Phantom awoke quite mad because Her father refused to take Her with Him but She was still to young to hunt so She would have to stay behind, She chewed on a stick waiting for Her father and brother to return soon She smelled the scent of a dead deer and She became excited, She jumped around licking at Her dad's cheeks and pawing at Her brother to show Her thankfulness for the meal Her father and brother worked hard to get, While She waited for Her turn to eat She played with an older wolf named Delta that seemed annoyed by Her.

Wolke I Male I 9 months old I Mountain pack First rays of a new day awoke a young wolf sleeping at deeper part of the den, corner designated for pups who need protection against nature or predators. Well guarded place was also warmed by bodies of slumbering wolves, some sleeping alone, others leaning on each other or ,in special case of those unruly sleepers, sprawled over unsuspecting victim. Greyish wolf, a tall shadow that did not appear as aftermath of soul'd departure from world, didn't need natural phenomens such as brightness of a day to light his mind with sense of urgency and feeling of inadequacy, rousing him from a sleep at such an early hour. Still, knowing how this window of time won't be open for much longer, wolf weaved around others to get to a cave opening, one of many that were etched in mountain's intimidating cliff. Cold breeze shook him briefly for his fur wasn't particullary thick or long, making him wonder how that could be when he hails from pack of wolves that had coldness as company for generations or why he was named Wolke, when there was nothing fluffy or cute about him. He swiftly took the shortest route out of camp area, not bothering to stop for breakfast that probably wasn't there. Prey was becoming sacred and winter wasn't all there was to it; he was sure of it. He needed to get out there, find something and bring it back to feed others, cause as a future of his pack he needed to be able to do so, to be a hunter and provider, not a lame excuse for a predator. Trails of scent were few, but they all led downwards where slope was less inclined, calmed by river cutting through meadow. Area was large, quite open, but if he kept to outskirts where bushes were thicker he ought to find a small animal or drowzy bird. Edited at January 18, 2023 12:17 PM by Written The Wolf

Delta | River Pack | Hunter (In training) The young she-wolf watched as the two took down and killed the deer, and quickly hurried back to the den so they wouldn't notice she was missing. When they returned, her stomach growled and she licked her lips awaiting the delicious meal. Her thoughts were interrupted by one of the pups, Phantom, wanting to play with her. Usually she adored pups, but she was hungry and not in the mood to play. She bowed anyways, hoping she didn't notice her annoyance as she pawed and nuzzled the young female, being careful not to harm her.

Phantom whined happily when Delta decided to actually play with Her because usually older wolves wouldn't want to do so, She bowed slowly to Delta showing Her respect to the wolf because She didn't want to disobey Her elder that was nice enough to play with Her, She bounced around wondering if Delta would follow Her lead She howled when She slipped but regained Her footing and went back to Delta redoing Her steps of what She had just did, She continued to wait until the alphas we're done eating for Her to eat, She layed down after playing with Delta and looked to Her parents as They ate. Talon stood from His spot of eating letting the others know that He was done and that They could eat He then turned to face Phantom who had just howled which usually meant She hurt Herself, He raced to His daughter making sure She wasen't hurt and once He realized She wasen't He walked up to the Alpha rock and layed down looking down at His pack, He whined licking His chops as Phantom jumped up onto His back, He stood up giving into the pup's needs He knew She wanted to play and He was a sucker when it came to His daughter, He bowed down and rolled showing that He was ok with playing.

Aspen huffed running to an open spot He viciously nipped at another wolf for taking the spot next to Him, He wanted to save that spot for Delta and when the same wolf tried that spot again a whole fight broke loose, Teeth baring, Spit flying and blood spraying everywhere, Aspen wasen't a wolf to mess with and when that wolf realized it went to another spot Aspen licked the other wolves blood off of Him before going back to His spot, He whined for Delta to come over since He had a crush on Her for a while now and didn't know how to tell Her. (Btw I swapped Aspen's crush from Saruka to Delta) Edited at January 18, 2023 01:20 PM by The Runner's Pack

Puddle I Male I 3y/o I Loner Giggles rang out as already brown wolf rolled in a muddy puddle , name of a joke being that the wolf bore the same name - Puddle! Thick matter glued to a thick hide in chunks that did not all fly off as animal ran in circles, thrasing and shaking to take of excess mud. Puddle needed something to cover up his natural scent so he could have a safe day of scavenging at edges of the River pack terrain without being noticed. He could flee well enough, but it was a nice day in his opinion so he wished for no confrontation. ' Any carcass will do ' his thought as he cantered, switching invisible lanes between tall elastic spines of water foliage that swayed with his movement as well as wind, proving to be a smart road to pick. 'Or I could try for a fish later, if I don't find anything' Fish weren't easiest prey to catch, but were fun and exploitable for a elusive creature who was used to waiting in a same spot for long periods of time. The fact none of pack wolves would usually be interested in such a small portion meal that included getting your hide wet made it all more attractive to a loner like Puddle.

