Tori trotted through the gloomy woods, rain falling from the sky and soaking her fur. 'It is okay Tori,' the female thought. 'Just a bit longer'
She was too tired now, she had to rest. But, no den or something that could be a den could be found. Then, right as she was about to give up her amber eyes came across something. The roots of a tree were sticking up out of the ground, thick, wide, and tall enough for Tori to for now call home base. Just in time too, she could feel a sickness starting to come upon her.
[After the storm]
She awoke with a small sniffle; she was starting to get sick. Forcing her body up, she started from under the tree roots and onto the forest floor. The mucky mud quickly staining her paws. "If it is this wet from last night's rain, there must be prey lurking around here somewhere" she spoke to herself as she started splashing her way through the woods.
Right as the female was about to give up on the hunt, she noticed something leaping through the bushes. A hare. She quickly crouched down, her tail raised. She licked her chops. Then, POW! She leaped onto the hare and bit into its back, paralyzing it. Then, she grabbed its neck and slowly killed it. "Finally," she whispered after dropping it. "A good meal."
