| The only good use of AI I have seen thus far is someone getting an AI personality to talk with a scammer for hours to waste their time. I think it was black Santa Claus I recently got a disguised scam from a "photographer" on Facebook marketplace asking to take pictures of my mantis for 100-200$. Immediately smelled something sus and sure enough, it's a common scam where they will overpay you, ask to send back the difference, and then cancel their original payment so they can make off with 900$ |

| I find scammers so annoying. Like dude there are jobs other than tricking elderly or gullible people for selfish gain >.> I get calls every day and one time these numbers (I think like burner phone numbers) were calling me Jeff and saying we had lunch?? I don't know I just blocked them. Might've been Ai, might have not been. They kept contacting me through new numbers but same area code. |

| Using AI that's good enough to mimic a human just to catfish someone is just a *but* of a stretch, in my opinion 😅 I feel like people with something that advanced would probably use it for deep fakes or scams |

| Yeah I go by these rules if you intend to meet them (but remember meeting online people IRL isn't always the best decision): 1. Bring your phone, but hide it-ish. 2. Tell someone where you're going like Cae said. 3. Or you can bring someone with you. 4. Meet at a public place and NOT alone. |

| I feel like it's not advanced enough to fully mimic a human being on a video call. You can always have them hold up some sort of verification, like their username written on a piece of paper |

| Ai is scary and it can be used on video calls in real time too, if you do think of meeting up irl do make sure someone knows exactly where you are going (and do not go to second location!!) plus all the info you have on him ^^" |

| Yeah like Enigma said, because some people like to catfish or pretend to be kids or teens when they're really 60 year old men who have bad intentions. Usually face reveals, like turning off your camera and seeing the other person's first. Also be wary of giving contact information. |