Delta | River Pack | Hunter (In training) Delta shied away at the sight of a fight breaking out, ears pinned to her head as she watched Aspen lash out at another wolf. Feeding time was always very stressful for lower-ranking pack mates, and was her least favorite time. When things settled down, her ears perked up at the sound of Aspen whining for her, and she happily bounded towards him. She softly nuzzled his neck and took her spot beside him, eagerly munching away at the deer to satiate her gnawing hunger. When she was finished she gave him a lick to show her thanks, and padded out into the morning sunlight, heading towards the closest river for a refreshing drink. Mansi | River Pack | Beta Female As usual, Mansi was one of the first to the carcass. She growled at the fighting wolves, but it was broken up before she could intervene, thankfully. She had been so hungry she didn’t take the time to stretch out the stiffness of the night, and didn’t feel like dealing with unruly wolves at the moment. Being an older wolf definitely had its advantages within a pack, but with old age also came the unfortunate aches and pains. While her body isn’t as useful as it once was, her mind and wisdom keeps her at the top. Having strong alphas to back you up doesn’t hurt, either. She quickly ate her fill before making room for the rest of the pack, meandering off into the forest for some peace and quiet. Rhaegal | Loner The small male had finally found something worth eating - a small wounded doe, separated from her herd and digging into the light snow to uncover a patch of grass. He stalked quietly in the distance, positioning himself for the perfect ambush, taking note of her limp in her front right leg. He skulked closer and finally burst out of the bushes, latching onto her neck and crushing her airway. A few minutes passed before he was sure she was dead. He immediately dug in, devouring what he could knowing someone could show up at any minute to take what was rightfully his. He heard paw steps behind him, and glanced up to see a huge male, teeth bared and fur upright showing his obvious aggression. Rhaegal gave a growl but ran off, knowing he stood no chance against the brute. At least I got to eat something… He thought as he weaved through the trees back to his area. His den was a small hole dug under a large tree that provided plenty of shade during the hot summer months, but tended to get quite chilly during the winter. It provided just enough space for him and one other wolf, though there was nobody else to keep him company. Edited at January 18, 2023 03:15 PM by Kazimir

Saige | F | Scout | Mountain | M: Pack(ind), Open The females laid in the scout den, sighing softly. She seemed to be longing for something. But what was it? She wasn't allowed out of the camp until her pups were born now because she would be an easy target, which kind of sucked. But, Saige also didn't really mind it. The female soon stood up, her round and plump stomach drooping a bit. It was obvious that the scout was very pregnant. It was also surprising how soon she climbed in rank within the pack. The female had just joined not to long ago after the death of her late mate. After taking a few steps from the den, she looked around at the pack, noticing first the alpha male. Though seeing that there really wasn't anyone else awake, she decided it was better to leave the male alone. Saige turned her small yet large frame and headed toward the place where the pack drank. Once there, Saige lowered her crania and lapped at the water after breaking some thin ice, her banner swaying gently behind her. She soon sat back onto her haunches, wincing slightly as the pups that grew inside her kicked and rolled around. It wasn't hard to see them doing so on the outside of the female either. "You guys sure are active today, huh?" she asked the pups, looking down at her stomach before lapping at it for a minute before she stood up and turned to head back toward camp. Loki | M | Omega | Mountain | M: Daemon(dir), Saige(ind) The male had been up for a while now. He didnt get much sleep, never did. Loki didn't like to sleep because if he did, he usualy got picked on, especially if he slept in later than the rest of the pack. He huffed as he looked around the quiet camp, noticing Alpha Daemon and bounding over to him. "Good day Alpha! How are you?" he asked gleefully, dipping his head in respect for the other male. Whilst awaiting and answer, he noticed the pregnant scout exiting the camp. His audits veered forward, he found the female quite attractive, but knew it would never happen. Huffing slightly, he turned his attention back to his alpha. Saruka | F | Omega | River | M: Open The female was out and about around the camp, her tail wagging behind her excitedly for the day. Saruka was always excited, especially for a new day to come along. Her pack never treated her very well, but, she didn't really care. She knew she could fend for herself, though, sometimes it was hard. Especially throughout the winter. Saruka was very surprised by the amount of food they couldn't get over the winter. Usually, the caribou and elk loved the cold. After scouting the camp, even though it wasn't her job, she laid down infront of the small omega den and waited for someone to come talk to her. Yukon | F | Loner | M: River Pack(ind) The large, lanky female female stalked through the bushes, her breath visible on the air with each exhale. This winter had been harsh, Yukon did her absolute best to get any food she could, but it wasn't enough. She had been hunting most of the day, but nothing came of it. Stupid packs.. always hogging everything.. She thought as she passed by the River packs camp. The female was only a few yards from it at this time, but, Yukon was unsure if she wanted to pursue what she had planned out. Hell, she wasn't even sure if they had any food. The large fae huffed and just hunkered down in the bushes, thinking over her plan..

Daemon | Mountain Pack | Alpha Male The large male had just settled back down when he saw an Omega, Loki, happily making his way towards him. His tail wagged slightly in response, and listened as he asked about his well-being. He noticed his attention shift to one of the females, Saige, “I am well, thank you Loki. We’ll have our paws full soon, won’t we?” He laughed softly as he glanced in the direction of the female. His focus shifted back onto the deer, licking his chops as he awaited his meal. He could eat now, but he always waited for Ráðgríðr to join him.
