**This pack implores the appreciation of all creation. Lore is very loosely based on subjects in the Bible, Native Mythology, and other global legends. It is, by no means, meant to be seen as satanic or otherwise. Lore will depict multiple mature concepts and should not be taken as a direct expression of my personal beliefs. Lastly, this is a safe space for any religion, agnosticism, or atheism.

Purgatory's class structure is matriarchal. The ruler of this swampish wasteland is the Sovereign, and beneath her, the Subaltern. The next tier below are the Alpha and Beta of Beasts, both of which may transition to Elderbeast once of age. Beasts are creatures that have not yet gained enough dominance to wield power, yet are bestowed permission to live unharmed on the astral plane. The lowest rung of class are the Souls. When each life is born, they begin as a New Soul and graduate to Soul upon reaching maturity. It is this stage where the Soul is granted three options:
Escape, Ascend, or Die.
