We speak as many but we are one

Another day comes and it's already a month after new pups were born. Today is the day the pups will stand before their fate. The Alpha Male goes up to the playing pups and looks at them menacingly. The younglings stop and cower as they already know what is going to happen. They were told so from the day they were born that only the chosen ones can stay in the pack. The Alpha starts to walk away, calm as ever as if he wouldn't be bothered by the dread in the air. "Follow me" was all that he said. The pups quickly follow as they don't want to be punished for not listening. Soon the wolves approach a large boulder.

The world around them seems to stop and all the sould of the environment goes silent. Black mist surrounds the wolves and the boulder. A pair of red glowing eyes emerge from the mist and a large, black warg like wolf stands boldly on the rock, looking down at the group of pups. She looks straight into their souls and after a minute she speaks. Her voice sends chills down the wolves spines and they look frightened with their heads hung low as they don't even dare to look at her, afraid that they will be doomed if they do.

"You... shall be named Aika" she looked down at the one of the many pups "The rest of you are outcasts". Those two sentences were the only ones before the wolf disappeared into the black mist that soon disappeared as well, leaving the children alone with the Alpha.

The pups finally started whimpering, depressed that they are not good enough to stay in the pack. The Alpha turns away in a different direction from the den. "You have to go, Aika. The rest will come with me" he said and started moving away from the den, not stopping to wait for the pups as he knew they will follow him anyway. After a bit of walking the group approaches the clearing in the forest where other pups, juveniles and wolves reside, waiting to be either sold to other packs or sacrificed to Daemon, the Black Wolf. The Alpha Male looks briefly at the grpoup before silently walking back to the den, leaving the pups here.
