Ink, no yeah I HATE humidity with a passion. I remember in Cali and Nevada I felt fine with the heat, the dryness is so much better for me! Meanwhile, in Florida, I am SUFFERING x'D |
Inktriguing |
I've always had a low heat tolerance, at least with humidity. I think I'd do better somewhere like Arizona. I prefer being colder since it feels easier to warm up than to cool down. I can add layers but I can only remove so many. However I also get super cold easily too </3 My body can't pick |
ConjuringCassiopeia |
Anatolian, no for real, I cannot count the amount of times my life has been in danger due to black ice T-T ooooh so you drive to Georgia! My family drives to Tennessee once a year (if funds permit), I'm sure we drive a similar route! :D |
ConjuringCassiopeia |
Ink, omg xD I used to be like that as a kid! Now as an adult, I'm just sick of snow :') I'll say this though, I prefer falling asleep in the winter over the summer because at least I don't overheat and struggle to sleep </3 my apartment's walls are super thin and suck at insulation, so I can feel the winter through the damn walls x'D but honestly if I was somewhere warm, I'd be keeping my apartment cool and I'd be equally as happy ^^ |
Anatolian Shepherd |
@Cassi We get more ice on the roads then actual snow xD both scary to drive through. I have to drive through Tennessee to get to Georgia and that state is beautiful too |
Inktriguing |
</3 I personally LOVE the snow and cold. Unfortunate for me, my body does not. It triggers my asthma and few other conditions I have. Though that never stopped me from jumping into the 4ft deep snow in a tshirt and shorts up in NY >:3 I felt so alive in that moment |
ConjuringCassiopeia |
Anatolian, honestly I think that everyone from Illinois hates the snow and cold we get, some just can't admit it (like my dad xD). Oooh that sounds like Tennessee! I've been very close to the border of Georgia before, so I'm sure I've seen the same mountains! (well... we at least saw the same mountain range xD) |
Anatolian Shepherd |
@Ink That's very sad. There's one who sits at the corner by my work. Nice guy but he gets too close to my car each time and kind of looks in at me. Thankfully I have my dog most of the time and he's scared of her and stays back. |
Anatolian Shepherd |
@Cassi I hate the snow and cold too so I get it! Georgia has so many big mountains. It's a lot prettier then Illinois, that's for sure. |
Inktriguing |
@Anatolian Good grief, Im so sorry to hear that happened. It really is heartbreaking though to see people out on the streets. I live in a very small town right now and unfortunately there are a lot of addicts here who will do similar things. Its so bad here most people have lost empathy towards them. Even if they may not be the best people, they still are human at the end of the day in a bad situation. |
ConjuringCassiopeia |
Anatolian, no for real!! January and February are brutal cold months T-T kind of glad that we haven't had much snow the past few years, but regardless I kind of hate snow and cold and blaghh x'D I've never been to Georgia but that sounds lovely! :D |
Narran |
<3 Appreciate that! I need to get active again. My life is just hectic lol Need to quit my job and go travelling again. |
ConjuringCassiopeia |
Ink, ooooh that actually sounds so cool :0 making me wanna plan a trip to NY as soon as possible xD and yeah Cali is just... Sigh. I think I belong there! It just felt right. I have yet to visit the Atlantic, my whole family has seen it besides me and my sister x'D |
Anatolian Shepherd |
@Cassi We don't get a lot of snow like we used to but damn, is it cold. I always have low iron so I'm more cold then most people. I want to move to Georgia. I used to visit there for weeks a few times a year and it was always beautiful. |
ConjuringCassiopeia |
Anatolian, that's very fair, I get it! City life isn't for everyone, I do love me a small cabin in Tennessee whenever my family goes :'D |
Inktriguing |
@Cass When I lived in New York for 2 1/2 years, it was beautiful! I lived in upstate New York in a small "cow town" that was mildly walkable. Very quaint place to be, but still had to drive 30+ min to get anywhere that had more things to offer. Also you're making me wish I could be at Cali right now <//33 I love the ocean so much. I got to visit the Atlantic ocean at Virginia beach! Though it was a little too cold to do a whole lot of swimming at the time. |
Anatolian Shepherd |
@Cassi I don't travel to big cities except for Chicago and that's only twice a year thankfully. I'll stick to my little towns xD I'm not equipped for the city life. I wouldn't survive a full 24 hours. |
ConjuringCassiopeia |
Anatolian, our Illinois winters are truly brutal, it's part of why I've been considering moving out west to Nevada or California >.> I hate humidity too so that's why x'D |
ConjuringCassiopeia |
Anatolian, unfortunately that's an issue of all American big cities :( I can attest for LA and Las Vegas at least too. This country just does a shit job of taking care of them </3 I'm sorry to hear about your experiences, honestly that hasn't been a common experience for me but I know it does happen |
