| Fern Dang I do love beef especially ribs now I'm hungry :D I find it so amazing the dedication it takes to keep a farm together and raise all these animals so hats off to you and your family . So how does picking a bull work do you usually keep the same bull for a while then switch ? I take it once the girlies have retired from producing babies they get shipped off to become beef burgers too xD |

| Winter I have several cow dogs; that's one of the red heelers! Her name is Maddi <3 I love calves :D Dom Totally! I grew up rurally, so living in a big ass dorm building smack center in the city has been an adjustment and a learning moment---definitely will be living rurally forever :') |

| Dom Yeah they learn that human settlements = food and water in a lot of places. They keep a wide berth from our houses now though, let's just say they met an American end lmao. I've lost kitties to coyotes :') Winter Omg no I LOVE teaching people about it! It's something that's so relevant to so many people's lives that's often misunderstood or mistaught :D I truly enjoy it. We do keep some females back every year; they're called replacement heifers! They have to meet a lot of specific criteria to stay though. The bull calves are neutered via banding, making them steers, and the steers and other heifers are sold each fall and shipped to Iowa for a private feedlot to be fed out to butcher :D |

| Fern I live in Southern California, lots of desert around here so the coyotes seem to gravitate towards the houses for food and water. Can't count how many pets my neighbors have lost. And my dad thinks I'm crazy for being strict about my cats staying inside |

| Coyotes are nasty little things. I love animals and wildlife, but coyotes are some of the dirtiest killers out there. They'll just rip things apart for fun. They lure pets into traps. They'll start eating baby calves when they're newborn and very alive |

Avatar Credits to me (#148017) Avatar is a pic of my mare, Angel ❤️ When she was a day old, I went out there in my jacket and little cowgirl boots and she came right up to me. I was almost 2 years old and my mom had to snap a pic cuz the little filly wouldn't come to nobody. I asked my mom what had wings as it looked like she had wings on her back, my mom told me Angels. Thus how her name came about because I started calling her Angel. She was taken from me a few times over the years and she was abused by the people who took her from me. Since day one we had an unbreakable bond. When she seen me and my mom get out of the car, as my moms friend found her for sale and called us to go see her, Angel perked right up and ran to the gate whinning at us. I cried that day, i finally got my bestfriend back, and she's not ever going anywhere again.
