Within the cave where the figure lurks, a small light can be seen. The light of a laptop, and along side it a phone. It's 3 am and she is up again. She knew it was a horrible idea. The life she had committed herself to. But she would be lying if she said she didn't love every second of it. She was Waiting. Waiting patiently...well as patiently as she could. Frustration was rising as she refreshed the page again. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. The page was still blank. The green light was still on though. Busy, the girl reminds herself, yeah...they are just busy. But they said they had no life? Are they living what small life they have? The music continues, and the page refreshes another hundred times. Nothing...still nothing. Patience, she reminds herself, patience is a virtue. YEAH well it's a virtue she didn't want! The page is refreshed again and again, every second, every minute. It had only been 5 minutes since the last reply. Was that considered desperate? Well if it was then let her be desperate!! Once, the girl had a life. Or at least, somewhat of one. Now, she never leaves her technology without thinking about it over and over. You could call it sad, but the girl's crazed smile never leaves. The story had lasted for so long now...and it was the best thing she had ever done. Every reply sent shivers down her spine, left a smile imprinted on her face. Sometimes the reply made her cry...sometimes laugh and other times squeal. She had talked about it so much her friends wanted to run away (Hah! What friends?) but they didn't understand. No, they could never see inside the mind of a crazed maniac such as the girl. So obsessed with one simple story. Little did they know just how addictive and beautiful this one story was!! Every second was spent thinking about it, replying to it, or waiting. Waiting for the little white message icon to appear in the right corner of her screen. She had ignored all other notifications, afraid of being disappointed that they weren't the ones she was looking for. No. This roleplay was the special one. The one she had left her life behind for. The one she never shut her trap about. Another 5 minutes passed, but to her it feels like days. Finally that little icon appears and her face lights up. Internally she is screaming, but considering it is 3 am, her lips stay sealed. There are bags under her eyes as sleep pulls at her eyelids. The comfort of her bed wasn't helping. She should sleep. She had stuff to do in the morning. There were only two ways this would go: She would either wake up feeling like a zombie...or she'd be more hyper than a monkey on steroids. Sleep sounded like a good option...but to leave the roleplay!? It would kill her! The suspension would be the death of her. She should sleep, but she wasn't going to. No, she would never give into sleep. She would fight it. A terrible idea, but she would. She downed another glass of water, played another song on her phone and clicked to read the message, promptly reminding herself that...
Sleep is for the weak!!!!!!!!!!!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ By the off chance you are stalking me again, Adrikins (Hope you don't mind me calling you that ^^') This little story is dedicated to you! And how much our roleplay has consumed my life XD
You should feel honored. A whole section dedicated to you not replying to me in time XD Just kidding, take your time.
Anyways, you are the best rp partner I have and I thought I should let anyone who dare visit know. It is rare that I get caught up in a roleplay like this, especially with someone on wolfplay! Your writing style is amazing, and your evil brilliance matches mine perfectly!!! I cannot wait to see what you have in store for this thing. (I am also kind of terrified, but it's a good sort of terrified :3)
So now, the nut shall curl up back in her hidey hole and await another reply.
Thanks for your brilliant ideas, and putting up with my craziness! I am going to go draw fan art of our roleplay now!!!
