welll.. what are we waiting for? Lets eat" *Her stomach growled again but Soma was unsure of whether or not she should take the first bite..after all this was a pack with different customs then the average loner*

Relic dipped his head at her with thanks for helping before he started to rip the elk open feasting at its meat. His eating speed was a refined paste of speed not wanting to look starved. A couple minutes went by till he lifted his head allowing Soma and Fallow to eat. Fallow rubbed her head against him before eating. He ate a couple more bites before fully full. His eyes fell over to the sun rising as he sat down waiting for them to finish.
