Description of what it can do: Manipulate shadows; Becoming a shadow; Making “shadow” weapons (forming a whip or knife, colored a foggy black, and then dissipating at the casters will); Able to temporarily blind someone with shadows (no more than 1-3 minutes at a time); To surround something in darkness and making it disappear into the “Shadow Dimension” (To which she can easily make a shadow circle, reach her hand in and grab whatever she put in there. Think of it like Mary Poppins bag); This isn’t really power…? But it’s an effect of being in the dark. When she isn’t a complete shadow, her amber eyes glow in the darkness of whatever form she is in, even if it’s partial shadow, and only glow when she’s using her ability
Weaknesses: She cannot be out in direct sunlight for longer than 4+ hours without it completely disabling her Umbrakinesis. She’s driven by darkness and shadows, and to be exposed to that much brightness without any shade breaks really renders her almost completely useless. Whenever her emotions are unstable or she starts feeling like she’s losing control over them, she may have difficulty hiding her powers
Strengths: On the flip side, she’s strongest in complete darkness, almost feeling fueled by it. After she’s completely drained of her ability, leave her alone in the dark to rest for the night, and she’ll come back rejuvenated the next morning. Because of her childhood and physical training, Evelyn is exceedingly good at hand-to-hand combat and has a specific specialty in daggers and whips. But she chooses to rarely fight using her shadow abilities, so you won’t see her using her shadow daggers or whips any time soon.

Personality:
Evelyn is very reserved and quiet, but if needed to voice her thoughts, she is considered to be honest and direct. She is awkward when it comes to meeting others, lacking in the understanding of social cues. Easily defensive, she’s distrustful of others and takes a longer time to warm up to someone. Evelyn dislikes the idea of temporary materials or friendships, so if she befriends you, it’s very much like a “ride or die.”
When she is met with a new or powerful emotion, Evelyn becomes temporarily shocked into a stupor and wants time to figure out what she is feeling. Showing or feeling these emotions mean vulnerability to her, and she hates feeling vulnerable or powerless in a situation.
Strengths:
Resilience; Evelyn is one of the most resilient of individuals you will come across. When she is faced with a challenge, Evelyn is not one to buckle from it or flee, or to scurry away when given one of life’s unexpected plot twists. It doesn’t matter whether life gave her the wrong set of cards or not, she will continue pushing through no matter the cost.
Wit: One thing this young lady is known for is her sharp tongue. Her insults are timed at just the right moment to make you question your worth, yet they could also be a double-edged sword. She could be insulting you or complimenting you, and you would have to scratch your head, thinking about it. ‘Was that something to be proud of… Or should I be crying?’ Evelyn tends to have that effect on others.
Passionate: She doesn’t get passionate often, but when she pursues something with all of her heart and mind, very little stands between her and that goal. Either it is through expressing her emotions in some way, or wanting something that others deemed impossible to achieve, she would do her best to stay motivated in that direction.
Weaknesses:
Rage: Though she attends therapy weekly still to help her cope with it, Evelyn can become enraged when someone pisses her off just enough. It will take a while to get her to that point, after almost 2 years of rehabilitation and 5 years of therapy, but once she reaches that point? She loses her sense of right and wrong and will expose her powers after trying to repress them for so long.
Harsh: Evelyn is not one known for kind words. Yes, she was taught some common social mannerisms to help her communicate with the world, but she is still oddly blunt, to the point of being cruel. It isn’t that she means to hurt you, but doesn’t see the point in hiding what she’s thinking.
Introverted: It isn’t a surprise given her harsh upbringing, Evelyn isn’t a social butterfly. She can’t handle being around very large crowds that well and finds it more draining than anything. It also renders her ability to make any friendships, since she dislikes the idea of socializing.

Physical Description:
Evelyn is a tall, fit woman with a toned physique, standing at an astounding 6'0". She towers over most women, and even some men, and can be seen as intimidating or intense. To some, she appears stuck up or prideful, to others, she seems to appear angry all the time. But with her height and athletic body, it would be iffy to mess with someone like her. But with a toned body comes great curves! Of course, she doesn't flaunt anything, but she does have a nice chest and rump, only really noticeable in skinny jeans and shorts, along with spandex clothing. Evelyn has a dark bronze-colored tan that appears almost clear, with the exception of freckles on her shoulders and nose, all barely visible. She has smaller wrists and ankles, giving the appearance that her hands or feet may be dainty, but really, this helps her with running and climbing more swiftly since there is less bone. Her collarbone and hips are defined as well, showing where they are when revealed.
Evelyn has sharp features with almost hollow-looking cheeks and high cheekbones, giving her a very sculpted appearance. She has a more diamond-shaped face, somewhat wide with noticeable shadows where the dip on her cheeks are. She has thicker, more arched eyebrows that give her a permanent stoic look, making her appear serious or annoyed most of the time. Paired with that, she has wide, hooded amber eyes with thick black lashes. Her eyes resemble the sunset right when the sun is halfway down the sky, the oranges and reds mixed together in one cacophony of color in her irises. Evelyn has long ebony black hair that goes down to her waist and seems wavy about halfway down. When planning to sleep or exercise, she almost always puts her hair up in a high ponytail or two side braids. Her lips have a noticeable Cupid’s bow and appear in an archer's bow shape with the bottom lip more rounded. Her lips would be in a pout and may be considered attractive if they weren't in a scowl or frown most of the time. Evelyn has a straight normal-sized nose, it doesn't tip upwards near the end, doesn't bend in the middle, it's a straight nose that is a little thinner. She also has a strong jawline, like most of her features, this asset is defined and seems to be sharp. Overall, she is attractive, but not many see it under the cold glare she usually gives or a disgusted scowl.
Her clothing style is mainly dark in color, more on the comfortable and athletic side, and she always wears fingerless gloves. Evelyn ops to wear dark-colored sweaters, hoodies, and baggy shirts with maybe a smart-ass remark as the graphic design. She enjoys wearing ripped skinny jeans that are mainly dark denim or straight-up black and also prefers sweatpants as well when practicing her fighting skills or training. Though, on a rare occasion, she would wear shoulder-free tops that have a tank top underneath. But no matter what she's wearing or the style, she'll wear many different designs of gloves depending on the occasion. But she doesn't really care for modesty at the same time, so sometimes she'll wear a long-sleeved crop top that's shredded in the back with a strapless boulder-holder underneath. When it's hot, spandex shorts or normal shorts along with a muscle shirt are her go-to outfits. Evelyn also enjoys wearing chokers or spiked earrings, maybe even the occasional fake lip ring just for show. She prefers the darker side of things, straying from the norm.
