Well, I think that one way to refurbish this site with excellent roleplays is for us here to actually make some of our own, and to join one another's. Perhaps people who have ideas for plots can discuss them here, and we can workshop and make suggestions for improvement.

Okay! Here are my current ideas; - 1. Flee through the night Genre: Semi-literate, survival, fantasy Plot: In the year 2090 the first child was born with abnormal features. This child quickly went 'missing.' Later, the police claimed they died of natural causes. Over the years, despite the government trying to hide these children, more where born. Some of these, escaped and survived. The government has warrants put for their capture or disposal. The role-play focuses on one group of bounty-hunters and a runaway group of 'abnormals' trying to survive in the year 2120. The elder adults in the group, of age 18-29, are attempting to protect younger teenagers they've found of the ages 14-17. The roleplay is mainly about this group attempting to find a safe place to stay, or, attempting to change society's view on them. - Roleplay 2: Breakaway Genre: Animal, Wolf, Semi-literate, love(?) Plot: In times of struggling the solar pack reached dangerously low numbers. In an attempt to stop the pack from dying out, the alphas at the time decided on a pairing system, where they'd match juveniles with eachother who seem to have good chemistry in hopes of growing the pack. This worked! The pack grew large and strong. The thing is... This was meant to be temporary, yet 5 generations later, it's still in place. The current group of juveniles containes the current alpha pair's pups. This group of juveniles are unhappy about the current system, and are plotting to change it. They've seen how unhappy some of their parents are and don't want to be the same. They've witnessed how other packs work, and want to break the tradition. - The names are a WIP. Let me know your thoughts on these ideas!

Ooh, Flee Through The Night sounds really really interesting and fun.

I really like the concept of Flee Through the Night as well. About how many characters are you imagining? Are you hoping to have characters that are bounty hunters and abnormals, or just abnormals?

Probably both. I'd have a pair and one group of bounty hunters with maybe 15-20 abnormals max. I'd be sort of strict with the sign ups and how literate they are. - Would both of you guys join if I attempted to set this rp up? I might create a poll to try and see how many people might end up signing up. I'd adjust the group sizes based on that.

Well, it can be difficult to manage an RP with two rival groups, because in essence it becomes two different RPs, and when they do interact it's conflict by neccesity, which can be hard to keep fair and balanced. And I myself won't join an RP with over about 12 people, so I probably wouldn't join, but that doesn't mean other people won't! A poll is a good idea.

That's a good point! I may end up cutting out the bounty hunters and just have them appear as NPCs when needed. Would you stretch to joining a group of 15? It might be fun to run a smaller, more literate rp.
