| I have a research thesis due this year, I cannot imagine how I would navigate it without the outline of what they expected to be included. I know how to write papers etc but sometimes they want very specific details. I suppose it depends if it's uni or high school, high school I can see them saying this. But in uni, there is always a word limit |

| Ugh I hate nebulous instructions like this. I dropped a professor this semester because he never posted any of his rubrics online. One day the assignment would be APA, 500 words, Due Next week. Very next class, It was MLA, 9 pages, Due in 3 weeks. |

| ... if he said most of the sentences would be filler sentences then you shouldn't have to have 4 pages on a 3 page essay, now if it's something that you were researching on your own, I can understand why they would like want to have 4 pages on an essay that you were researching yourself. |

| Apothecary, that is what they're getting at but in a tertiary setting it's wrong to say this to students. The outline of the task should be exactly what is expected of the students, if they expect 4 pages, then they should say that in the rubric or instructions. Otherwise it becomes arbitrary. |

| They're telling you to go above and beyond. Don't do the bare minimum. Be enthusiastic in what you research, and what you write about. |

I've been here since Game year 7 Hi there. So. I'm Sparking Flames. I used to be very active, but over the years, I became unable to. I pop on every now and then, mainly to see if my account is even still active. I've been surprised every time when my den comes up. I've watched friends come and go on here. The ones that I would normally be able to talk to about this kind of stuff have all left as well. But hey, if you've gotten this far, you get to know all my problems! (Be prepared, and please understand, you've been warned) . Still here? Cool. So, i've been diagnosed with depression, anxiety, ptsd, and insomnia. There is more, however they're less mental issues, and more whats happened because of the above. I've been told by multiple people that I need to be on medication, however, because of past trauma and anxiety, I can't take medication. People have suggested a service dog, however, they're very expensive. I live on a farm, and we already have 10 dogs. None of my dogs would be good service dogs sadly, as they are all very active , and already have a job around the farm. . If you want to learn more, or try to know how it feels, or want to know what happened. Feel free to pm me.
