I hear Ace howling, and suspect Sparrowhawk is lost. I join in his chorus, to lead, not to make friends. I trot into the woods to find him, just to meet him heading out.

He heard howls and ran toward them, slowing and sheepishly wagging his tail when he got closer. He said, "Hey Ace." His tone was less angry. He still felt like he had to apologize, but that didn't mean he wanted to. "I-um. I'm... sorry." He padded over to Night, draping his tail over her shoulders, and silently inviting her to come into the woods with him.

I follow Sparrowhawk into the woods. "Yeah Sparrow? Are you okay, your bleeding." I say. I have something to tell him, but his welfare comes first. I lick his bleeding shoulder and nuzzle his neck.

"Yeah yeah whatever I don't care about your apology." I snarl and walk up to the panda and shake my fur of the water." Sorry not meant to be towards you." I walk over to a boulder and hop on it

"I'll be fine, my sweetest. I just scratched myself on a branch." He licked her back, laying down and rolling over so he could wave his paws at her in a cute hello. "I haven't seen you all day, dear! I mean, not alone. All these animals are kind of scaring me. Especially that strange hissing noodle. And the big pink one."

I look from night, to sparrow to ace. I smile at him and I then turn back to my little hunting party. "Shall we head out?"

He lifted his head and looked at her, sensing her emotions. "What is it, my sweet mate?" He sat up, shaking the dust out of his long fur, and padded over to sit next to her and lean his head against her shoulder.

"It's, it's. I'm, your." I studder. "It's." I take a deep breath and finally get out what I want to say. "Your going to be a father." I lay my head on my paws lean into Sparrowhawk's shoulder.

I walk into the woods and see Sparrow and Night talking so I sneak up on them making sure I don't make a sound and listen to them, I hear something about Psarrow being a father and back away accidentally stepping on a twig and it makes a loud noise." Shoot." I hiss
