Amy had finally caught up with Joel and walked next to him. Amy noticed a small cafe and guessed it was where they are heading. She wondered if the angel was even following. Samuel|M|17|Demon|Mentions: Amy.
Samuel slowly woke up and grumbled at the slightly open Christmas. He began procrastinating with himself for awhile until he rolled out of bed , he yawned and shrugged on a hoodie that he got last Christmas, it was a light blue and gold one with a brownish black coffee bean in the middle. His mind had set him up as he knew he wanted coffee. He trudged downstairs and ate his breakfast quickly. He made a coffees and walked over to wher Amy had sat. He then sat down and sipped on his coffee slowly beginning his daily morning routine. He lounged around a bit and then went upstairs again. After he had changed he looked around for the old van that he couldn't drive yet. It was an old rusty van with an door st the side where you could but the door open snd it would be open to see the stars from. He sighed and rummaged in the attic for some tools to help fix The old broken van. Edited at May 26, 2022 01:45 PM by Pastry Lord

Faye Dupont-Kim | 25 | She/Her | Sorceress | Neutral | Mentions Amy, Joel, & Ileum Faye’s position quietly watching the demon interact with a person she couldn’t quite see didn’t turn up too much information, but she didn’t approach until she noted the arrival of an angel. The two seemed to have an immediate disdain for one another, of course. As she watched, the situation seemed to quickly be devolving. Ah, shit. This was going to end in a fight. And she couldn’t very well leave them alone to kill one another, could she? No, no, she couldn’t. If they fought, they might bring in someone who wasn’t as durable. They began to walk away, herded by a man that was –hopefully– another mystic. Other mages tended to be the peacekeepers when this sort of thing happened. Nonetheless, she approached quickly, shoving her phone back into her bag. She was well aware that she did not cut an imposing figure at a good foot shorter than the two women, but she tried to play the older, powerful sorceress card. She approached, keeping her distance, but coming close enough to speak. “You two are an interesting pair,” She commented, eyeing the two women as she came up beside them, walking alongside the three, though she kept some distance. “I do hope you aren’t planning to cause any…problems.” She glanced at the man with them. “And I hope you are here to keep that from happening.”

Joel Yorick [] 489 [] He/Him [] Neutral [] Magic User [] M: Amy, Faye, Ileum [Ind.] They walked in silence, no words shared for quite some time. They'd reached the outskirts of the park by the time the Demon had spoken. "Sorry about ruining your investigation". Joel looked over at the girl, his eyes softening ever so slightly. Ruined was a very harsh manner of thinking... Disrupting was a better term. Still, he couldn't help but shake his head at the girl's words. 'Don't be like that...', he mentally chastised. '...Don't apologize, just think.' Levity could be used, he supposed. The tension of life for both these young girls must have been rather thick with the War, the numerous reports of dead and missing children, regular everyday life struggles... And now toss a seemingly upset Mage into the mix. There was a little bit of guilt eating within him at that moment, but he didn't let it show. He simply kept walking, occasionally looking over his shoulder for anything out of the ordinary. They reached the outer streets, leaving the park in its entirety when a forgien voice spoke out. "You two are an interesting pair. I hope you aren't planning to cause any... problems". Joel immediately turned to face this new speaker, his introspective thoughts swapped for his usual annoyed demeanor. 'Where do all these people keep coming from?', he wondered. Joel stared at the black haired women for a moment, something akin to mild wonder as he felt something resonate from her. Magic. She too was a Magic User. It was then, in that breif moment of realization a small sardonic grin grew on his face. Of course it was today... The day every Mystic and their Mother just decided it was a good idea to go see what Joel was up to today. At this rate, he'd never find the damned Vampire. "And I hope you are here to keep that from happening", the Magic User continued. His thoughts shut off by her words, all he could do was stare. Was that supposed to be an insult or a genuine question? "... Sure.", Joel replied sharply, still unsure of how to approach this stranger. He gave the Magic User another once over, curiosity peaking slightly. "Now, how come your asking me to do all the work? Isn't it a Mage's duty to keep the peace?", he asked matter-of-factly. He rubbed his beard in a puzzled manner, whether it was a manner of jest or he was actually confused was debatable. [Eh. Not great on my part. Never been good at coming up with dialog]. Faye Dupont-Kim | 25 | She/Her | Sorceress | Neutral | Mentions Amy, Joel, & Ileum Faye kept an eye on the demon and the angel as the demon spoke. She found herself looking up at everyone in this group. All giants. Irritating, but she kept that same confident posture she always had and tried not to feel like she was being dwarfed by the two very tall women around her. She arched an eyebrow at the demon’s comment about not caring for violence, casting a quick glance at the daggers she carried, but didn’t comment on it. She could at least accept that this one wasn’t about to start anything in the middle of the street, although, given their entire belief system in this war, she did find it somewhat surprising. Still, she kept her voice even and calm as she spoke. “I see. I assume you understand the concern, wars and whatnot,” She turned her attention back to the other magic user at his comment. Ah. That did sound more like an insult than she had intended. An unfortunate tendency. He seemed to have some rather strong opinions about their roles as mages. He wasn’t wrong, she supposed, but she didn’t take the role particularly seriously. “I’m not asking you to do all the work here. Merely confirming. Never can be sure,” She replied. “If I expected you to do all the work, I’d have walked right away from the big blue neon signs saying ‘trouble this way’ that are these two ladies. I had to see what was going on for myself,” A slight, crooked smile tugged at her lips for a brief moment. “As for us being peacekeepers, I suppose that’s technically correct. Not what I’d consider my primary occupation, but I help where I can. And this seemed quite interesting. Or, well. More like quite likely to devolve to something violent, which I suppose necessitates intervention far more than something merely interesting,”
