Avatar is of my precious Jack Russell Terrier mix, Hazard. He crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 7/9/24 at 14 years old. He was my soul dog. I miss him more than anything, he made me smile and laugh everyday.

My Pets:

🐾 Hazard: Jack Russell Terrier mix (my angel)

I rescued Haz from one of the veterinary hospitals I worked in when he was 16 weeks old, and he was the easiest puppy ever!! He was friendly, smart, a bit on the lazy side, but always up for anything. He excelled in Obedience and Rally classes, and was a fantastic trick dog until he developed arthritis and cancer later in life. I was blessed to have had many cool experiences with him throughout his life. He passed away at 14 years/5days old, and I miss him every day! He was my soul dog and I know that I'll never have another like him. :(

🐾 Cosmo: Jack Russell Terrier mix (my wild child)

I call Cosmo my "wild child" because he has boundless energy! I rescued him at about 1 year old, he's now 3. He resembles Hazard a lot in terms of coloring/markings, but he's got odd body structure, lol. Hoping to get this boy into Agility classes at some point soon, but first, we have to pass Obedience together! I want to get him enrolled in classes, but life has been busy. Cosmo is not quite as focused on training as Haz was, he has difficulty paying attention when there are other dogs around, because he just loves to play all the time. He is every bit as sweet as he is hyper and I adore him! His original name was, "Billy," but I named him, "Cosmo," because I want to reach for the stars with him!

🐾 Azriel: Standard Poodle (my diva)

Azriel is my only pet that isn't a rescue, I was gifted her from a friend/dog grooming client at about 17 weeks old, she's now 7 years. She's a beautiful girl with blue coloring, although her coat is getting lighter with age. She's smart and just a bit less wild than Cosmo, LOL! Azzie came into my life during a difficult time, and I'm so thankful for her! She isn't too fond of people until she gets to know you, in which case she will be your friend forever! She absolutely LOVES all other animals, large or small...she's even made friends with a turtle that has taken up residence in our backyard, it's so funny. And she has helped me to raise two litters of foster kittens and one litter of foster pups over the years, she's very motherly even though she's never had babies of her own.

🐾 Hyrule: Domestic Short Hair (my sweet boy)

I rescued Hyrule at about 6 weeks old from an adoption event at our local shelter. He's a grey tabby and is about 3 years now. He was one of the only cats/kittens left, and he seemed so sad, yet hopeful. I couldn't leave him behind! Very easy-going and just a sweetheart overall. Hyrule loves his "pack," especially his doggos! He and Hazard were extremely bonded. He is very smart and quick to pick up on anything! For example, one of the first things he learned as a kitten was to sit nicely for treats...I never taught him that, he just picked it up by watching the dogs, lol. He is a big boy now, and so handsome! I call him, "Baby Shark," because he never leaves me alone, LOL!

🐾 Jane: Domestic Short Hair (my crazy girl)

My roommate rescued Jane, but over time she became my cat, lol, as she tends to do better with women over men. We aren't exactly sure how old she is, but perhaps around 5 years. She was traumatized in her previous home, so, she's got some issues...but we love her all the same! Plus, she's a tortoiseshell, so..."tortitude" is what she's all about! She has come a very long way in just the few short years she's been in our lives. Her original name was, "Cleo," but I named her, "Crazy Jane," after one of my favorite DC superheroes...it suits her perfectly since she seems to have multiple personalities, LOL.

🐾 Asher: Yorkshire Terrier (my newest pack member)

I rescued Asher right after Hazard passed away, he's 2 years old. He likes to think that he's the "boss" of the pack, little does he know that he's totally not, lol. He's a cute little thing, only about 6lbs. I'm still getting to know his personality, but he is bigger than life! He's sweet and cuddly when he wants to be, and he's a very early riser, won't let me sleep in even on my days off! Ash the Flash!
