There are some opposing groups against the current leadership and this doesn't appear to be changing any time soon. However, the current greatest threat to the nation is a failed harvest, but the current leadership might sacrifice too much to solve this issue. The people of Uxil are joyful. They live satisfying lives and while medicine might be lacking, their food production helps relief most of their issues. Religion holds a fair deal of importance in their lives and, if anything, has made them more proud. The people of Uxil are quite spiritual as well and they have firm beliefs and ancient traditions.
